Chapter 678 Seeking Xavier

Without any prompting or explanation, Vivi picked up the pen and began the test.

The first-grade papers were simple, and she finished them quickly. Second grade wasn't difficult either, she breezed through it. Third grade...

Vivi paused, her head feeling a bit blank. She couldn't quite remember.

Looking at the test papers, especially the math section, Vivi struggled to complete them.

Lu Wanqing watched from the side, not hurrying her. Only when an hour had passed did she call a halt to the test.

Vivi pouted, "Mom, I really am in fifth grade!"

She hadn't even reached the fifth-grade papers yet, still working on third grade.

Lu Wanqing smiled and nodded, "Yes, Mom knows. Perhaps the material after third grade is a bit challenging. Vivi is still young and can't recall everything."

Vivi nodded vigorously, "Mhmm, mhmm, mhmm!"

Lu Wanqing reached out and ruffled Vivi's hair, smiling, "Then starting tomorrow, Mom will review third-grade material with you, okay?"

Vivi was still young, only a little over a year old, and her brain was not yet fully developed. Lu Wanqing thought for a moment and added, "However, you're still little, so there's no need to rush your studies. We'll study for an hour each day, and you can rest well the rest of the time. When you're older, we can gradually increase the study time, alright?"

Vivi's eyes widened in surprise and delight, "Really?"

Only one hour of studying each day sounded incredibly blissful.

"Yes, really!" Lu Wanqing confirmed with a smile.

Vivi immediately jumped up with excitement, hugged her mommy, and showered her with kisses!

Lu Wanqing ruffled the little one's hair, increasingly certain that Vivi, in terms of academics, took after Harvey.

Still, a child over a year old couldn't be expected to study for too long. A brain constantly thinking would be in a state of fatigue, which wouldn't be good for its development.

"Alright, you play by yourself for a while, and Mom will read a book, okay?" Lu Wanqing ruffled Vivi's head and said with a smile.

"Okay," Vivi agreed readily.

"Oh, right," Lu Wanqing suddenly remembered, turning to Vivi and asking, "Vivi, do you still remember that bad woman from your past life, the one Harvey fell for? What was her name, and which planet was she from?"

"I know!" Vivi immediately replied.

This bad woman was the most important person. Before her rebirth, Yan Huohuo had told her to remember, and never let Brother Harvey fall for this bad woman again!

"Her name is Alice, and she's from the Abyss Star!" Vivi declared.

Alice?

Abyss Star?

Lu Wanqing pondered for a moment, then nodded, "Okay, Mom understands. Mom will investigate."

"Mhmm, mhmm!" Vivi readily agreed.

With the information about that woman, Lu Wanqing couldn't resist looking into it.

Lu Wanqing opened her holo-computer and first searched for the Abyss Star.

The results were as Vivi had described: the Abyss Star was a poor and backward planet. Most importantly, like the Dusk Mist Star, it was one of the planets most frequented by star pirates.

Time flew by as she diligently reviewed the information. Before she knew it, it was noon.

The housekeeping robot had prepared lunch and called them to eat.

Lu Wanqing snapped back to attention and took the child to eat.

Lu Yang had also finished his morning work and returned to join them for the meal.

"Third Brother," Lu Wanqing couldn't help but speak up at the dinner table.

"What is it?" Lu Yang looked at her.

Lu Wanqing glanced at Vivi, then said, "This morning, I chatted with Vivi. I asked about the information regarding the girl Harvey would fall for. Vivi said the girl's name is Alice, and she's from the Abyss Star."

"Alice?"

"Abyss Star?"

Lu Yang repeated her words, falling into thought.

Lu Wanqing nodded and continued, "I checked the information. The Abyss Star is very similar to the Dusk Mist Star, with frequent star pirate activity. If that girl was indeed a star pirate before, it's quite possible she attended school on the Abyss Star."

"Mhmm," Lu Yang nodded.

Lu Wanqing served herself a bowl of rice and took a few bites. Finally, she couldn't help but say, "Third Brother, can we go to the Abyss Star to take a look?"

"If that girl truly exists, she should be attending school now. We could look around the school and likely find her," Lu Wanqing suggested.

Lu Yang pondered for a while, then nodded, "We can."

Vivi, sitting in her child seat nearby, listened to her parents' conversation and curiously asked, "Daddy, Mommy, are you looking for that bad woman?"

Lu Wanqing turned to look at Vivi and nodded, "Yes, Mommy wants to take a look."

"Then I want to go too!" Vivi immediately raised her hand.

"Mommy, I know her. If I see her, I'll definitely recognize her!" Vivi exclaimed loudly.

Lu Wanqing turned and met Lu Yang's gaze, smiling. She looked at Vivi and said, "She might not look like she does when she's grown up."

According to Vivi, the girl only appeared when she was in university. Participating in assessments with Harvey suggested they were in the same cohort, meaning their ages would be similar to Harvey's.

They say a woman changes greatly by eighteen. If the girl was currently in junior high, her appearance might be vastly different from her university days.

"Even so, it's still her. There will always be some similarity in appearance," Lu Yang said.

Vivi nodded vigorously, "Exactly!"

Lu Yang said, "Let's take Vivi along. Don't worry, we can protect her."

Lu Yang was confident in his abilities. Facing star pirates, let alone visiting the Abyss Star, was not something she feared.

Lu Wanqing looked into her third brother's eyes and finally agreed, "Okay."

"Let's ask Xavier to come with us," Lu Wanqing mused, then added.

"Xavier is more familiar with star pirates. He might be able to find some things we can't," Lu Wanqing explained.

Lu Yang nodded, "Mhmm."

Since they were going to ask Xavier to accompany them to the Abyss Star, they would also need to tell him about Vivi's rebirth and what Vivi had said about Harvey falling for the wrong woman later in life and ultimately being harmed.

In the afternoon, Lu Wanqing took Vivi to the Eternal Arena.

The front desk attendant at the arena recognized Lu Wanqing. Seeing her arrive, the young woman hurried over, nervously greeting her, "Ms. Lu, welcome!"

"Is Xavier here?" Lu Wanqing asked.

"Yes, are you looking for the boss? I'll contact him immediately," the attendant replied.

"Thank you," Lu Wanqing said.

The attendant quickly made a call to notify the inside.

A moment later, Xavier emerged. Seeing Lu Wanqing and Lu Yang, he was surprised, "Why are you here?"

Lu Wanqing said earnestly, "Can we talk inside?"

"Of course," Xavier replied with a smile.

They quickly entered. It was Lu Wanqing's first time in Xavier's office, and she couldn't help but observe it closely. It was... very minimalist.

"Please, have a seat and rest for a bit," Xavier invited with a smile.

Lu Wanqing sat down on the sofa, as did Vivi and Lu Yang. The family of three settled in.

Xavier looked at them, finding it strange. Lu Wanqing rarely came to see him here. He had a bad feeling.

"It's about Harvey," Lu Wanqing stated.

Xavier paused while pouring tea and looked at Lu Wanqing.
