The clock hanging on the wall emitted an incessant "tick-tock" sound; it had been ten minutes since Nora Northwood left.
Annie’s sharp sixth sense told her that something might be wrong.
"Excuse me for a moment." Saying this, she walked briskly out of the meeting room.
Yvonne Winslow also discreetly broke into a sweat.

Megan Underwood was helping search together. "Nora, are you sure you didn’t remember the sample placement incorrectly?"
