Chapter 94: Chapter 94: Interested in Her

Jasper Sinclair was sitting in the master’s house when he learned that Nora Northwood had resolved the issue.

"What, are you interested in that young girl?" Elaine asked subconsciously as she saw him repeatedly watching the replay of the live broadcast.

After all these years, she had never seen this lad so attentive to anyone.

His gaze flickered as he gave a dry reply, "Just interested, that’s all."

Elaine chuckled softly, "You’re just shy of having the words ’I care’ written all over your face."

Knowing that the master had already noticed something, he sighed helplessly and explained their relationship clearly.

After listening to him, Elaine’s reaction was no different from Grandma Sinclair’s, thinking this silly kid would realize how ridiculous he was later on.

Shaking his head with a sigh, he didn’t know what to say.

She handed him a small box from her side, "Are you still having trouble sleeping? Take this sachet with you. If you still can’t sleep well, just place it beside your pillow."

After saying this, the master took a sip of tea, looking at him with a bit of heartache in her eyes.

Jasper took the sachet and then left.

That night, he clutched the sachet given by the master, feeling slightly dazed.

Since when did he stop needing this? Probably since Nora entered his life. Although they hadn’t slept in the same room, those nightmares never plagued him again.

Subconsciously, he curved his lips into a slight smile, carefully putting the sachet away, thinking he might never need it again.

The next morning, watching the busy Nora in front of him, he suddenly said, "Now that the business is getting better, your manpower alone can’t handle it. Why not consider using machines?"

If the machines were too large, the cost would be prohibitive, but small ones wouldn’t be a burden for Nora at this point.

Carefully considering his proposal, Nora found it quite reasonable too.

"If you’ve made up your mind, let me know, I... I have a client who is in this line of business. I can introduce you."

He almost said his company could handle it, but luckily he reacted quickly.

Nora nodded, not noticing his unusual behavior just now.

...

After VK became renowned, the invitations to parties followed one after another.

Unlike before, when she had to rely on others to get invitations, now the hosts were sending them directly to her.

Every now and then, someone would come over to chat with her, which gave Nora a somewhat strange feeling.

"What are you thinking?" Vincent Morgan walked over with a glass of wine, handing her one, "Congratulations on establishing your own brand."

Raising his glass, he took a sip first to express his congratulations.

Nora nodded her thanks and took a small sip as well.

Her alcohol tolerance wasn’t particularly high, so she didn’t drink much.

"Does Mr. Morgan often attend such parties?" She was surprised to encounter Vincent here but made sure to keep distance to avoid any gossip.

"Yes, since the Morgan Family is involved in this field, as the heir, of course, I have to engage more."

He looked at the petite woman beside him with some helplessness.

For some reason, ever since the last party, he had developed different thoughts.

The arranged matchmaking at home made him instinctively compare them to Nora.

His feelings were uncontrollable, but his upbringing told him that liking is just liking after all, especially since she belonged to someone else.

From the second floor, Jasper Sinclair sipped his red wine with discontent.

The handsome couple downstairs were indeed a sight for sore eyes, but how he wished that woman wasn’t his wife!
