The Raven That Passes By

Chapter 419 - 258: Power of the Light Blade_2

People were silent for a while.

"Ha ha, cough! Cough!" Only the mouth of the man known as Steel Bones could move as he struggled to laugh, "You hear that, sons? I killed one of you, you useless bunch of..."

A foot stepped on Steel Bones' mouth, grinding it neither too hard nor too softly.

The owner of the foot gazed down with eyes sharp as knives: "I will make you pay! I will go to Earth, and make every one of you pay!"

The voice was deep, filled with suppressed, savage anger.

Boom, the ground trembled.

People looked over as 'Just an Earthquake Passing By' lay on the ground, snake-like lifting his head to look this way, his hands digging into the Earth.

"Let's all die together!" He used all his strength, activating his abilities.

"Hiss!" Two arrows pierced each of his shoulders, the tremendous force pulling his body off the ground and pinning him to a broken rock pillar.

"Did you think we'd forgotten about you?" The archer lowered his bow.

"Pah!" 'Just an Earthquake Passing By' spat on the ground.

The movement pulled at his wounds, causing his facial muscles to twitch in pain, his vision to darken, yet he revealed a mocking smile to the forty-eight people before him.

The archer walked over and slapped him across the face.

'Just an Earthquake Passing By' head was jerked to the side, but he was still laughing.

"Slap!" Another slap on the face.

"Pah!"

"I see how long you can keep spitting." The archer's eyes were cold as he struck again.

He slapped him seventeen times, continuing until 'Just an Earthquake Passing By' was dizzy and almost lost consciousness.

'Sword Solely for the Throat' watched coldly, waiting for the archer to stop, then exchanged a glance with the equally silent 'Deadly Light Flame.'

'Deadly Light Flame,' resignedly spoke out: "Dead is dead, but the women of Four Seasons Star are really something, ha ha, pfft!"

An armoured leg kicked him over.

'Deadly Light Flame' tumbled through the air, blood spurting from his eyes, nose, and mouth.

"With Superman-like strength, afraid to do this or that on Earth, but rampaging on Four Seasons Star makes it all worthwhile!" 'Sword Solely for the Throat' laughed loudly.

A foot brutally stomped on his back, 'Sword Solely for the Throat' almost vomited his organs out.

"Ha... ha... giving me a back rub? Mages have more strength than you... put some effort, ha ha!" 'Sword Solely for the Throat' gasped, laughing intermittently.

The leg pressing on his back exerted more force, 'Sword Solely for the Throat' body was forcibly stretched out, he felt like he had been broken in half.

"Alright, take them back." Someone ordered.

"These men are resolute; the interrogation will likely not go smoothly."

"Warriors fear not pain, nor death, but they might not endure the torture of an interrogation."

A man came over and picked up 'Deadly Light Flame.'

'Deadly Light Flame' said: "Want to hear a story?"

He used the strength of a roar, but his voice was as faint as a whisper.

The warrior was unmoved.

"In war, anything that conscience forbids, soldiers can do without hesitation."

'Deadly Light Flame' coughed twice, quickly processed his restrained desires, and dredged up materials from past experiences to add details.

"That woman was kneeling on the ground, flirtatiously opening her blouse while begging me, 'Please, spare my daughter, she's still young, I'll take her place!'"

The warrior's eyebrows twitched, his grip on Deadly Light Flame's clothes whitening.

"That vile woman looked forty, who would be interested in her? Just like you guys just now, I slapped her a few times, then pulled down my pants, and like a dog, pounced on her daughter."

"Her daughter raised a knife wanting to kill herself. I liked her so much, how could I let her die so soon? Tried to save her, but tripped over my pants and fell."

"The daughter died, of course I was angry, guess what I did? Killed her mother?"

"Wrong, when I fell, I landed on something fun, a baby, haha! I lifted the cover, pressed the baby into the pot, it was full of hot water, ahahaha!"

The warrior lifted 'Deadly Light Flame,' and slammed him hard onto the ground.

