Chapter 100: A Deeper Relationship

Chapter 100: Chapter 100: A Deeper Relationship

One hour earlier.

At the party hosted by The Sinclair Group, Jasper Sinclair made his usual brief appearance.

"President Sinclair, I have something going on at home. Can I leave a bit early?" Louis Hayes said, somewhat troubled.

Waving his hand, Jasper Sinclair didn’t stop him.

Everyone here at tonight’s party was an acquaintance, so he didn’t have much to worry about.

Louis Hayes looked at him gratefully, then hurriedly left.

As soon as he left, Wendy Bell moved in close.

"President Sinclair, I brought you a drink. Your other glass is almost empty," she said softly, with no other expression on her face, as if this action was simply out of goodwill.

But who was Jasper Sinclair? A sharp-witted person like him couldn’t possibly give her a chance.

"No need, I’ll get it myself," he said, frowning, and then signaled to a nearby waiter to get himself a new drink.

Just then, a business partner came over to discuss business matters, and he acknowledged them with a raised glass.

After chatting for a while, the man glanced at Wendy Bell, who had been standing by Jasper’s side, and showed a bit of amusement in his eyes. "President Sinclair, you’re quite fortunate."

At first, Jasper was taken aback, and it took him a moment to realize the implication. With a dark expression, he responded, "You’ve got it wrong."

The partner paused, realizing he’d misspoken, and quickly hurried away.

Jasper took a sip of his drink, seeing that nothing else was happening, he was about to return to the lounge. But then his body started to feel oddly warm, his mind foggy, prompting a curse from within.

How exactly did I get caught?

Seeing his condition, Wendy Bell hurried over. "President Sinclair, are you feeling unwell? Let me help you to rest."

Jasper’s mind was still there; he gave her a strong push. Despite his body being somewhat out of control, he still looked coldly at the woman in front of him.

"Did you drug me?"

"What is President Sinclair talking about? I don’t understand. I just know that President Sinclair has a need now, and I happen to be able to fulfill it," she smiled seductively.

But Jasper just sneered, "Fulfilling my needs? That depends on whether I’m willing."

Using all his strength to push her away, he shook his head, trying to stay awake.

He got on the elevator and went directly to his suite on the third floor.

By the time Wendy Bell caught up, he was already inside the room.

Stomping her feet in anger, she was furious that she had almost succeeded.

As she was about to leave, the door behind her opened, and a man pulled her into the room. "Hey beautiful, I’ve been watching you stand outside for a while. Are you here to provide services?"

The man was greasy-looking, and just being in contact with him made Wendy Bell feel nauseated. She tried to shake off his hand but couldn’t.

"Come on now, save your strength for later," he said.

With panic in her eyes, she looked at her situation. "Bastard, let go of me!"

But in the end, even her minimal efforts to resist were overpowered by the man.

She wanted to offer herself up, but not like this.

Meanwhile, in room 302 two doors away, Nora Northwood was being kissed into a daze, and she was almost losing track of where she was.

It wasn’t until a burning presence pressed against her that she woke up.

Rationality told her this wasn’t right; she and Mr. Sinclair shouldn’t be like this.

"Mr. Sinclair, wake up. It’s Nora. I’ll take you to the hospital if you’re feeling unwell," she urged.

But the man had already lost his senses due to the drug and couldn’t hear her, or perhaps the moment he called her, his rationality had already been suppressed.

The physical strength difference between them left her unable to resist at all.

The atmosphere instantly became intensely intimate.
