Amid the retching sounds of Little Demon Star, the Floral Fairy Beast instructed the four people:
"If you're lucky, and end up in the same space as the shuttle, you can stay inside it—when you encounter the Flesh Space River, staying inside the shuttle won't label you as a deserter. Of course, you cannot drive the shuttle and escape."
"Thank you," Li Qianxia looked at her, "You are truly beautiful."
The Floral Fairy Beast gracefully bowed, then turned and dashed out of the hatch on her OKIS, leaving behind the scent of her flowers in the shuttle.
"I want to take her back to the Honey Jar World!" Li Qianxia caressed the rabbit in her arms.
"Hunting a Flower Fairy... ugh! It's illegal... ugh~"
Yang Qinglan lifted her sleeves, as delicate as a fairy's, covered her nose and mouth, nodded at Li Changzhou, then flew out of the shuttle.
Turquoise Pool and Li Qianxia also left.
Li Changzhou looked at Little Demon Star, the most knowledgeable-hating person he had ever seen, patted the other's shoulder, stowed away his King Cobra, and also left the shuttle.
The space around them twisted as if someone were rotating it like a Rubik's cube. It was an optical illusion; in reality, it was the Flesh Space River dividing space.
The ten people who landed at the Stronghold Star seemed to be on the same planet, but the distance between them was almost infinite.
The reason it was 'almost' infinite was not because of linear distance, but because they were not on the same spatial plane.
[Manipulating space is a Heavenly Immortal's maneuver, Buddha's Five Finger Mountain is a type of spatial spell, and a Saint could grant it to a river]
Li Changzhou patted its head: "Go on, go find..."
Now the question was, his sister or his wife?
The yellow dog looked up at him, panting excitedly like an ordinary pet dog waiting for its owner to toss a frisbee.
In the mission, one shouldn't consider closeness or distance but who among the three was most in danger?
Yang Qinglan had the "Candle," Li Qianxia had the "Chaos Series - Flame Butterfly"...
"...go find Turquoise Pool."
Just like a master finally tossing the frisbee, the yellow dog dashed out, quick as lightning.
Li Changzhou had a connection with his summoning, so keeping up with it wasn't a concern. Besides, why could this dog scent out Turquoise Pool and find her location in the fragmented space?
Everything before him completely contradicted Li Changzhou's normal way of thinking, to put it simply— it was nonsensical.
It was just like in England—where he had previously teleported for a vacation—the washroom faucets, with separate hot and cold water, meaning you had to either wash your hands with completely cold water, or scald them with hot water; there's no way to use warm water—this made no sense at all, why would it be designed like this?
English bathrooms are mostly designed by someone idiotic, but to say that the Flesh Saint was idiotic, Li Changzhou would rather believe that the Saint had no hand in the design, allowing the flesh to randomly generate new life forms, thus the bizarre phenomenon of 'dogs useful, S-level teleportation useless' occurred.
Fortunately, the player's backpack was invincible; Li Qianxia used the shared backpack to signal she was safe.
OKIS ascended, carrying Li Changzhou toward the direction in which the yellow dog had disappeared.
Just as he took off.
Boom!
A blazing white light of destruction, like a brush of death painting the world, swept past the point where Li Changzhou was.
Li Changzhou appeared on the ground. At his feet, entwined flesh formed a cannon muzzle, spewing a flashlight-like bright white light.
The white light didn't disappear; the spaces around seemed to become mirrors, continually adjusting to refract the white light towards Li Changzhou.
A horrific current of air had already started blowing Li Changzhou's hair while he stood motionless; dark mist surged up behind him, and a giant black hand opened to catch the white light.
The shadow behind Li Changzhou swayed, and the white light disappeared in the palm of the dark mist's giant hand, kicking up some airwaves, causing no destruction.
Standing behind the immense dark hand, Li Changzhou didn't immediately attack the main body of the flesh cannon. This was a type of energy he had never devoured before, potentially enhancing his strength.
Gurgle, gurgle.
Li Changzhou looked toward the sound. In the distance on the ground, dozens of flesh blobs crawled over.
In the instant he turned his head, the flesh stopped, began to entangle, some turning into skinless human warriors, some forming weapons, some becoming cannon muzzles.
The cannon fired first, the same white light but much thinner, weaving through the air in all directions.
The flesh warriors picked up weapons generated by the other flesh, with a pungent smell of blood and a dense evil air enveloping them instantly.
A group of 2-meter-tall, skinless human warriors, holding weapons, kicked off the ground and rushed toward Li Changzhou, close to the white light at high speed.
Another black mist giant hand, easily a dozen meters wide, swept across towards the direction of the charging flesh warriors.
