“Sis, now that we have the house, come with me to the car dealership.” Chen Yang started the car while setting the navigation with his other hand.

“It’s not for me. A childhood friend is getting married in a few days, and I didn’t know what to give, so I thought of buying him a car as a gift.” Chen Yang explained.
Upon hearing this, Caiyun understood immediately. It was a gift for someone else.
“Oh, I see. Then let’s go. I’ll go with you to take a look.” Caiyun happily agreed, and they spent the afternoon visiting major car dealerships in the capital city.
After a careful comparison, they settled on a large SUV model.
Though it wasn’t from a luxury brand, it cost over three to four hundred thousand.
This price is already considered high-end for ordinary people, not something just anyone would drive.
Chen Yang chose this car for Niu Ming considering that he runs a restaurant and would find the convenience of a car useful.
Moreover, the SUV could carry many things, making it practical; hence the choice.
Once the model was set, Chen Yang paid for the car in full and arranged with the dealership to have it delivered by truck to Liuhe Village on the day of Niu Ming’s wedding.
The dealership’s service attitude was impeccable, readily agreeing and even offering quite a few gifts.
Having sorted everything out, it was getting late. Chen Yang took Caiyun to a high-end restaurant for a sumptuous dinner before officially driving back to the county.
They left after seven in the evening and returned to the He Yu Restaurant by ten, almost eleven.
After a day of running around and driving, when they got home, Chen Yang and Caiyun were genuinely exhausted.
All they wanted to do upon arriving home was to take a shower and hit the bed.
But to their surprise, Xia Qianqian was still awake at this hour, watching TV on the couch.
Seeing Chen Yang and Caiyun suddenly return, she was full of surprise!
“Mom! Uncle Chen Yang! How did you suddenly come back? Where have you been these past couple of days?” Qianqian exclaimed excitedly from the couch, looking at the two of them.
Caiyun had planned to surprise Qianqian with the house purchase, so she hadn’t told her about going to buy a house in the capital city.
She just asked her to stay home obediently.
“It’s so late, and you’re still not asleep. Do you want to go to school tomorrow?” Caiyun, instead of answering Qianqian directly, tiredly took off her bag and scolded Qianqian for still being awake at this hour.
Upon hearing this, Qianqian pouted but didn’t bother with Caiyun. Instead, she began questioning Chen Yang about where they had been.
Chen Yang, smiling broadly, said, “Your mom and I went to buy a house for you. We bought a large house of one hundred and fifty square meters as your dowry.”
Chen Yang straightforwardly blurted it out, but Qianqian, hearing the truth, didn’t believe it.
“Hmph, Uncle Chen Yang, you’re teasing me, right? Did mom really go buy me a house? Didn’t grandma and uncle say mom couldn’t buy me a house?” Qianqian still pouted, feeling that Chen Yang was pulling her leg.
“It’s true. We even brought the deed back; you can ask your mom to show it to you.” Chen Yang continued.
This made Qianqian somewhat skeptical, her eyes filled with anticipation as she looked towards Caiyun.
Caiyun had intended to keep it a secret, but seeing Chen Yang had already brought it up, she smiled and shook her head, taking out the property certificate from her bag.
“Your Uncle Chen Yang didn’t lie to you. We really bought it. Have a look.” Caiyun said, handing the property certificate to Qianqian with a smile.
Seeing the bright red property certificate, Qianqian gasped in delight, surprised.
She wasn’t a child anymore; she was an adult now.
So she already had a concept of money and assets in her mind.
Seeing the property, she was genuinely surprised and very happy!
“Haha! Love you to bits, Mom! You really bought it for me!” Qianqian couldn’t even open the deed to look closely before she was so excited that she hugged Caiyun tightly, bursting with excitement.
Caiyun was happy too but still gave Qianqian an eye-roll.
“You shouldn’t thank me today—you should thank your Uncle Chen Yang properly. Without him, this house wouldn’t have been possible.” Caiyun said.
Upon hearing this, Qianqian immediately released Caiyun and excitedly gave Chen Yang a big hug!
“Haha, thank you too, Uncle Chen Yang!”
Qianqian was actually around the same age as Chen Yang, just one or two years younger.
Hugging like this in front of Caiyun made Chen Yang feel a bit awkward.
Though it was comforting, he quickly eased away from Qianqian.
“Haha, no need to be so polite. It’s not too early, you should go to bed early. You have school tomorrow.” Chen Yang coughed lightly and said.
“Hehe.” Qianqian didn’t find anything wrong, smiled happily, and nodded, “Okay, I’ll go to my room to sleep now. Love you both.”
Thrilled, Qianqian turned off the TV and headed to her room, blowing kisses to both Chen Yang and Caiyun.
Caiyun just shook her head.
“This girl is getting more and more mischievous.”
“Haha, it’s good for girls to have some spirit.” Chen Yang smiled softly and said.
Then he and Caiyun went to shower and went to bed early.
It had been a long day.
They went to bed at midnight, and Chen Yang didn’t wake up until after nine the next morning.
When he woke up, he found Caiyun was already gone.
Putting on clothes, he got out of bed and was about to go find Caiyun when he bumped into her coming in with breakfast from outside.
“You’re up, Yang Zi. I just finished making breakfast and was about to call you.” Caiyun said with a smile, placing the breakfast on the table.
“Sis, why did you think of waking me up at this time? It’s already nine.” Chen Yang glanced at the time on his phone and said.
Caiyun smiled and clapped her hands, “I thought you were very tired from yesterday, so I didn’t bother you, wanted to let you sleep a bit longer. Now that you’re up, go freshen up and have breakfast.”
“Alright.”
Hearing this, Chen Yang felt a warmth in his heart, and quickly went to the bathroom to wash up, then ate the breakfast Caiyun had prepared.
