Chapter 246 BOO = SMART

Chapter 246: Chapter 246 BOO = SMART

The class watched in silence, some leaning forward with wide eyes. Boo whispered dramatically, "He looks like he’s about to summon a demon, not solve math."

Lucien rolled his eyes, but the corner of his mouth twitched.

Felix glanced back at his classmates with a smug look before quickly solving the problem in neat strokes. The chalk squeaked against the board as he wrote the answer with extra flair, finishing it with a little underline.

Alina clapped her hands cheerfully. "Wonderful! See? That was excellent, Felix."

Felix puffed up proudly, his small chest rising as if he had just conquered the world. He tucked the chalk behind his ear like a scholar and smirked at the others. "That’s how it’s done."

Drake groaned dramatically, sliding half off his chair. "Ughhh, show-off."

"Cheater," Luna muttered, folding her arms. "He probably practiced this at home."

"Teacher! Teacher!" Boo waved both arms wildly in the air. "Felix didn’t solve math, he did magic! I saw it! The numbers obeyed him."

Alina chuckled, shaking her head. "No, Boo, he simply used his brain. You all have the same power too, if you just try."

Felix smirked even wider and walked back to his seat like a tiny noble returning from victory, the other babies glaring at him with mock jealousy.

"Next," Alina sang, lifting the chalk again, and the class erupted into chaos once more.

"Sable!" Alina called with a bright smile.

Sable’s cheeks flushed pink as he stood up. He shuffled toward the board and clutched the chalk like it was a sword. The whole class leaned forward, Boo even humming a dramatic tune as if Sable were walking into battle.

Sable carefully solved the problem, his small hand shaking just a little, and then he stepped back, biting his lip.

"Very good, Sable," Alina said warmly, clapping her hands.

Sable gave a shy smile, his eyes shining as he nodded. His shadows even bounced proudly at his feet as if they too were celebrating.

"Who’s next?" Alina laughed in an exaggerated spooky voice, like an evil teacher in a horror game. She curled her fingers like claws for effect, and the babies squealed.

Drake, feeling safe since he had already solved his problem earlier, leaned back in his chair with his chubby arms crossed. "Teacher, teacher, pick Boo. Boo! He’s been pretending to be invisible the whole time."

"Teacher, Luna!" Boo shouted immediately, pointing a glowing finger at the wolf pup hiding under her desk. "She’s hiding. I saw her tail."

"Grrr!" Luna growled, baring her tiny teeth at Boo, her ears flat.

Alina chuckled, shaking her head. "Don’t worry, Luna. Your turn will come."

Rocky was quietly trying to sink lower in his seat, but Drake spotted him. "And Rocky!" Drake cackled, holding his tummy as he laughed. "Even if you turn into a rock, you still have to study! Hahaha! The rocks I’ve seen are all carefree, but you have to solve math problems."

Rocky’s face turned red, and he squeaked, "That’s not fair! Rocks don’t even do math."

The whole class burst out laughing. Boo fell right off his chair, spinning on the floor dramatically. "Help! I’m laughing too much, I can’t breathe."

"Order, order!" Alina tapped the chalk against the board, trying not to laugh herself. "Alright, alright, who’s brave enough to come next? Or do I have to drag someone up here myself?"

The babies gasped in fake horror, their hands flying into the air.

"Nooo, Teacher! Mercy!" Boo cried, rolling on the floor like a dying soldier.

"I’ll faint if I go," Rocky whined, clinging to his desk.

Luna narrowed her eyes. "Call me and I’ll bite Boo instead of doing math."

Drake puffed his chest proudly. "Not me, Teacher, I already did my job. I am officially retired."

Vlad Jr. sighed, flipping his hair dramatically. "What a tragic scene... a noble class reduced to trembling at numbers."

"Okay, since no one is standing up... Lucien." Alina finally called, her tone bright but firm. She knew very well he was the one who never struggled with math, though he pretended to stay quiet.

Lucien’s crimson eyes flickered as the whole class turned toward him. He sighed softly, closed his book, and stood with calm grace. Unlike the others who shuffled nervously, Lucien walked to the board like a little prince on his way to a throne. He picked up the chalk, solved the problem neatly, and stepped back without a single mistake.

Alina’s smile bloomed, her hands coming together in a clap. "Perfect, Lucien!" she praised warmly.

A tiny spark of pride crossed his eyes before he returned to his seat with the same quiet dignity.

But before Alina could even pick another name, Drake suddenly shot his hand in the air and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Teacher, teacher! Next Boo! Call Boo! He’s been hiding behind his chair pretending to be a ghost that can’t do math."

The class erupted into giggles as Boo dramatically peeked his head out, spinning once in the air. "Nooo! Teacher, I’m invisible today. Only tomorrow Boo will be solid enough to write on the board." He twirled again, pretending to vanish, and nearly hit the ceiling.

"Boo," Alina said, trying not to laugh, "come here. Invisible or not, ghosts also solve problems."

"Betrayal!" Boo cried dramatically, pointing at Drake. "My dragon friend has betrayed me to the teacher."

Drake laughed so hard he fell on his desk, his chubby cheeks squished against the desk.

Boo floated dramatically toward the board, his little ghostly form wobbling like he was being dragged to his doom. "Fine, fine... Boo will write. But if Boo faints, it will be your fault, Drake!" he wailed, pointing at the dragon boy, who was still giggling.

He grabbed the chalk with exaggerated flair, holding it like a sword. Instead of solving the problem, Boo scribbled huge, wobbly letters across the board:

BOO = SMART

The class burst into laughter.

"Boo!" Alina gasped, covering her mouth to stop her own laugh. "That’s not the answer!"

"Yes, it is!" Boo argued proudly, puffing his tiny ghost chest. "See? Boo is smart. Problem solved."

"No, no, you’re supposed to solve the math problem," Alina explained gently, pointing to the numbers she had written.
