Chapter 183: Nora Northwood Pushes Rachel Woodward

Chapter 183: Chapter 183: Nora Northwood Pushes Rachel Woodward

None of them gave Jade Lockwood a second thought after this little incident.

Nora Northwood got up to go to the bathroom, not expecting to meet Rachel Woodward there.

She was a little wary, since this woman had intentions towards Jasper Sinclair and they were considered rivals. Meeting her now certainly wouldn’t bode well.

"What a coincidence, Miss Northwood." Rachel Woodward smiled faintly, not moving. She knew Jasper Sinclair wasn’t a fool, and having a direct confrontation with Nora Northwood wasn’t a wise move.

"Mm." She responded lightly and, after washing her hands, was about to head back.

The mishap happened in an instant. Just as Nora Northwood reached the door, she didn’t notice a small puddle of water on the floor. Even though she tried to slow down, she still leaned forward.

Rachel Woodward’s eyes moved, stepping forward to pretend she was trying to catch her, but actually pulling her. The two of them ended up rolling together.

Nora Northwood couldn’t even react before Rachel Woodward was pinned beneath her.

This wasn’t light. Rachel Woodward lay on the ground pale-faced, holding her arm.

She had keenly noticed someone watching them just then, and a corner of her lips curled. She wanted to see what Nora Northwood could possibly explain this time.

"Quick, call an ambulance! Someone’s hurt!"

Someone reacted and rushed over to check the situation.

Since Rachel Woodward was underneath Nora Northwood, she wasn’t hurt at all.

After the ambulance arrived, it took Rachel Woodward to the hospital.

Nora Northwood went back to inform a few people and quickly followed. Megan Underwood, worried, sent a message to Jasper Sinclair and then hurried over too.

The Woodward Family received the news and rushed over in a panic.

Lynn Woodward also came over with the Woodward Family this time.

Fortunately, Rachel Woodward wasn’t hurt elsewhere; just her arm was fractured and needed some time to heal.

"You are indeed too much woman, what did my Rachel do to you for you to be so cruel!"

"Truly a heart of a snake and scorpion! The old lady was fooled by you."

The Woodward Family didn’t care what the reason was, they started scolding as soon as they arrived.

Lynn Woodward didn’t forget to sneer from the sidelines: "Some people, even if they lack a sense of security, shouldn’t hurt others. People say families should match, how could you be the Sinclair Family’s daughter-in-law?"

Hearing her stir things up, Mrs. Woodward, Yvonne Shepherd, became even angrier.

Just then, Rachel Woodward was pushed out of the emergency room.

"Mom, don’t blame Miss Northwood. I accidentally fell; she didn’t push me."

If she hadn’t spoken, it would have been better, but those words made Yvonne’s anger more intense.

"You’re just too kind-hearted, still speaking for her after everything. Who pushed you if not her? The restaurant saw it; you fell and she fell right after, without a scratch on her. What can she possibly argue!"

A mother’s heart aches for her child, seeing Rachel Woodward weakly lying in bed, her heart almost twisted.

Yet the instigator was perfectly fine.

The more she thought, the angrier she became, she stepped forward intending to slap Nora Northwood.

In the next second, her hand was halted by a strong force, and she was immediately pushed aside.

Jasper Sinclair looked coldly, his gaze towards Yvonne Shepherd and James Woodward filled with chill.

A sharp glance to the side spotted his second aunt, his lips curled up, a bloodthirsty smile emerging.

"Second Aunt is quite idle, meddling in others’ affairs when having time. Better go home and manage Jenson Sinclair properly, so things aren’t left unmanageable when trouble arises."

These words seemed like a warning, and Lynn Woodward’s body trembled fiercely.
