Chapter 86: You Are the White Moonlight in My Heart

"The receipt has been written. Please be sure to deliver it to your master. I am extremely satisfied with this batch of goods."

Lynn smiled as he handed the card to the Slender Man.

The Slender Man glanced at the content on the card, and his entire face instantly turned greenish.

This was absolutely ridiculous beyond belief—like absurdity opening the door for absurdity's mother, taking absurdity to its extreme!

You diagnosed a bunch of damn fatal diseases for my master using just a single strand of hair?! Is this some kind of rocket-powered ascension?!

But this wasn't his concern anyway.

Without another word, the Slender Man immediately turned around, leaning on his cane while receiving an IV drip, and hurriedly clattered out the door.

Just as he reached outside, he heard Lynn's loud voice calling from behind.

"Customer, welcome to visit again next time! Thank you for your patronage!"

The Slender Man shuddered instantly.

His hand gripping the cane immediately quickened its pace, almost fleeing in panic as he rushed into the black mist.

......

Watching the Slender Man disappear into the distance.

Lynn didn't waste any more time. He quickly took out the four scrolls from the box.

Slowly unrolling them.

[Ever since you left, I have been thinking of you day and night, longing for your return, even tossing and turning unable to sleep, and I've lost several pounds from worrying.]

[This makes me recall that wonderful night once again.]

[Because I truly cannot suppress my longing for you in my heart, after much consideration, I decided to write you this letter today. I feel that if I don't write to you now, I won't be able to survive.]

[You are like a beam of white moonlight in my heart, truly impossible to forget.]

[So, would you be able to accept my invitation? I specially invite you to visit Wandering Souls Alley tomorrow for a gathering, and I have prepared a sumptuous feast for you. Please do not decline.]

[Your dentist, Mr. Lynn, who eagerly awaits your visit.]

After finishing the letter, Lynn immediately sealed it with wax.

Then he forcefully bit his finger and dripped blood onto the array on the scroll.

Lynn.

Instantly, under Lynn's watchful gaze, his blood began slowly flowing along the array patterns.

And in the very next moment, the array gradually glowed with a bloody light.

The air suddenly rippled with wave after wave of fluctuations.

In that instant, the array suddenly shot out a beam of light, within which two human-sized creatures slowly materialized.

One had a streamlined body that looked like a cheetah, but its entire form was covered with intricate red runes, and its body kept flickering as if it might disappear at any moment.

[Void Leap Beast]

[Level: 80]

[Alignment]: Lawful Neutral

[Combat Ability]: Runs really fast!

[Introduction]: Strange creatures that wander through the void and abyss. In open areas, when you look up at the void and see a large group of meteors swiftly crossing the sky, don't doubt—they might not be meteors but rather packs of Leap Beasts leaping through the void!

[Level]: 81

[Alignment]: None

[Combat Ability]: Really tough!

[Introduction]: Turtle kings that slumber in the Rotland Great Swamp. They are gentle and sluggish, spending most of their lives in deep sleep. Thousands or even tens of thousands of years mean almost nothing to them. Although most Rotland Turtles prefer not to leave the great swamp, there are always some mavericks who want to find work in the outside world, such as delivery services...

Seeing these two exceptional "talents" arrive, Lynn's eyes lit up.

"Are you two my messengers?"

Lynn greeted them with a smile.

The Void Leap Beast let out a howling sound in response.

The Rotland Turtle King slowly turned its turtle head, gradually opening its mouth to say:

"I..."

Lynn blinked.

Time slowly passed.

"Am..."

Lynn opened his mouth, holding his breath.

"Your..."

One minute later.

"Uh..." Lynn stared in astonishment, concentrating intently.

"Mess..."

"enger."

After the Turtle King finished speaking, its turtle head slowly revealed a simple, foolish turtle smile at an indescribably slow pace.

Lynn almost couldn't catch his breath.

He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, then solemnly and seriously handed the letter to the Turtle King, saying earnestly:

"Then I'll trouble you with this. I heard from your master that you only need a tiny bit of the target's body tissue or aura to quickly locate them and deliver the letter..."

Lynn reached into his chest pocket and pulled out a small amount of tooth fragments he had recently scraped from the Sacred Spear.

"Her name is Little One. Remember this aura, and please make sure to deliver my letter as quickly as possible."

The Turtle King sniffed it.

Then at an indescribably slow pace, it extended its turtle head, gradually opened its mouth, and took hold of the letter.

"Okay..."

Then under Lynn's myocardial infarction-inducing gaze.

It took ten minutes to slowly reach toward its own back.

Click—

A small door slowly opened on its shell.

"Then..."

Lynn finally became impatient.

He snatched the letter and with unimaginable speed quickly stuffed it into the hidden compartment on the turtle's shell, slamming it shut for him.

"I..." the Turtle King slowly opened its mouth, saying foolishly.

It slowly began moving its limbs, advancing toward the outside door at a microscopically visible speed.

"Will..."

Lynn's temples throbbed wildly. He stopped paying attention to it, letting it move at its own pace, then turned his gaze to the eagerly awaiting Void Leap Beast beside them.

"You have a mission too."

Lynn said seriously:

"I know you're the fastest among all messengers..."

Before Lynn could finish his sentence.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh—

The Void Leap Beast before Lynn's eyes instantly disappeared, then instantly reappeared, squatting in front of Lynn while panting with its tongue out.

"Awooo—"

It let out a long howl toward the sky.

Then placed a small piece of rock in front of Lynn.

Lynn stared in surprise, "This is... a meteorite fragment?! Are you saying you just went to the outer void in that brief moment?"

The Void Leap Beast proudly panted with its tongue out.

Lynn took a deep breath, closed his eyes, patted its dog-like head, and said:

"Fast! Definitely fast! But..."

Lynn pointed at the blood wildly gushing from its forehead, exclaiming in alarm:

"Your fucking skull is cracked open! Watch where you're going when you speed like that! You're fast alright, but if you get yourself killed right after leaving, I'll have to pay your burial fees before my letter even gets delivered!"
