Chapter 152: Chapter 152: A Good Show to Put On

Lynn nodded in agreement. Rachel had more ideas than she did, so she decided to follow Rachel’s lead on this matter.

"You go back now, don’t ask too much in the coming days. I’ll head to my brother’s company to discuss some matters with him."

With that, she drove off to Jenson’s place.

Arriving at the office upstairs, she was slightly taken aback upon seeing Wendy Bell.

"Miss, you don’t have an appointment..." Wendy, now devoid of her previous temper, softly stopped her.

"I’m your President’s sister, step aside." Rachel had no good attitude towards her.

Looking at her, it was obvious – she definitely wanted to fly up and become a phoenix.

According to her aunt, this woman used to follow Jasper Sinclair, probably failed to seduce him, and ended up here.

That’s why she had no good impression of Wendy Bell at all.

Wendy bit her lip and silently stepped aside.

Forget it, her current situation didn’t suit getting into conflicts.

Rachel sneered and stepped into the office.

"Brother, Aunt’s right. Why do you keep this woman around? Just look at her, she’s nothing good."

Before even entering, she disdainfully spoke without caring if people outside could hear her.

Wendy’s face turned dark; she struggled to restrain herself from rushing inside and slapping the woman twice.

How was she not good?

A faint pain came from her lower abdomen; her face turned pale, and she sat back in her seat for a while before returning to normal.

Inside the room, Jenson Sinclair did not refute her words.

"Keeping her around has some use, after all." He shrugged, looking at his sister: "Right now is a crucial time for the tender process. She surely understands The Sinclair Group’s approach, but why are you here today?"

He looked at Rachel, his usual smile on his face, yet the feeling was it didn’t reach his eyes.

Frustrated, she tossed her bag onto the couch. Only in front of this brother could she act spoiled like a little girl.

"You have no idea; your family’s old lady has got her eyes covered. I told her all about Nora Northwood’s mess, and she said she doesn’t care?"

The more she talked, the angrier she got. She even relayed today’s events.

Upon mentioning that Nora’s biological mother didn’t know Jasper’s identity, Jenson’s eyes lit up.

"Doesn’t know his identity?" He rubbed his chin, suddenly coming up with a good idea.

"Brother, how can you still smile when I’ve been bullied like this?" Rachel pouted unhappily, acting coquettishly.

"There, there, no need to worry. You don’t have to do anything next; it seems Sinclair Family is in for quite a show."

He was truly looking forward to what surprises this sister-in-law’s family might bring.

Although Rachel didn’t fully understand, she refrained from asking further, seeing Jenson’s reaction. Surely, there was a reason.

And indeed, things unfolded just as Jenson Sinclair predicted.

Early next morning, Southwood Court was noisily chaotic.

Quentin Ford and May Lawrence brought Spencer Ford to the neighborhood entrance, causing a commotion nonstop.

To be more precise, Quentin himself was causing the fuss.

All his words were accusations against Nora Northwood, saying she married into a good family yet deliberately kept it from them, even denouncing the Sinclair Family for being large and influential but only giving an engagement gift of $18,800.

Nora, hearing this at home, felt her anger rising, wanting to open the door and go down, but Jasper Sinclair held her, shaking his head.

"Don’t rush, let them go crazy for a bit." A gleam flashed in his eyes, then he looked down at her: "You said this stepfather of yours usually doesn’t treat you well, right? So, what about your mother?"
