Chapter 158 The Attack on Titan Arc Part Fifty-One

Annie and her companions continued towards the tail of the skeleton. Watching Bertolt's manipulated body, Annie's heart remained unsettled. However, the urgent matter was to rescue Armin as quickly as possible; that fellow Armin was inside the mouth of that pig-headed man.

Annie proposed forcing the pig-headed man to the end of the tail valley before dealing with him.

The three immediately jumped off Falco's back, determined to snatch Armin back this time.

A golden flash illuminated the entire battlefield as the Female Titan, Annie, reappeared.

Concurrently, Gabi declared she could counterattack with the anti-Titan cannon in her hand. However, Captain Levi deemed the weapon useless.

At this moment, Captain Levi's sole focus was finding Zeke's whereabouts. Yet, even if he found Zeke's location, in his current battered state, he would only be a hindrance.

Erwin's face flickered in Levi's mind.

He had never failed Erwin's orders. Not once. But why was it that his final command remained unfulfilled?

Perhaps their mission had ended on that White Night, or perhaps it was simply to escort the three youngsters to the sea.

Levi's thoughts drifted back to the past. He believed the hearts everyone had offered were not meant to be trampled by the rumbling.

The world without Titans, the world everyone dreamed of, must have been an ideal so pure it was irrefutable. If not, how could it be worthy of the hearts they had sacrificed?

With this thought, Levi clenched his blade again. "Commander Erwin, I, Levi, do not regret not choosing to save you, for I have entrusted the future to those with eyes like yours."

On the other side, Annie noticed the pig-headed man fleeing again towards the skull. Seeing this, Mikasa quickly called out to Annie. Annie understood. Mikasa directly hooked her grapple onto Annie's hand and then unleashed the Titan transformation skill, the Death Whirlwind.

Thrown by Annie, Mikasa flew rapidly towards the pig-headed man. However, other Titans immediately blocked the pig-headed man's rear. Mikasa, blinded by bloodlust, could only first dispatch the two Titans belonging to Ete.

But the next second, a Cart Titan attacked Mikasa. Mikasa's blade snapped like brittle paper against the Cart Titan's armor, breaking instantly. The Cart Titan's next attack continued to press upon Mikasa.

At the critical moment, Annie arrived just in time, delivering a "nuclear blast" kick that pierced the Cart Titan's head and lungs. However, the pig-headed man seized this opportunity to flee towards Bertolt's direction. The situation once again plunged into a desperate state, with the three of them surrounded by countless Titans, with no retreat.

Meanwhile, the beastly Armin was still staring blankly, preparing to reason with his own body. Armin couldn't understand why his body wouldn't move. Armin's consciousness pleaded for his body to move quickly, otherwise everyone would die.

Yet, his body remained unresponsive. Armin berated himself as a beast, a worthless scumbag. Though granted new life, with hopes and responsibilities, he had never offered them any hope. Why had he died like this?

Move, move faster. Armin's consciousness collapsed before his body, burying his head in his hands and weeping.

But the next second, Armin realized something was wrong. Why was there sand here?

Furthermore, if he were truly dead, why could he still think?

This meant that this was not an illusion, not a dream, and not the afterlife. This was a passage, this was reality.

The next second, Armin found himself before a colossal coordinate once again. He should have been in the mouth of a Titan, yet he could inexplicably discern everyone's situation clearly. Perhaps all Eldians were connected through this passage.

With this thought, Armin immediately realized he could do something here. After all, he was the Attack Titan.

And the next second, Armin discovered Mr. Zeke weakly piling up sand behind him.

Armin immediately approached Zeke, wanting to understand the situation. Zeke, in turn, recognized Armin as Eren's close friend.

Seeing Armin's arrival, Zeke immediately realized Armin had also been eaten by Ymir.
