Chapter 233 Two Tokens

Spark, having obtained the token, was pleased to have completed the task assigned by his boss. He was even more delighted at the prospect of a reward, perhaps some more of that wine, which might help him reach the late stage of the God-King realm!

Then, he would become the Dragon Emperor. The thought sent a pair of strange chuckles escaping Spark's lips, startling a flock of sea beasts!

However, upon reaching the shore, Spark was bewildered. He had no idea where to find his boss!

Soon, though, he set off towards the Undying Volcano. His boss was headed there, and perhaps he could wait for him there!

At this very moment, Li Er and his companions had arrived at the Undying Volcano. Numerous caves dotted the landscape, and it was within these caves that dwarves generally resided. Of course, there were dwarves scattered across the continent as well, but this was the largest gathering. King Sugre of the dwarves was located here!

Thus, the Undying Volcano was also the sacred land of all dwarf clans!

Currently, Tarroc, a dwarf in the group, felt a pang of nervousness. The great being had finally arrived. He hoped his king, Sugre, wouldn't act foolishly! The thought prompted Tarroc to believe he needed to inform his king beforehand about the great being's illustrious achievements. Perhaps then, his king would make a sound decision!

With that, Tarroc quickly said, "Great being, I shall go find our king and have him deliver the token!"

Li Er glanced at Tarroc and nodded. If it could be resolved simply, he wouldn't object!

So, Tarroc darted off, running towards the interior of the Undying Volcano!

Soon, Tarroc was stopped. After all, Sugre was the king of all dwarves, not someone anyone could just meet, especially given Tarroc's relatively weak strength!

"Quickly, report to the king! I have a matter of grave importance concerning the survival of our entire clan. Hurry!" Tarroc urged!

One of the dwarf guards was taken aback. Had Tarroc hit his head? While the dwarves weren't the strongest race, they had God-Kings among them; their annihilation wouldn't be easy!

Seeing the guard still dazed, Tarroc grew impatient and roared, "Hurry and report! If you delay this matter, can you bear the responsibility?"

The guard was jolted by the shout and then hurried inside. As for what the king would say later, that was no longer his concern. This fellow had better not speak nonsense, or he'd be begging for death!

"Your Majesty, a dwarf named Tarroc has arrived, claiming to have a matter of grave importance regarding the survival of our dwarf clan to report!" the guard said quickly upon seeing Sugre!

Sugre was surprised. Since becoming a God-King, he had never heard such words. He pondered for a moment and then said, "Let him in!" Sugre was curious to hear how their dwarf clan's very survival was at stake!

Soon, Tarroc was summoned in!

Upon seeing Sugre, Tarroc bowed and then said, "Your Majesty, a great being has taken a liking to our dwarf clan's token. Just two days ago, he soundly defeated the human race's foremost expert, Grand Mage Glenn!"

Sugre, who was drinking water, sputtered it out. He had already been quite angered by the news that someone desired their dwarf clan's token, but the latter part of the statement left him speechless!

Glenn, the human race's foremost expert; he had met him and witnessed Glenn's prowess. He considered himself no match, and that he might even be utterly crushed by Glenn. It was only because the dwarf race and the human race had always been allies that things had remained peaceful.

Now, a great being had appeared who could crush Glenn. How could he not be shocked!

"Tarroc, do you know what you are saying?" Sugre emphasized!

Tarroc was exasperated. He wouldn't have believed such a thing himself if he hadn't experienced it! He said, "Your Majesty, I know what I'm saying. He has now arrived at the Undying Volcano. Your Majesty can meet him, but it's best not to provoke a conflict. He is too powerful!"

Sugre was startled. A powerful expert had come to their dwarf clan?

However, after a brief sensory scan, Sugre felt a pang of dejection. There was no God-King, only two gods. While not bad, many gods frequented their Undying Volcano, with numerous powerful gods coming to purchase weapons. It was quite normal for them to come to the Undying Volcano!

"Very well, you shall lead me to meet that expert!" Sugre decided. He felt it was better to go and see, believing that it's better to be safe than sorry!

As for the possibility of Tarroc playing a trick on him, heh, their dwarf race was relatively friendly. There was no benefit for him in deceiving his king!

Thus, Tarroc led Sugre to find Li Er!

Upon seeing Li Er, Sugre scrutinized him carefully. In the end, he had to admit, he still couldn't discern anything!

Just as Sugre was about to speak, a loud shout echoed from the sky: "Boss, boss, I'm here!"

With that, Spark descended excitedly. The timing was perfect!

A God-King level dragon. Sugre looked at Spark with some astonishment, seeing the dragon call out to a human as "boss." This was quite interesting!

"Boss, this is our dragon race's token. I've gotten it for you!" Spark said, producing the dragon race's token and handing it to Li Er!

Li Er took it, examined it, and indeed, it was the dragon race's token. He smiled and said, "Well done. You won't be shortchanged in the future."

Spark was overjoyed, even letting out two snorts towards the sky!

"So, King of the Dwarves, would you like to give me your token?" Li Er asked directly!

Sugre thought for a moment and replied, "If you can defeat me, then this token shall be gladly handed over!"

Upon hearing Sugre's words, Spark immediately declared, "Boss, this little dwarf is too stubborn! Let me teach him a lesson with a few Dragon Language Spells!"

Sugre's eyes immediately shot towards Spark. This fellow, merely in the early stage of the God-King realm, dared to challenge him, the King of the Dwarves!

Li Er waved his hand and extended five fingers, pointing at Sugre, saying, "Heaven and Earth Cage!"

Sugre felt as if he had entered a quagmire, unable to muster any strength. No matter how he struggled, he couldn't break free from the restraint. At this moment, Sugre finally understood Tarroc's words. No wonder the God-King level dragon called him "boss" repeatedly, and even Grand Mage Glenn was soundly defeated. With such power, who wouldn't be utterly crushed!

"Senior, I shall go retrieve the token immediately!" Sugre shouted!

Only then did Li Er lower his hand. Feeling his movement restored, Sugre quickly ran off to get the token!

Spark scoffed, "Hmph, he just needed a good lesson!"

In a short while, Sugre returned holding the token. After handing it to Li Er, he wiped his brow and asked, "Senior, are you going to the Abyss for training?"

Li Er nodded, in a way. His main objective was to see if there was truly any spatial origin within!
