Chapter 1193: Giving Out Shares
Shortly after Diana made a phone call, a response was readily made.
"It’s done, Miss." In under 4 minutes, a company had been officially established.
All the relevant documents were also sent to Xu Feng’s phone, with the registration and certification completed.
"Brother Feng, you just need to give your e-signature, and you can begin the operation," Evelyn said sweetly.
"Thanks," Xu Feng kept a calm composure on the surface. But secretly, he was stunned at Evelyn’s power.
He doubted this could be done at lightning speed with just money alone.
There had to be a connection between her and a more powerful government.
Sometime later, Xu Feng instructed Wei Xing to contact the Guild Captain regarding the company and to take over the process.
"Right away, Honorary Elder!" Wei Xing saluted and quickly took the chance to leave the premises. Truth be told, he was frightened by Evelyn’s means by now. He truly couldn’t endure much longer under the presence of such a person.
Naturally, Xu Feng had discerned his unease and purposely gave him a way to leave without being obvious.
Moreover, the company’s process seriously needed someone like Veronica to watch over. Although the guild had to continuously expand, there were still only a handful of people whom he could entrust a major task to.
It wasn’t that he was distrustful of newcomers, but trust was a term that required build-up.
"Evelyn, the Vanguard Entertainment Group will remain private. But because of your help, I’m willing to offer you 3% of the shares." Xu Feng calmly said.
"3%?" Evelyn raised an eyebrow. She didn’t expect to receive any shares.
"Why? Do you think it’s too little?"
"Of course, not!"
She giggled and readily accepted the percentage without any argument whatsoever.
’What happened to our Miss?’ On the side, though, Diana twitched her mouth.
How could 3% even be appropriate when it was a newly established company in which her Miss had invested 5 million dollars?
Such a large fund should have received at least 40% plus!
Yet Xu Feng was only offering 3% and her Miss was still delighted to receive some shares.
Was this still the ruthless and talented businesswoman that she knew?
One should never underestimate Evelyn’s beauty.
Her business foresight had made her a force to be reckoned with. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been able to be so willful.
Her parents were all helpless when it came to her decision because of how much she had raised the company to the top.
It was a good thing Evelyn was filial in a sense.
’Forget it. Nothing makes sense since we came here.’ Diana no longer wanted to overthink too much. Her mind could not function well when it came to Evelyn’s actions.
Sometime later, the casting process resumed progress, whilst Diana helped draft a contract of share transfer.
Half a day later...
"Hah, finally done with casting all the majority..." Chen Kexin stretched her arms with a tired expression. "Now I know why all casting directors appear uninterested and even disappointed at times."
"Agreed." Li Sheng Xuan nodded. "Although we found some gems, the rest were all terrible. Even 30 seconds seemed too long for them."
"Tell me about it." Ding Xiao Ying dangled her legs around.
"I’m never doing this again." She continued and attempted to latch onto Xu Feng, only to be stopped by Evelyn.
"You—" Ding Xiao Ying’s eyes flared up. This woman had been hogging Xu Feng throughout the entire casting process, resulting in her being unable to get close to him.
Now that it was over, she was still hogging him.
Wasn’t that just too overbearing?
"Brother Feng is exhausted and should get some rest." Evelyn ignored Ding Xiao Ying’s glare and suggested.
Naturally, the scene caught Xu Feng. But he was indeed too worn out and had no energy to receive more flirty actions from them.
"There’s a hotel room rented out for you all to take a rest during your time. If there’s anything else, do send me a message." He stood up and explained.
The three of them didn’t reject the offer.
They had never been this exhausted as well.
If given a choice, they would rather shoot for 15 hours straight than sit in the chair and judge each person’s audition.
Shortly after, the three of them were guided away by hotel employees who had been on standby to assist them.
Given their importance, Xu Feng didn’t hesitate to spend large amounts of money to ensure their condition was in top form.
Once nearly everyone left, Ling Qingxue made sure to emphasize that she would be waiting for a response.
"No worries, the Guild Leader will make sure you are satisfied." Xu Feng chuckled and said ambiguously.
"Ahem," Ling Qingxue faked a cough, unable to give a proper response.
What the hell did he mean by being satisfied?
She was only interested in discussing business.
Now that the Vanguard Guild had officially created a Vanguard Entertainment Group, it would only be a matter of time before they expanded to further types of business.
She needed to make haste and join the bandwagon quickly. Otherwise, once late to the train, there would be no pills for regret.
"Goodbye." While Ling Qingxue left without a word, Huo Ninger waved her hand. She didn’t hold any hostility toward Xu Feng, unlike Ling Qingxue.
Xu Feng waved his hand in return before shifting his attention to Evelyn.
"Shouldn’t you leave as well?" He inquired. Throughout the casting process, she gave the most input and questions.
For women, she kept testing their acting skills.
For men, she kept testing their character skills.
Although Evelyn treated the three actresses with some hostility, she was actually quite protective and made sure to ban men with lustful eyes.
From her perspective, she believed eliminating lustful men who could cause trouble in the set was better. Even if it meant losing a talented individual, she would rather avoid a possible harassment or scandal.
"I don’t want to leave yet." Evelyn held her chin with her hands, her eyes practically sparkling in glitter.
"I want to gaze at you longer."
