Chapter 277: Come Back To Bed, Rae

Raegar and Dominique continued making love late into the night until the Vampress was covered in sweat after being fucked in so many positions. He was lying against the headboard as she was face up, breathing heavily. Her perky boobs jiggle with every move, setting his lust off once again.

''That felt amazing,'' she whispered in a daze. ''It hurt a little, but when I got used to it, it got even better.''

''Yes, that's good,'' he replied, taking out a bottle of sake and taking a mouthful. ''You felt so good, I could get addicted to this.''

The two of them laughed at this before she took the alcohol and drank some, surprising him. This amused the young woman, who revealed with a knowing smirk crossing her face. ''I enjoy this stuff. I tried it when you left a bottle lying around in the palace.'' Content originally comes from ⓝ

Raegar's eyebrow rose, but a chuckle left his lips. ''Good, I'm glad one of you does. The others hate me drinking it,'' he revealed.

''They're boring, you're young, strong, and some sake won't damage you,'' Dominique reassured. ''Plus I won't let you get addicted to such stuff; it's a waste of life.''

Following this, the duo continued chatting about everything until the Vampress moved forward, giving him a passionate kiss. This sent shivers down his spine, but he quickly reciprocated the gesture. His hands roam over her body, prompting them to make love once again.

By the time they finished, Dominique was out cold, A pleased smile on her face as their mixed fluids stained the sheets. Raegar chuckled at her reaction but cast a cleaning spell over the bed, making it comfortable. He settled in and dragged the Vampress onto his side, where she got comfortable.

Soon enough, the couple was fast asleep. The wind outside shook the windows, but kept them away from the cold air. When he opened his eyes the next morning, the room was freezing, sending a shiver down his body. He quickly used Fire Aether to chase it away as he sat up.

Raegar suddenly woke up, his eyelids heavy as he rubbed them, blinking away the remains of sleep. His gaze fell upon Dominique, still nestled in the cocoon of blankets, curled tightly like a burrito, her soft breathing the only sound in the quiet room. The sight warmed his heart, coaxing a faint smile to his lips despite the grogginess clinging to him.

With a quiet groan, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed, his bare feet meeting the floorboards. A sharp chill shot through him, the icy touch of the wood jarring his senses. ''What the hell is going on?'' he muttered under his breath.

Frowning, Raegar rose, his muscles stiff from the rest. He shuffled toward the window, the faint glow of dawn filtering through the curtains. As he stepped outside, a gust of wind roared past, nearly knocking him off balance. His hands instinctively grasped the iron railing, fingers curling tightly around the cold metal to anchor himself against the gale.

The air was sharp, biting at his exposed skin, and carried with it an unsettling energy that made his pulse quicken. Steadying himself, Raegar leaned cautiously over the railing, his eyes narrowing as he surveyed the city below. The streets, usually bustling with the hum of early morning vendors and commuters, were chaotic.

People darted toward the nearest buildingsbguided by soldiers who barked orders. Above the city barriers flickered into existence, their surfaces rippling like water under the rising sun. The shields enveloped entire districts, casting an eerie glow over the rooftops to protect some of them from the storm.

Just then, Arthur appeared beside him and instantly spoke. ''Looks like the Aether Storm will hit and cause chaos. I'd advise staying in the room with Lady Dominique.''

Raegar glanced at the Fusion Knight and nodded in agreement. ''That sounds like a good idea, but I'll keep an eye on things, don't want more Devils sneaking up on me like Lilith did.''

The knight chuckled at his words before vanishing as he continued watching the weather. It was getting worse as rain mixed in with the wind. He stepped inside only to hear Dominique's voice echo out. ''Come back to bed, Rae. It's cold in here.''

Following that, Raegar approached the fireplace and sent some Aether into it; the flames roared to life and sent warm air floating through the air. He shivered at this and got back into bed. Once inside, the Vampress cuddled up to him just as thunder boomed overhead, causing the hotel to shake.

Her green eyes widened in shock, and he waved her away. ''It's an Aether Storm, but the Dawnfire Mages are putting up shields all across the capital.''

The young woman smiled and rested her head on his shoulder as the two fell asleep, but she disrupted it by kissing his neck. Dominique asked with a dry throat. ''Can I drink some blood, please? I'm thirsty.''

''Yes,'' Raegar answered.

The Vampire's eyes locked onto him, her gaze drawn irresistibly to the movement as he tilted his head to the side. The motion exposed the smooth, vulnerable curve of his neck, where his pulse thrummed steadily beneath his skin. A primal hunger stirred inside her, and she felt the familiar ache in her gums as her fangs lengthened, sharp and eager.

Moments later, the air between them seemed to hum with anticipation, charged with an unspoken understanding that neither could ignore. Raegar's breath hitched, his eyes meeting hers with a mixture of trust and quiet resolve. He gave a faint nod, a silent permission that sent a shiver through her.

Dominique leaned closer, her lips brushing against the warmth of his skin, the scent of him intoxicating, earthy, alive, and laced with the faint metallic tang of what was to come. Her fangs pierced his flesh with a gentle precision, and a soft gasp escaped him, though he remained still, his hands steady at his sides.

As the first drops of his blood touched her tongue, a rush of Aether flooded into Dominique's body, a vibrant, electric energy that pulsed through her veins. It was more than mere sustenance; it was power igniting every fiber of her being. Her muscles tightened, her senses sharpened, and a warmth spread through her core.

The Aether was weaving itself into the very essence of her soul. Each heartbeat of Raegar's seemed to synchronize, amplifying the connection between them as she drank deeply, careful not to take too much. The world around them faded: the flickering candlelight, the distant hum of the city beyond the stone walls, the weight of the night pressing in.

There was only this moment, this exchange, as the Aether strengthened her, mending the weariness of days past and filling her with a renewed sense of purpose. Raegar's hand rose, resting lightly on her arm, a grounding touch that reminded her of the fragile trust they shared.

Dominique pulled back slowly, her fangs retracting as she licked the last trace of blood from her lips, her eyes glowing faintly with the power now coursing through her. ''Are you alright?'' she whispered, her voice low.

Raegar smiled at her, his hand lingering on her arm. ''Never better,'' he murmured, his voice steady despite the slight pallor in his cheeks.

The bond between them felt stronger now. The young woman's heart still raced with the lingering rush of Aether, its warmth settling into her bones. His faint smile lingered in the dim light, his eyes heavy but unwavering as they met hers. The air in the room felt charged, the closeness of their exchange leaving a quiet hum between them.

Outside, the wind howled louder, a restless beast clawing at the stone walls of their sanctuary. The distant clatter of shutters banging against windows and the low rumble of thunder underscored the growing storm. Raegar shifted, his hand slipping from her arm as he leaned back against the wall, his strength visibly sapped but his resolve unbroken.

''You didn't take too much,'' he said softly.

Dominique's lips curved into a faint, guilty smile, her fingers brushing against the twin puncture marks on his neck, now faintly red but already beginning to fade. ''I'm careful,'' she murmured as if speaking too loudly might shatter the fragile peace of the moment.

She reached out, guiding him gently toward the bed, her touch firm yet tender. ''You need to rest.''

Raegar drew Dominique into his arms, his embrace firm yet tender, pulling her close until their bodies pressed together in a cocoon of warmth. His lips found hers in a kiss that burned, a fleeting spark left them both breathless. The storm outside raged on, its furious winds howling through the capital's streets.

The world felt distant. They settled into the bed, the heavy blankets molding around them as they found comfort in each other's presence. Exhausted from hours of lovemaking, their bodies tired, breaths slowing as they drifted into a deep sleep.
