Jing Minghe narrowed his eyes and watched quietly. Finally, amidst the countless fragments, he found the person he had been looking for.
"Lu Fanfei!"
Jing Minghe shouted and rushed towards the person.
However, the fragments around him suddenly dragged him down.
No, not now.
Jing Minghe desperately tried to rise, to get closer to Lu Fanfei's direction, but Lu Fanfei's figure became increasingly blurry, and his descent accelerated.
"Brother!"
A desperate cry, but no response. Everything before his eyes gradually turned into nothingness with the fragments.
Lu Fanfei, tell me, you're still alive.
Unable to get the answer he wanted, Lu Fanfei's figure, just seen, seemed like an illusion. Whether Lu Fanfei was alive or dead, it remained uncertain.

After Tong Zheng and his group entered the glass door, they found themselves in a surprisingly spacious area. Except for the glass door, the walls on all sides were pure white, without a single speck of impurity.
In the center of the space stood three glass cabinets. However, despite being made of glass, the contents inside were invisible from the outside.
The group stared tensely at the entrance for a while and, finding no monsters pursuing them, finally relaxed and took a rest.
"Mr. Tong," You Mi walked up to Tong Zheng, "Let me examine Wu Wen. Put him down."
Tong Zheng hesitated, then nodded. He hugged Ke Wu Wen and squatted down, laying Ke Wu Wen on the ground with his head on Tong Zheng's lap.
After the examination, You Mi told Tong Zheng, "Don't worry too much. Wu Wen has just fainted. I'll treat his injuries, and he'll be fine."
Tong Zheng grunted, and You Mi, without further words, focused on treating Ke Wu Wen's injuries.
Wen Sha helped the injured Ban Sheng sit by the wall and said with concern, "I wonder how Jing Minghe and Mr. Chi are doing. Did those monsters not chase us because those two blocked them all?"
Upon hearing Wen Sha's words, You Mi's hands paused.
Jing Minghe and Chi Hao indeed possessed extraordinary abilities, but considering the strength and numbers of the monsters outside, it was impossible for them to block them all.
Thinking of this, You Mi couldn't help but worry.
Ding Chang scanned everyone present with a cold gaze. He knew that this train had been altered by his actions. As for how to clear the altered train instance, he needed someone to test it.
"What should we do now?" Yue Di suddenly asked, "Are we all being driven into the seventh carriage? So now, each of us has to complete the seventh carriage's mission?"
"Probably," Wen Sha replied, "don't the monsters here attack everyone indiscriminately?"
"No," Ban Sheng shook his head, "this is probably no longer the seventh carriage."
Saying this, Ban Sheng glared at Ding Chang with anger in his eyes and explained, "He killed the mission targets and told them they were just data, not people. Somehow, triggered by who knows what, the other NPCs suddenly went berserk."
Ban Sheng frowned and continued, "We were originally in a small village, blocked by an invisible wall. After the villagers went berserk, we started to flee. In the end, for some reason, the berserk villagers began to explode one by one."
Wen Sha noticed Ban Sheng looking at Ke Wu Wen and asked, "How did he faint?"
Ban Sheng shifted his gaze to Ding Chang, "A villager who was about to explode got too close to him. He pushed Ke Wu Wen to knock away the villager. The exploding villager sent Ke Wu Wen flying. When I found him, he was already unconscious."
Listening to Ban Sheng's narration, Tong Zheng clenched his fists. You Mi gently patted him, signaling that now was not the time for settling scores.
Wen Sha pressed further, "Then why do you say this is probably no longer the seventh carriage?"
"Didn't I say it? We were originally in a small village," Ban Sheng pointed, "and this is an abandoned factory."
Wen Sha was puzzled, "But we came in, and we were already here. Isn't this factory in the village?"
Ban Sheng frowned slightly, "How to put it? It should be that the moment you entered, the village suddenly turned into a factory. So, I said, this is probably no longer the seventh carriage."
"Look!" Yue Di suddenly shouted.
Everyone followed Yue Di's pointing finger. The previously pure white walls now had numerous black spots, and those black spots were gradually growing larger, turning from dots into dense black holes. Before anyone could react to the situation, dark crawling insects began to emerge from the black holes in the wall, one after another.
Wherever the black worms crawled, they left behind a dark, sticky mucus. This mucus also seemed alive; even after leaving the worms, it continued to writhe.
"Oh my god!" Yue Di retreated step by step, reaching Wen Sha and Ban Sheng, "What are these things?"
As soon as Yue Di finished asking, everyone heard a scream.
Following the sound, they saw Ying Qiang. His one good hand had come into contact with the black mucus and was being corroded little by little. Flesh and blood gradually disappeared, leaving only bare white bones.
"No, save me," Ying Qiang lunged at Ding Chang, begging, "Ding Chang, save me! I can't lose both hands!"
Ding Chang, while observing the black worms emerging from the wall, said with a hint of helplessness, "How can I save you? I can't stop this corrosion."
Ying Qiang ignored what Ding Chang was saying, and with his remaining bone-white hand, he reached for Ding Chang's arm, shouting, "You must have a way! You've always been resourceful, haven't you?"
Ding Chang subtly dodged Ying Qiang's grasping bone claw, "Calm down. Aren't you looking at the current situation?"
Hearing Ding Chang's reminder, Ying Qiang finally noticed that a large swarm of black worms was approaching them.
Seeing this, Ying Qiang retreated repeatedly. He just wanted to get away from these things, further away. He had only touched a bit of mucus that had fallen from a black worm, and he was now facing the danger of losing an arm. It was evident how terrifying these black worms were.
"What do we do?" Ying Qiang turned to look at the glass door they had entered through. It was so close, yet it seemed impossibly far due to the terrifying black worms in between.
Everyone kept moving closer to the center, getting nearer to the three glass cabinets in the middle.
Ding Chang, lost in thought, suddenly quickened his pace and ran to the three glass cabinets. He circled one of them, and a slight smile curved his lips.
After a moment of hesitation, he turned and shouted to Ying Qiang, "If you want to live, come with me."
With that, he reached out and pushed open one of the glass cabinets, then deliberately squeezed inside.
Seeing this, Ying Qiang scrambled over, mimicking Ding Chang, pushed open the adjacent glass cabinet, and hurriedly got inside.
