Chapter 215: Echoes Across The Worlds

Chapter 215: Echoes Across The Worlds

[Supreme World.]

On the pinnacle of the Angel’s Tower in the Supreme World, Aurelia, a figure of breathtaking power, sat with eight luminous wings folded behind her. Beside her sat a magnificent, pristine white Fox with ten flowing tails.

Aurelia’s eyes snapped open, blazing with intensity. She rose instantly, a chilling hint of genuine worry etching her serene features.

"Who made such a huge sacrifice in the Lower World!?" she muttered, the sound echoing with disbelief. "Even summoning Lilith’s fragment!"

The Fox’s tails twitched, its voice strained with shock. "Lilith? You mean the Goddess of Evil, Dread, Sins, and Blood?"

"Is there someone else with that name in the whole Supreme World?!" Aurelia hissed, the sharp retort underscoring her stress. Her decision was immediate. "I need to visit her."

"But Master... your powers won’t be at their best in her realm!" the Fox protested, worry evident in its tone.

"The fox is right," a new voice cut in. Raphael landed softly, his six white wings slowing to a rest. "You aren’t yourself anywhere outside your domain."

Aurelia turned to him, her brow furrowed with righteous concern. "But she will destroy the whole Lower World! It won’t survive her presence!" she argued, her voice rising in anguish.

Raphael remained calmly stoic. "The Lower World has lasted this long without our intervention. Besides, you’ve done a lot for them, Aurelia. Let them fight their own battles." He took a slow, deliberate breath.

"You are only worried because of Infinite. You don’t have to."

Aurelia stared at him for a long second, her eyes searching his for insincerity. She turned her head to the distance, gazing out at the swirling clouds, her thoughts solely on him.

"I will act if Infinite is in danger," she stated, the declaration a solemn vow, then vanished from the top of the tower without another word.

Raphael sighed, a sound of resignation.

"Don’t look at me," the Fox muttered, its form dissolving into a flash of golden light. "My Master always goes with her decision, and you can’t stop your Queen."

"Who summoned Lilith’s fragment in the Lower World?" Raphael murmured to himself.

"Just her fragment is a second-order powerhouse. The sheer magnitude of that sacrifice bypassed the restrictions... how will the Lower World possibly face such a catastrophe?"

[Great World: Dragon Faction.]

In a grand, gilded throne hall, an old man slowly opened his eyes.

"I thought that old witch was in seclusion?" he muttered, a cold sweat breaking out despite his power. "Will she destroy the entire Lower World just for a game?"

_

[Great World: Lester Faction.]

Madeleine jumped to her feet. Her delicate teacup crashed to the ground with a CLANK.

"This?!" she shrieked. "Why is Mother’s fragment in the Lower World?! Who summoned her?!"

The skeletons standing guard, loyal but terrified, shuffled backward from her explosion of disbelief and fear.

__

[Upper World.]

The Wendigos’ King smiled, a predatory satisfaction curling his lips. "Shadow Eyes finally summoned the Great Mother... I hope this is the right thing."

"Shadow Eyes is one of the Great Mother’s most devoted servants," Veer confirmed, his fists clenched in anticipation. "The God Wolf will be dead by morning."

___

[Lower World: Immortal Council.]

In the Council hall, Leonardo and all the elders bolted upright, their faces etched with horror.

"What being has such dense energy?!" Jabari asked, his voice trembling.

"This... This energy is a hundred times stronger than God Wolf’s," Marie gasped, sweat rolling down her face. "How did such a being appear here?"

"We must locate this person’s coordination!" Leonardo roared, fighting to keep his authority in the face of absolute terror. "We must know who this stranger is!"

"Are we investigating now?" Arthur asked, his eyes darting to every terrified face.

"Yes!! Start now!" Leonardo yelled, his calm exterior finally broken. The threat was existential.

__

[Eldoria: Sitting Room.]

BAM!!

"AHH!!"

Both Ellen and Jinx, engrossed in their game on the couch, screamed. They clutched their chests, a sudden, blinding spike of pain making them convulse.

"What happened?!" Josephine cried, instantly throwing her game pad onto the table, her killer instincts overriding her shock.

"Jinx, are you okay?!" Star asked, worry instantly draining the color from her face as she set down her glass.

"I... I am fine," Jinx managed, fighting to breathe. She turned to Ellen, who had already gone limp.

"Ellen?! Ellen?!" Panic seized the three women.

BAM!

An unseen force, pure malice, slammed into them again. All three women vomited a mouthful of blood, their faces turning instantly ashen.

"What?" Josephine whispered, unable to comprehend an attack that breached her defenses and struck her essence.

__

[Outside the Castle.]

Sunny grabbed his chest, his powerful body buckling as if a giant hand were squeezing his heart to mush.

"What... What is this?" he asked in utter shock. The pain was absolute, bypassing his God Rank resilience and defence.

{WARNING!!}

{The Great Mother’s fragment is in the Lower World.}

{WARNING!!}

{Attack on Master and Eldoria discovered.}

{SYSTEM’S LEVEL IS TOO LOW TO DEFEND AGAINST THE ATTACK.}

{Master can unseal the spell with the UNSEALING CARD!}

{Master has TEN SECONDS to decide, or all of Eldoria will perish, same with Master!!!!}

Even the System’s voice sounded strained and urgent, a chilling sign of the overwhelming power involved.

"DO IT!! USE THE CARD!" Sunny roared, his focus narrowing to a single point. He had planned to save the Unsealing Card to boost his strength in a dire moment, but the life of his entire nation—his family—was the ultimate dire moment. He didn’t hesitate.

{DONE!!}

BOOOOOOOM!!

A silent, world-shaking explosion of energy sounded in the purple skies high above Eldoria. Instantly, the crushing pain vanished. The attack was nullified.

Sunny gasped, inhaling deeply, then vanished, reappearing in the sitting room in a flash of silver light. He looked at the blood on the floor in horror, rushing immediately to Ellen and Josephine.

"Jo!! Ellen!" he yelled, his composure completely shattered by panic.

"What... What happened?" Josephine slowly opened her eyes, blinking as she stared up at Sunny, the fear in her own eyes quickly giving way to relief at his presence.

Ellen, then Jinx and Star, slowly regained their footing.

"What happened?" Star asked, rubbing her temples, trying to shake off the psychic assault.

"Someone attacked Eldoria," he admitted, his voice low and strained. "You are safe now."

Jinx stared at Ellen, then stood up, rushing from the room, needing to process the brush with absolute death.

"Who attacked us?" Ellen muttered, her voice trembling with the raw shock of their vulnerability.

"I... I don’t know," Sunny admitted, the words tasting like ash in his mouth. "But this person has the strength to bypass all our defenses, and attack every citizen, including me."

The simple statement—the enemy could kill us all at any time, anywhere—shocked the three women into a terrifying silence.God Wolf, for the first time, was utterly outmatched.
