The shell was covered in intricate patterns. Chen Tian's eyes met those of the creature before him. The scorpion roared and immediately attacked Chen Tian, its eyes glowing scarlet. Chen Tian didn't hesitate to counter, his palms extending to collide with the creature's pincers. The impact sent waves of energy rolling, shaking the plain and causing the ground for a hundred miles around to crack and collapse. Chen Tian gritted his teeth, enduring the immense force.

Chen Tian spoke calmly. He was using all his might, yet in this clash of strength, he was at a disadvantage. The creature's power was no small matter. But why had it attacked him on sight, and in such a rage?

A figure emerged from the vortex, a young boy. This was the Heavenly Dao of the Dark Realm.
"Enough, Yuan Scorpion. I summoned you here for assistance, not to cause trouble."
The Heavenly Dao spoke coldly. The ongoing battle had attracted its attention. Yuan Scorpion replied with indifference, "Is this how you ask for help? I've just arrived, and a group of humans stole an egg from me. How can I help you unless you help me get it back?"

Yuan Scorpion said this and left in a hurry. The ground trembled, and Chen Tian had a premonition that the task assigned to him in the Dark Realm might be related to the place the Heavenly Dao and others mentioned.
