Chapter 1101 - Void Tribulant, Heart Demon

Xu Zimo and Miss Jing exchanged a glance.

Then he asked, “This shared Airship you mentioned, who’s the other passenger?”

“You’ll know once you arrive,” the overseer replied with a light laugh.

“Looks like someone’s waiting for us,” Xu Zimo chuckled.

Following the overseer, they walked toward what was said to be the last Airship.

“These Airships, who manages them?” Xu Zimo turned to Miss Jing and asked, “The so-called Gongsun Imperial Clan?”

“Gongsun Imperial Clan has long since declined. Now they’re run by Imperial Crown Island,” Miss Jing answered.

“Imperial Crown Island? Their Island Master is Zhou Ming, isn’t he?” Xu Zimo asked.

“You’ve heard of him?” Miss Jing smiled and nodded.

“I know who’s playing tricks here,” Xu Zimo replied calmly.

They followed the overseer aboard the ship, where a lone figure was standing at the prow, waiting quietly.

She gazed ahead, her long hair drifting in the wind.

Her slender figure stood lightly against the breeze, clothed in flowing violet robes.

“Moon-Pluck Fairy,” Miss Jing laughed softly.

“Seems someone has latched onto you.”

“Lord Xu,” Moon-Pluck Fairy turned, her eyes shining like the moon, pure and luminous.

“What a coincidence, meeting again,” Xu Zimo said with a smile.

“Speak your request,” Xu Zimo nodded.

“I’m heading to Brahma City. I want you to keep me safe along the way. What do you say?”

“That’s all?” Xu Zimo looked puzzled.

“Just that simple,” Moon-Pluck Fairy nodded.

“Then let’s go,” Xu Zimo answered.

Though he didn’t understand why Moon-Pluck Fairy would so easily spend her favor on this, he didn’t press the matter.

The vast Airship carried only the three of them.

With a roaring hum, countless spirit crystals were fed into the vessel, dissolving into dense spiritforce.

The ship itself absorbed this aura, before shooting into the void at light speed. A massive white sail unfurled above, catching the ether like a great wing.

After the roaring acceleration lasted for quite some time, the ship finally steadied.

Xu Zimo looked around, the clouds seemed within reach, mist rolling everywhere, the sky a sea of white.

Though accompanied by two stunning women, Xu Zimo felt no distractions.

He returned to his cabin to cultivate.

Since his brush with death, his comprehension had deepened.

He felt he was on the verge of breaking through, from the Yin-Yang Stage into the Void Tribulant Stage.

In the endless void he had created for cultivation, God Crystals glittered in the distance. Xu Zimo sat calm, shrouded in misty energy.

Within him, the Yin-Yang Bridge flickered, two opposing forces clashing and flowing across it.

Above the bridge stretched a patch of darkness, a void.

This void existed within his body.

It was known as the Heavenly Void, located near the abdomen, beside the God-Soul.

The human body itself is profound beyond measure.

Even just the known acupoints number in the tens of thousands.

And as cultivation deepens, new hidden points slowly emerge.

But not every meridian or acupoint can be used.

The body is like a vast treasure, waiting for careful excavation.

The opening of meridian gates follows this same principle.

And this Heavenly Void is one of those inaccessible spaces.

Only by refining this Heavenly Void, linking meridians and acupoints, can one form countless minor and major energy cycles.

At this moment, as Xu Zimo meditated, the Heavenly Void within him was shrouded by a mass of baleful infernal energy. The energy devoured the void.

Slowly, but effectively.

Beside the Heavenly Void, Xu Zimo’s God-Soul condensed into a tiny figure.

The figure was his exact likeness, only hundreds of times smaller.

When it opened its mouth, it swallowed spiritforce like a whale drinking the sea.

Its eyes glimmered with divinity, surrounded by visions of various Nomological Truths, surging like tides.

A Void Tribulant must open thirty-three thousand three hundred and thirty-three (33,333) acupoints,

and connect thirty-three thousand three hundred and thirty-three (33,333) meridians.

On the God-Soul’s tiny body, countless points of light appeared. With each extinguished point, the Heavenly Void was further consumed by infernal energy.

As the void shrank, Xu Zimo’s aura swelled, demonic clouds roiled around him, Dao Resonance thickened, violet mist radiated.

The Void Tribulant Stage was within reach.

Just then, the void around him rippled.

“Lord Xu, something’s happening outside. Come quickly,” Miss Jing’s voice echoed.

Xu Zimo frowned slightly.

But he remained unmoved, he was at the most crucial moment of breakthrough. Stopping now would harm his foundation.

Miss Jing’s voice grew louder.

“Lord Xu, wake up!”

Her image suddenly appeared before him in the void.

She stood there, beginning to shed her clothes.

“Lord Xu, do I look beautiful to you?”

Xu Zimo snorted coldly. Within his inner God Beast, Chaos thrust out its colossal head and devoured her in a single bite.

“A Heart Demon,” Xu Zimo said flatly.

Heart Demons are illusions that appear when cultivators seek enlightenment.

Since ancient times, countless practitioners have perished under them.

In truth, at the very end, a cultivator’s greatest enemy is not Heavenly Tribulation but the Heart Demon.

The one Xu Zimo faced now was the weakest form, manifestations born of greed, lust, and desire.

But in time, they would grow stronger, piercing directly into a person’s deepest, most unbearable truths.

And many would be utterly consumed.

As the Heavenly Void was completely refined, a stronger aura surged from Xu Zimo’s body.

Storm winds rose, the void quaked.

He clenched his fist, and space itself froze solid. Crackling sounds echoed through his body,

signs of meridians connecting.

As if rivers long divided by chasms were now bridged.

More and more meridians aligned.

Xu Zimo waved his hand and stepped out from the void.

He opened his cabin door. Miss Jing and Moon-Pluck Fairy were in the lounge, chatting as the ship sailed steadily onward.

“Finished cultivating?” Miss Jing turned and smiled at him.

“Where were you just now?” Xu Zimo asked.
