Chapter 143: Chapter 143 New Begin
Freya
The moment Silvano’s apartment door closed behind us. My back hit the wall as his mouth claimed mine, demanding and possessive in a way that made Artemis howl with approval inside me.
"I’ve been wanting to do this all night," Silvano growled against my lips, his hands already working at the buttons of my blouse. "Seeing that worthless man put his hands on you..." His eyes flashed dangerous gold. "It took everything I had not to tear him apart."
Unlike Jasper, who always maintained careful control, Silvano made no attempt to hide his desire. There was something incredibly freeing about being wanted so openly, so fiercely, after years of being a shameful secret.
"You don’t have to hold back with me," I whispered, boldly reaching for his belt.
Silvano’s response was immediate. He lifted me effortlessly, my legs wrapping around his waist as he carried me toward the bedroom. "I intend to make you forget every man who came before me," he promised, his voice rough with need. "Especially Kane."
We barely made it to the bed, leaving a trail of discarded clothing in our wake. Silvano’s powerful body covered mine, his muscles tensing under my exploring hands. Every inch of him radiated dominance and raw strength, yet there was something in his touch—a reverence, a tenderness—that caught me by surprise.
"You’re exquisite," he murmured, his lips tracing a burning path down my throat. "Every part of you."
Unlike the hurried, almost businesslike encounters with Jasper, Silvano took his time, mapping my body with the dedicated attention of a man memorizing territory he intended to claim permanently. His hands and mouth seemed to discover sensitive places I hadn’t known existed, drawing responses from me I’d never experienced before.
When his fingers slid between my thighs, finding me already desperate for him, the approving rumble in his chest made Artemis whine with anticipation.
"So responsive," he praised, circling the most sensitive part of me with maddening precision. "Tell me what you want, Freya."
Words failed me as pleasure built under his skilled touch. I could only arch against him, my nails digging into his shoulders.
"Use your words," Silvano commanded, the Alpha in his voice impossible to ignore. "I want to hear you say it."
"You," I gasped, abandoning pride. "I want you, Silvano. Please."
His smile was pure predator. "As you wish."
When he finally pushed inside me, the sensation was overwhelming—a perfect fullness that had me crying out his name. Silvano stilled, giving me time to adjust, his forehead pressed against mine as our ragged breaths mingled.
"Look at me," he demanded softly.
I opened my eyes to find his intense gaze locked on mine, something profound and unspoken passing between us. Then he began to move.
His pace carried the unmistakable possessiveness of an Alpha, powerful and commanding, yet there was an unexpected patience in the way he watched my reactions, adjusting to draw out my pleasure. Every roll of his hips was punctuated with words of praise that made me flush with desire.
"Perfect," he groaned. "So perfect for me."
I lost myself in the building wave of sensation, dimly aware that I was moaning his name like a prayer, something I’d never allowed myself with Jasper. Our bodies moved together with an instinctive synchronicity that felt almost like fate—as though we’d been designed for each other.
Silvano’s lips found my ear, his voice a husky whisper. "You’ll eventually be mine completely," he promised, the words sending shivers down my spine. "Not just on paper. Not just in my bed." His hips drove deeper, emphasizing each word. "Your heart. Your soul. Your wolf. All mine."
Inside me, Artemis responded with a soft, submissive whine—not the reluctant acquiescence she’d shown with Jasper, but an eager recognition. My wolf, who had always maintained a wary distance with others, was embracing Silvano’s claim without hesitation.
The realization struck me even as pleasure began to spiral through my body—what was happening between us went far beyond our arranged marriage contract. This wasn’t merely convenient or strategic anymore. The feelings building in my chest were dangerous, powerful things that threatened the careful walls I’d constructed after years of loving Jasper.
As if sensing my thoughts, Silvano’s movements became more intense, driving me higher until coherent thought was impossible. His hands gripped my hips, angling me perfectly as he whispered encouragements that were half-human, half-wolf.
"Let go for me," he commanded. "I’ve got you. Let go."
My release hit with stunning force, waves of pleasure crashing through me as I cried out his name. Silvano followed moments later, his powerful body shuddering against mine as he growled possessively against my throat.
In the aftermath, as our breathing slowed and our bodies cooled, Silvano didn’t pull away as Jasper always had. Instead, he gathered me close, my head resting on his chest where I could hear the strong, steady beat of his heart. His fingers traced idle patterns on my bare skin, sending pleasant aftershocks through my sensitized nerves.
"Stay with me tonight," he murmured, pressing a kiss to my temple.
"What about Stone Lake? I should be back before—"
"Before Kane notices you’re gone?" Silvano’s voice hardened slightly. "Let him wonder. Let him realize what he’s lost."
I sighed, torn between practicality and the undeniable comfort of Silvano’s arms. "It’s not that simple. Until the transition is complete, I have responsibilities. Commitments."
Silvano shifted, propping himself on one elbow to look down at me. His expression was serious, searching. "You’re still loyal to him, even after everything."
"Not to him," I corrected, meeting his gaze. "To the pack. To the people who depend on me."
Something softened in his eyes. "Your sense of duty is one of the many things I admire about you." He captured my hand, pressing a kiss to my palm. "But remember, your loyalty to Stone Lake ends in four weeks. Then you belong with Crescent Moon." His voice dropped to a possessive rumble. "With me."
Artemis stirred at his words, responding with unmistakable approval. My wolf, who had been my truest companion through years of heartache, seemed to be telling me something important—something I wasn’t quite ready to acknowledge.
"One night," I conceded, settling back against him. "I’ll stay tonight."
Silvano’s arms tightened around me, and I felt the tension leave his body.
