Chapter 191 Tokyo Ghoul 5

The entire Aogiri Tree organization makes its appearance. An unknown group searches for Kamishiro Rize. Jason and the Bincho seek out Anteiku. CCG forces mobilize in large numbers. The ghoul Uta makes his first appearance. Multiple factions converge here, and Kaneki's nightmare is about to begin.

After eliminating the ghoul Mado, the lives of the few returned to normal, and Amon gave Mado a proper burial.

The next day, CCG headquarters dispatched a new member, Associate Special Investigator Kuzen, while Amon was transferred to the Special Operations Unit and headed to Ward 11 with Associate Investigator Akira.

Ward 20 would be handled by two other investigators.

That night, Touka encountered a strange individual who enjoyed cracking his knuckles and muttered Rize's name. On a nearby streetlight, the masked trio perched.

They were heading to Ward 20 to warn Kamishiro Rize to flee, as someone was already after her. Ward 11 had already suffered a massacre, and their leader, upon hearing that Jason had gone to Ward 20, prepared to lead his men there as well.

His subordinates also heard that their leader hailed from Ward 20.

Meanwhile, the Ward 11 branch had been annihilated by the Aogiri Tree, and CCG headquarters even received a taunting phone call.

The Commander-in-Chief was enraged. If this insult went unavenged, he would be too ashamed to face his fallen comrades.

The Manager and Yomo also witnessed the horrific scene of slaughter and knew that disaster had struck. The two of them rushed back to Anteiku. At the coffee shop, their first customer arrived, and he looked anything but friendly. He grabbed Kaneki by the collar, demanding to know where the Manager was.

Touka couldn't stand it any longer and reprimanded the man, suggesting he order a coffee if he wanted to inquire.

The stranger grew angry but complied, ordering a coffee and sitting down obediently. From Kaneki, he learned that the Manager was out for the moment. The stranger claimed he was only there to inform Rize to escape.

He explained that months ago, a ghoul organization called Aogiri Tree had attacked Ward 11. After forcing ghouls to submit, they began a large-scale massacre of doves, and these people were now searching for Kamishiro Rize, so he had come to deliver a warning.

At this moment, a handsome man suddenly appeared and kicked the stranger away. This newcomer was Ayato, Touka's brother. Closely following him was Jason, and behind them, the effeminate brother found Jason bothersome but was powerless to do anything.

Seeing that Rize was not present, Jason began his rampage but detected a foul odor—it was Rize's scent.

Touka tried to stop him, a futile act like a mantis trying to stop a chariot. Jason grabbed Kaneki and slammed him violently onto a table, then followed up with a kick to his back.

The onlookers were shocked to discover Kaneki was a one-eyed ghoul. Jason's blow opened up Kaneki's back. Touka tried to rush forward but was punched away by the arriving Ayato, who mocked his sister's weakness, just like their father.

Touka was enraged and deployed her kagune, preparing to fight. However, her brother was more formidable, his two wings unleashing a barrage of feathers that severely wounded Touka. This was the only way he could protect his sister. Kaneki, however, was not so fortunate. With the Manager absent, he was left to the mercy of his tormentors.

The older brother, unable to watch, advised Jason to leave but was met with a glare. The effeminate man behind him agreed, only to be "tenderly" treated by Jason, who was disturbingly perverse.

The group then bundled up the nearly dead Kaneki and took him back to Ward 11.

When the Manager returned, he found Anteiku in ruins. Touka explained everything, and the Manager immediately instructed Yomo to gather everyone.

At CCG's Sector C, forces were being assembled to evacuate civilians before launching an assault on Ward 11.

Juuzou Suzuya was among them.

Before departing, Associate Investigator Akira handed Amon a new weapon, which Mado had saved money to have them give to Amon.

Moments later, word arrived that the residents had been evacuated.

The combined CCG special forces numbered over a thousand, ready to launch their assault at any moment.

The members of Anteiku also prepared to head to Ward 11 to rescue Kaneki, including the man who loved Kaneki the most, Tsukiyama.

Despite Touka's strong objections, the Manager agreed to let Tsukiyama join, reasoning that every additional person was a valuable asset.

As for why Tsukiyama was still energetic, it was because he had eaten himself, a prospect that further solidified Touka's opposition.

Fortunately, Yomo assured her that he would keep an eye on Tsukiyama, and Touka reluctantly agreed.

The rescue mission officially began, while Kaneki's situation grew dire.
