Chapter 88 Danger Approaches
Mother and son studied the recording ball together, and time slipped away unnoticed until it was time to depart.
Lu Wanqing tucked the recording ball into her spatial button as well, then ruffled the little one's hair and said, "Let's go, it's time for us to leave!"
Little Mu Lan had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Upon hearing her words, his eyes lit up, and he nodded vigorously, "Mhm!"
Butler Mu was also happy. This was Ms. Lu and the young master's first time traveling far from home. He couldn't help but be even more attentive, waiting for them downstairs.

"Thank you, Grandpa Butler!" Little Mu Lan, seeing Lu Wanqing thank the butler, followed suit.
Butler Mu was taken aback for a moment, then couldn't help but chuckle. He said with amusement, "Young Master, this is my duty. You don't need to thank me."
Lu Wanqing was not a member of the Mu family, so her thanks were understandable. However, the young master was a true member of the Mu family, and as the family's butler, serving the Mu family masters was his responsibility.
Little Mu Lan was puzzled but let it go, not dwelling on it.
Lu Wanqing also ruffled the child's hair, understanding the difference.
"Let's go," Lu Wanqing said with a smile.
Little Mu Lan's spirits lifted again upon hearing this, his small face full of excitement.

Lu Wanqing blinked in surprise and instinctively asked, "We don't need tickets?"
"What are tickets?" Little Mu Lan immediately retorted, looking bewildered.
Lu Wanqing was speechless.
Butler Mu was also confused. He asked blankly, "Ms. Lu, did people need tickets to travel by spaceship in the era you lived in before?"
Lu Wanqing's lips twitched slightly. For a moment, she was at a loss for words. After a while, she finally said, "In my time, ordinary people couldn't just take spaceships. But if we traveled by train, high-speed rail, or airplane, we needed to have our tickets checked."
Butler Mu also realized, and he chuckled instantly, "I apologize, I'm not very familiar with the history of ancient Earth."
Lu Wanqing couldn't help but laugh either, finding it quite amusing.
Butler Mu stopped at the ship's entrance, seeing them off. Lu Wanqing held Little Mu Lan's hand to prevent him from getting lost.
Butler Mu's gentle voice said, "Ms. Lu, this is the spaceship. Please escort the young master aboard."
"Mhm, thank you," Lu Wanqing thanked him again.
"Thank you, Grandpa Butler!" Little Mu Lan, following his mother's lead, once again thanked Butler Mu.
Butler Mu was stunned again, then looked at Little Mu Lan, his eyes even more gentle and kind. "Yes, goodbye, young master. Remember to take care of yourself when you're out."
"Mhm mhm, I will!" Little Mu Lan quickly promised.

Lu Yuanyuan's optical computer suddenly vibrated, and a message arrived.
"Miss, Lu Wanqing and Mu Lan have boarded our family's spaceship."
The opportunity had finally arrived!
Lu Yuanyuan's gaze was cold as she stared at the message on her optical computer. Her heart pounded with excitement and wild joy. She had waited so long for this opportunity, and Lu Wanqing had finally walked right into it!
Lu Yuanyuan thought this and immediately replied to the communication, "Arrange it immediately. I don't want to see her again!"
The other side quickly responded, "Understood."

On the spaceship, Lu Wanqing had already exchanged seats with other passengers on the same flight to sit with Little Mu Lan.

"Mommy will only eat a little bit!" Lu Wanqing said in a small voice after a moment of internal debate, holding up her hand and indicating a tiny amount in front of the child.
Little Mu Lan stared at her, and after a long while, he nodded, "Oh."
Lu Wanqing was speechless. She felt something was odd.
Her emotions were too complex, and Lu Wanqing only managed to eat two more bites before stopping herself. She couldn't be a bad influence on the child.
However, the waiting journey was still arduous. After waiting for a while, she began to feel restless. Could she watch a movie or something?
Lu Wanqing thought about it and opened her optical computer to search. Not all movies in the interstellar era were fully immersive.
