Chapter 338 Qiu Caijie Seeks Help

Xie Sui wanted to establish an entertainment company not just for profit. While he wouldn't interfere with other companies, his own would aim for a clear, bright sky, providing a fair competitive space for all artists.

Easier said than done, and much harder to achieve.

As he pondered this, Qiu Caijie entered, handing him an invitation. "There's an awards ceremony tonight, and you're invited, Mr. Xie. Would you like to see it?"

"Do we have any works yet?"

"Not yet, but we could attend to join the fun, network with industry people, and foster good relations with the organizers. It might make it smoother for our works to be released in the future."

Xie Sui replied, "No, works are our foundation. Without them, what's the point of going? If you want to go, take people and go yourself."

"Alright, Mr. Xie. You should rest."

Xie Sui was indeed tired, having been on the go for days without proper rest. He returned to his home in Panlong Bay to shower and sleep soundly.

Upon returning to Panlong Bay, Xie Sui noticed a significant improvement in property management services. The community was less crowded with idle loiterers, and security patrols were more frequent, appearing quite professional.

"Good morning, Mr. Xie. You've just returned?"

A housekeeper greeted him at the entrance. Each building was assigned two housekeepers, young and attractive women, to serve the residents.

Xie Sui was speechless, wondering why so many people favored employing young, attractive women in visible roles.

"Yes, I'm back," Xie Sui replied faintly, without looking at them, and entered the elevator.

The two housekeepers exchanged glances. "Mr. Xie is so young and handsome."

"Otherwise, why would they call him the 'Little Stock God'? Are you smitten?"

"Don't be silly! The manager held a meeting, explicitly forbidding us from seducing residents. If anything happens, we're fired immediately."

"Fired? So what? If we can reel them in, who needs a job?"

Her companion marveled, "That's true. It makes sense."

The two smiled at each other, a hint of rivalry in their eyes. It was a matter of skill; whoever could hook him would be fortunate.

Xie Sui was fast asleep when his phone rang, waking him. He opened his eyes to darkness; he had slept quite long.

"Who is it?"

"Mr. Xie, something's happened. One of our artists is being harassed. I can't handle it, so I can only ask you to intervene. I suspect they're trying to force you to show up."

Xie Sui instantly became alert. "Where? I'm coming right away."

Qiu Caijie provided a hotel address. Xie Sui immediately notified Ah Hua and Ah Fei, changed into a suit, and hurried downstairs.

"Mr. Xie, going out so late?"

The housekeeper greeted him. Xie Sui walked past without a glance.

The housekeeper was a bit disappointed, another day without success. She had thought the young Mr. Xie might be interested in pretty girls, but it seemed he was different from typical young masters.

However, this only made her like him more. A man of self-restraint was even better!

Unaware of the housekeeper's thoughts, Xie Sui found Ah Hua waiting by the car. A chill emanated from him as Xie Sui got in.

"Drive to the hotel as fast as possible. Damn it, I just got back, and they're already looking for trouble. Do you have any wrist guards or knuckle dusters? Get me some. I might have to get my hands dirty."

Ah Hua replied, "You want to fight? I'll do it."

"No, your identity isn't suitable. This isn't a bodyguard brawl. The boss has to get his own hands dirty. I can't back down!"

"Alright, I'll have someone send them over immediately."

Ah Hua acted without delay. He made a call, and by the time they reached the hotel, a car was waiting. They handed Xie Sui a wrist guard and metal knuckle dusters—these things could shatter a person's nose with a single punch.

They also thoughtfully provided gloves. Xie Sui put them on, concealing the knuckle dusters, and entered the hotel with Ah Hua.
