Chapter 1314: Chapter 1314: Not Interested

The Planning Department suddenly received a notice that everyone was given a day off. Not only was Chi Enen stunned, but even Kang Hao was taken aback.

"Director, today’s not April Fools’ Day, right? You’re not joking with us, are you?"

They had just come to work when they were suddenly informed that they were getting a whole day off, and no other department had this benefit; only their department suddenly had a day off.

This was too unbelievable.

"No, the notice just came down from higher-ups. Today you really get a day off. Everyone can pack up their things and leave work now."

"Really?" Others saw his expression didn’t seem like he was joking and finally believed it, "Wow, it’s really a day off! Could it be that the CEO took pity on us for working overtime recently and gave us a special vacation as a reward?"

"Linda, any plans for the afternoon?"

"How about we have a communal meal at noon? Since it’s suddenly a day off, we don’t know where to go. Let’s just play together, play some poker, sing some songs, and then have a meal together," someone suggested.

This suggestion was immediately supported by others, "Sure, count me in."

"I’m going too."

Luna blinked her large eyes and landed them on Kang Hao, quickly smiling like a flower, "Director, are you going?"

Kang Hao glanced to the side at Chi Enen, hesitated a bit, "Um... I can go."

Luna saw his little action of stealing a glance at Chi Enen, felt upset inside, but when she heard he was going to participate, her mood brightened up again.

She forgot that she was slapped in the face by Chi Enen in the elevator yesterday, and walked to Chi Enen’s office desk, asking seemingly unintentionally, "Enen, are you joining us?"

Chi Enen was packing up her things. Seeing her approaching again, she barely frowned, took the car keys out of her bag, and said indifferently, "I have something to do, so I won’t be joining."

Luna heard she wasn’t going, her eyes and eyebrows filled with joy, and was about to say something polite.

Chi Enen had already picked up her bag without looking at her and walked out.

Kang Hao watched as the beautiful little lady was about to pass him by and couldn’t help but call out to her, "Enen."

Chi Enen stopped and turned back with a puzzled look.

Kang Hao’s heart tightened at her clear eyes, and he suddenly got nervous, "You’re not going with us?"

Chi Enen didn’t get it. She’s just a newbie, what did it matter if she attended a group activity or not, why were they all asking her.

"I have some things to do, so I probably can’t attend the activity. Maybe next time."

There was a fleeting disappointment in Kang Hao’s eyes, but he was, after all, a business elite and wouldn’t lose grace over this. He immediately nodded and said, "Hmm, okay. If you have things to do, go ahead and take care of them."

"Then I’ll head out first, bye-bye."

"Bye-bye."

Chi Enen entered the elevator without looking back.

Kang Hao watched all the way as the elevator doors closed, losing interest.

He originally thought Chi Enen would join the group activity, which was why he said he’d go too. But now that Chi Enen wasn’t going, he wasn’t really interested either.

However, since he had already said it, it wasn’t good for him to suddenly change his mind and say he wasn’t going.

Luna saw all of this and murmured softly next to Kang Hao, "Why do I feel like Enen is busy all day long? It’s a day off today, and there’s no work-related stuff. I wonder what she’s rushing around to do. Could she be busy going on a date?"

Kang Hao furrowed his eyebrows, pretending he didn’t hear anything.
