Chapter 59: Chapter 59
"My, how they drop mystery after mystery, and make me leave when they are going to devise the strategy, isn’t it a premeditated attack to leave something hanging, especially What is an abyssal summoning?", Mart kept thinking as he walked into the nearby corridors, with a sky that announced that night would be coming shortly.
-Mart!
He turned around when he heard her name, it was Nely, who showed a sad and somber face, Mart upon seeing her shook his head and walked away, for him, she no longer had space in his life.
[Haughty trait activated]
[Breaking the illusion of a beautiful and pure young woman: demonic reward].
Mart saw the notification, and heard a sad moan, but still he did not look back.
"I’m a demon, I don’t have to be lenient!" , was the thought with which Mart walked through the corridors. His footsteps echoed, until his stomach roared at that moment he remembered that Nirian’s follower interrupted him just as he was preparing to buy a meal, and added to that, due to the seriousness of the topic that arose between those two important figures of the demonic realm, his chance to order cake or food became nonexistent.
"I think I’ll try my luck," Mart headed towards the cafeteria, but when he arrived it was closed, "it was almost obvious," after that disappointment he walked back down the halls now to head for the male dorms.
Arriving in front of the door to his room he found the door open.
"That must be Iristel," he thought the moment he entered the room. But who he saw was Selis who was sitting in the chair in front of the desk. He was a little surprised, looked at his desk and saw a note.
Mart walked in and asked Selis:
-Were you that worried?
Mart smiled subtly, he was pleased with how beautiful and tender Selis was. He sat on the edge of his bed and took off the blue tunic he wore over his uniform. At that moment Selis threw herself into his arms and hugged him tightly hiding her face in his chest.
Mart hugged her and stroked her green hair.
-Don’t worry, I won’t die so easily; I still have a lot of things to do.
Mart lay down still hugging Selis, she trembled and he asked her:
-Are you afraid of me?
-No," she answered without looking at him.
At that moment Mart’s stomach roared again.
-Have you not eaten? -Selis asked in his shy voice and looked at Mart.
Her eyes were a little sore from crying, but the tears stayed on Mart’s uniform shirt.
-Yes, that’s just the way it goes. -Mart said jokingly.
-You should eat...
-I have you, you would be an exquisite dish. -Mart said, interrupting her.-Mart said interrupting her.
Mart hugged her again when he saw that her face paled and said to her:
-Go back to Asfil.
-I want to stay. -She said.
-What will you do if I don’t control myself? -he asked.
She looked at Mart with a tender look and said:
-I trust you.
Mart let go of Selis and she took out a green demon potion from a bag and told him:
-It is a nourishing potion that strengthens the physique. It will help you.
"Wow, that’s just like an alchemist," Mart thought as he took the potion in his hands to drink it immediately, and within seconds the hunger disappeared.
"If it weren’t for the bitter taste, I’d say it’s great," Mart looked at Selis and said:
I appreciate it.
After that, he went to the bathroom, and when he came out he saw Selis a little nervous, she said to him:
-I’m going... I’m going to take a bath, don’t peek.
He nodded and sat down at the desk to start writing down in a notebook what he thought was relevant in that meeting.
"Abyssal invocations", was the last thing he wrote down that night.
Mart put the notebook away and Selis came out shortly thereafter wearing unrevealing pajamas, consisting of a long-sleeved yellow shirt and white pants. She looked at him shyly, he got up and took her by the hand and guided her to the bed, she laid her head on his chest and he hugged her gently. Mart began to look at the ceiling and thought of dozens of demonic symbols which then turned into hundreds and then into cursed diagrams, and so he was getting an idea of why his cursed diagrams had not reached the desired efficiency. When he looked at Selis she was sleeping peacefully.
"When you’re ready, it’ll be great," Mart thought as he looked at Selis’ beautiful, tender face. As he was unable to sleep in the end, with just over an hour to sunrise, he got ready in sports clothes to go out for training.
Before leaving he said goodbye to Selis and when he returned he found Iristel sitting on the edge of the bed.
-It seems that nothing happened. -Iristel said with a flirtatious smile. -Do you want something to happen?
Iristel stroked her own thigh covered by the black stockings provocatively, Mart thought about it and told her:
-In the evening. If you wish. -Mart said as he took off his sportswear. -I need you to do me a favor.
-Whatever you want.
Mart took out a sheet of paper and began to write on the desk, then handed it to Iristel.
-Give it to Menna.
Iristel nodded, after which Mart went into the bathroom, then headed for the classroom. As he walked he watched discreetly to see if there had been any change in the environment that would expose Principal Persec’s actions, but was satisfied to see that all seemed to be quiet.
Back in the classroom, while Selis was conversing with Asfil, he overheard some classmates mooting that one of their friends named Megzer had become ill having taken a potion to master an elemental demonic magic with which he was unfamiliar.
"Megzer, he was slightly corroded by the demon god’s energy, apparently they are informing me that they started investigating," Mart thought after listening to his classmates.
