Mu Xing saw Bai Lingyun’s silence and the injury on his face, making his heart race with anxiety.
"I don’t care what happens to them, I just fear they’ve really hurt someone," Fang Ya said angrily. "If my daughter-in-law and granddaughter were hurt by them, their deaths a million times over wouldn’t be enough!"
"Don’t worry, fortunately, nothing irreversible happened. By the way, Mu Xing," Gu Fangming looked up, seeing Mu Xing frowning in the direction of Bai Lingyun, "Mu Xing?"
Curious, he turned his head to look where Mu Xing was gazing.

How did you end up like this? Aren’t you still filming? Is that still happening?"
Before Bai Lingyun could speak, Mu Xing lowered her head to confess, "Sir, I’m sorry, I was the one who hit him. It was an accident."
Fang Ya exclaimed in surprise, "How did you hit him like this? Mu Xing, you normally wouldn’t hit someone just like that, and with your skills, it’s hard to believe it was just an ’accident.’ Is there some misunderstanding?"
Fang Ya’s concern stemmed from recalling that past scandal in the Gu Family, the same scandal that led to Gu Annan and Lu Wanwan’s divorce.
She wasn’t clear on the actual details of what happened, but she believed that Bai Lingyun and Lu Wanwan couldn’t have done anything improper.
She wasn’t particularly familiar with Lu Wanwan, but she and Gu Fangming knew Bai Lingyun’s nature well enough to trust he wouldn’t do anything reckless.