"I'll kill you!" He drew a huge axe from his waist.

"Stop!" A long spear blocked the furious axe.

'Deadly Light Flame' tried to say something more, but could only groan; he felt he was truly about to die.

If he had known it would come to this, he should have truly committed those atrocities and had his fun with women.

"Let go, I want to kill this beast!"

"These people want to provoke you, make you kill him!" The spearman shouted, "Wake up! Without the intelligence, more people will suffer the same humiliation!"

"Killed us?" 'Steel Bones,' bound up, gasped, "You think too highly of us."

"What do you mean?"

"Support? Support!" the "Doctor" shouted.

The spear warrior's complexion changed, his voice becoming shrilly distorted, "Are you guys stalling?!"

His heart thudded twice, and the expression of the warrior gradually calmed down.

"What's the use of stalling? We have so many people, even if your support arrives, your fate will be the same as yours!"

Bang!

The spear warrior split down the middle, his bisected body repelling like magnets.

"Enemy!"

"Be careful, they're saving someone!"

Forty-seven warriors quickly formed a formation.

In the chaos, "Iron Bones," "Just a Passing Earthquake," "Sword Aims for the Throat," and "Doctor" laughed.

"Doctor, aren't you insane?"

"How could a 'Doctor' go insane? It's least likely for a 'Doctor' to go insane, hahaha!"

The crowd stared at him blankly for a while, then ignored him and looked towards the battlefield, feeling a joy of escaping a desperate situation welling up inside them.

"Whoosh!" Another wave of red light.

The air had become so hot that it was distorting, and the previously bisected bodies had been ignited, with every pore of the bodies spewing flames.

Even the weapons and armor were scorched to a molten hue.

By the time the second wave of red light appeared, the air had lifted a gale due to the temperature difference. This gale, like waves of fire, struck repeatedly, making everyone feel suffocated, their whole bodies boiling hot, their skin reddening.

Li Changzhou wielded his Red Light Blade.

"Solid Wall!" Seven or eight warriors stepped forward, their bodies emitting an apricot-yellow glow.

The glow connected into a thick yellow light wall.

Bang!

A sea of fire exploded on the light wall, and the warriors at the forefront, their feet plowing the ground, stepped back two steps.

Li Changzhou walked over and raised his hand again with a Red Light Blade.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The yellow light wall trembled, and the warriors continuously retreated, yet all were blocked.

"Now's our chance!" The archer pulled the bow, the Sorcerer chanted spells, and the spearman pulled back his arm, making a throwing motion.

"I forgot, you guys are Earth Central people."

Li Changzhou spread his arms 120 degrees, and two streams of Jade Light extended over ten meters.

This was the first time he had released two Qi Lights simultaneously, a brutal and immense power erupting within him like a storm, his blood thundering in his ears.

It was terrifying yet splendid.

His arms waved, the light saber slashing wildly, the Jade Light striking the yellow light wall. The previously indestructible light wall faced the Jade Light and was penetrated instantly.

The Jade Light spread, crawling over the yellow light wall like plant roots in soil.

Crack, crack—the light wall was full of cracks.

Bang! The light wall shattered!

Without the light wall, Li Changzhou, with fighting power surpassing an Immortal, was like a tiger entering a flock of sheep.

Gold, wood, water, fire; floods surged toward Earth, the Five Elements clashed, a storm of Jade Light burst from his arms, thunder of spring bursting, the earth cracked open, sprouting green grass.

Woken by the scorching flames and the deafening spring thunder, "Deadly Light Flame" saw "Iron Bones" and others leaning on a fractured wall, their faces filled with astonishment.

He turned his head, breathing rapidly.

He couldn't tell if it was because of his injuries, excitement, or simply fear.

The terrifying screams, the shattering of weapons, the breaking of bones...

Bodies were tossed high, no one could withstand a single strike, and they fell like rotten trees.

Among the scattered corpses, the last Jade Light Blade from Li Changzhou cut a desperately resisting warrior, along with his shield, armor, and his whole body, all in two.
