"Lily, come back quickly!" Cao Dewang shouted lewdly from the doorway.
"Hmph!" Ge Lili snorted disdainfully, turning away and ignoring him.
He waved his hands frantically, "Lily, hurry up!"
"Shouting and shouting, why aren't you so capable outside?" Ge Lili grumbled, pouting as she walked back.
She reached the doorway and called back, "Big Black, you behave yourself. If you bark again, I'll slaughter you for the New Year and eat dog meat!"
Lin Fan, already possessing keen hearing, could clearly understand their conversation even without using his special abilities.
"There really is something going on!" Lin Fan's worldview was severely shaken.
"Cao Dewang really is involved with his daughter-in-law!"
"How did they get together?" Lin Fan found it unbelievable. After all, Ge Lili was considered the village beauty! Didn't she find this disgusting?
Lin Fan calmed his thoughts. The key now was how to get evidence.
Suddenly, Lin Fan noticed a discarded bicycle wheel in a makeshift shed in front of someone's house. Years of wind and rain had rusted half the rim, and a row of sharp spokes pointed straight upwards.
"Got it." Lin Fan bent down, ran over, and forcefully pried off several spokes.
He then held a spoke between his index and middle fingers, channeling his purple energy. "Go!" With his command, a "swish" sound was heard, and the spoke shot out like an arrow, embedding itself in a willow tree about three meters away.
"This should be about right." Lin Fan muttered, then walked over and pulled the spoke out. It had penetrated at least ten centimeters deep!
"It's done." Lin Fan estimated the distance from there to Cao's courtyard.
"This is it." Lin Fan took a deep breath and charged forward.
*Clatter!* A sound of rattling chains rang out. The Tibetan Mastiff burst from its kennel, spotting Lin Fan's fleeting form. To ensure success, Lin Fan shot out three spokes at once.
*Swish swish swish!* Three whistling sounds cut through the air. The Tibetan Mastiff had no time to react; before it could even bark, two of the spokes struck its head. The third one veered slightly, deflected by broken glass on the wall, and its destination was unknown.
"Whimpers..." After a few low moans, the Tibetan Mastiff thudded to the ground, twitched a few times, and died.
Seeing this, Lin Fan immediately channeled his purple energy to his legs and leaped. "A dog that bullies others deserves its fate. Taking its life is no injustice." Lin Fan soared over the two-meter-high wall as if he were flying, landing steadily behind the kennel.
He then channeled his purple energy to his ears and began to listen to the conversation inside.
"Did I hear something outside?" Ge Lili's voice was tinged with fear.
"Don't be so paranoid. Yun'er won't be back until the afternoon at the earliest," Cao Dewang's voice was urgent.
"I must have owed you two a debt in my past life. Serving your son wasn't enough, now I have to serve you, you old fossil." Ge Lili complained.
"The older, the more flavorful," Cao Dewang shamelessly declared, devoid of any moral compass.
Hearing this, Lin Fan's heart finally settled. He pulled out his phone, tiptoed, slowed his breathing, and crept forward step by step.
"You like to stir up trouble, don't you? I'll record you and expose you!" Lin Fan turned on his video recording, quietly approaching the ground-floor window. He watched the screen, while also remaining vigilant of his surroundings.
Ge Lili and Cao Dewang sat on the sofa with their backs to the window. After a brief period of intimacy, Cao Dewang grabbed Ge Lili and urged, "Lily, let's hurry. We can take a bath later."
A flicker of disgust crossed Ge Lili's eyes as she lay down motionlessly. Cao Dewang paid no mind. Since he had his way three months ago while drunk, he had become insatiable. Ge Lili had never told anyone, choosing to endure it in silence. Cao Dewang, having tasted the forbidden fruit, grew bolder and bolder, reaching a point of utter shamelessness.
With his shirt off and a lecherous glint in his eyes, he whispered, "Come on, my little darling."
Ge Lili twisted her body, pushed his arm away, and complained, "Old man, you only have the energy at a time like this."
Cao Dewang paused and said gently, "Lily, don't be angry. I'm the one in charge in Luofeng Village."
"You just watch. I'll make sure that Lin kid suffer a fate worse than death."
Ge Lili rolled her eyes. "All talk, no action."
"Talk? Just wait and see. If I don't ruin his family, then I've been the village party secretary for nothing all these years!" He became restless again. "Lily, let's forget about that for now, and continue."
His words made Lin Fan clench his teeth. "Ruin my family? I'll ruin your reputation! The entire family's reputation!" Lin Fan hid outside cautiously, watching the scene unfold on his screen.
After recording for over ten minutes, the couple inside finished their "battle." Fearing discovery, Lin Fan immediately put away his phone and tiptoed away. He repeated his earlier maneuver, channeling purple energy to his legs, sprinting about five to six meters, and then leaping lightly.
"Is this considered Qinggong?" Lin Fan felt a surge of pride. Then, his jaw dropped and his eyes widened.
"Teacher Edo?" Lin Fan saw Edo Yuki in mid-air and nearly fell flat on his face upon landing.
"Be careful!" Edo Yuki instinctively steadied him.
Lin Fan's expression was awkward, unsure of what to say.
"Why are you here?"
"You just..." Both spoke at the same time, then stopped simultaneously. The atmosphere became even more awkward.
Worried about being discovered by the Cao family, Lin Fan urgently grabbed her delicate hand. "Come with me first. This is not a place to talk."
Edo Yuki, not yet fully aware of what was happening, was pulled along by Lin Fan. Lin Fan didn't run too fast, but even so, Edo Yuki had to move her long legs quickly to keep up. *This boy, can't he be gentler?* Being pulled by a young, not-yet-fully-matured boy made Edo Yuki feel awkward, but she couldn't do anything about it. *This boy has so much strength!*
They continued running until they reached the main road, where Lin Fan finally stopped.
"Just now..." Lin Fan turned around, realizing he was still holding Edo Yuki's hand. He immediately bowed and apologized, "I'm sorry, Teacher Edo, my apologies." As he spoke, he retracted his hand. This was in broad daylight; if anyone saw, the news would spread like wildfire.
Edo Yuki glanced at him shyly, mentally grumbling, *Clueless, a blockhead.*
"What I was doing just now, jumping out from there, there's a reason for it. Please don't tell anyone, okay, Teacher Edo?" Lin Fan looked at Edo Yuki's pure and sweet face, unable to bring himself to tell her about the sinful deeds.
