Chapter 107: On the Shelf Speech and Additional Updates Notice_1

Since the book launch on September 25th, fifty days have passed. Now, it’s finally time for it to go on the shelves. This means I’ll start charging for Chapters, and it also signifies that this book is about to be truly tested.

With the start of charging, I estimate that some readers will leave. However, I believe that other readers will come back. This is because being on the shelves means that there will be more frequent and stable updates compared to the free period.

In these fifty days, I have experienced lows and also felt exhilaration. As a Qidian Xiaobai, I wasn’t very familiar with many of its recommendations. I often asked my editor, Horsetail Whisk, for advice, and I imagine they’re probably tired of my questions by now, haha.

I want to thank the countless readers who have supported me throughout these fifty days. Thank you for accompanying me to this point, and please continue with me on this journey. Your support is my greatest motivation. Every subscription from you is the greatest support for me.

I won’t play the sympathy card. It’s not worth mentioning that I’m struggling to eat well or stay warm, or that I type day and night until my hands ache and I need anti-inflammatory medication. Please support me generously. The initial subscription count is extremely important, and I believe readers understand this, as it relates to the book’s future recommendation spots.

During the new book period, I have also received many insightful comments from readers. I’ve read all your comments and secretly made changes to my content based on them, haha, you probably haven’t noticed.

Now that it’s on the shelves, all I can say is that the upcoming content will be even more exciting. I will slowly unravel some of the mysteries laid out earlier, introduce more characters, and reveal what will become of our journey to the West. Please look forward to it.

Let’s talk about the update schedule, which is probably what most of you are concerned about. Here’s a small promise: Tomorrow (Friday, 11/13), on launch day, at noon, I’ll release an update of 25,000 words. This will be divided into a few Chapters, and it will be at least that much, never less. After tomorrow, Friday, I’ll aim to update about 10,000 words daily, striving to maintain that word count for as long as possible. The updates will be at least 6,000 words daily.

It’s not that I’m lazy; my hands genuinely suffer from tendonitis, and typing is painful. I can only type for a short while before needing to rest. This means a full day of writing takes me about ten hours of actual typing time.

That’s the update schedule. I’ll strive to write better and more. Please support me with a subscription. Your subscriptions are my greatest motivation and support. Leave tomorrow’s update to me; leave tomorrow’s subscription to you.

I’ll say it again: The update tomorrow, Friday, will be at noon. This will be an additional 25,000 words. Thereafter, there will be daily updates of about 10,000 words, and I’ll aim to maintain this for as long as possible.

Oh, and if there are monthly tickets available tomorrow, please cast them for me. I’ve heard they become very important after a book goes on the shelves. Don’t forget about the recommendation tickets either. Thank you all.

Tomorrow, come wind or rain, I’ll wait for you within the pages of the book.
