Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Destroying Others’ Families Will Be Repaid Sooner or Later

"Mom..." Michelle Monroe exclaimed in shock, then turned her face angrily toward Ivana Monroe: "How is my mom not your elder? If she reprimands her junior a bit, what’s wrong with that? Ivana, as a junior, you came up and slapped my mom in the face; you’re too vicious."

Jean Shaw was dumbfounded by Ivana’s slap. Hearing Michelle’s voice, she immediately reacted, revealing her true shrewish nature and reached out to hit Ivana: "You vile little wench! How dare you hit me? I’ll tear your face to shreds..."

Leon Keane took a large step forward, once again intercepting Jean Shaw’s hand.

Jean Shaw was furious to the point of madness, using her other hand to pound on Leon’s chest and tugged like a hysterical woman from the marketplace.

Michelle was slightly at a loss. If Jean Shaw were hitting Ivana, she would cheer. But seeing Leon protect Ivana so fiercely, fearful she might suffer the slightest harm, Michelle felt a burning jealousy.

Seeing Jean Shaw’s fist hit Leon’s chest didn’t bring her any satisfaction; instead, she felt an insane amount of jealousy.

Michelle glared venomously at Ivana, this little bitch should have died six years ago. Now she drags her filthy body back, even has a little bastard, how does she deserve the affection of a man as excellent as Leon?

Leon was not to be trifled with, as he seized Jean Shaw and headed for the police station.

"Leon, are you crazy? Let go of my hand." Jean Shaw shouted loudly, her arm aching intensely, yet she couldn’t shake off his grip.

The strength of a man is indeed powerful; Jean Shaw could only be passively dragged along by him, a posture that was utterly embarrassing and uncomfortable.

"What happened?" Officer Thorne heard the noise outside and strode out, seeing Leon had brought Jean Shaw back.

"Officer Thorne, this shrew physically assaulted me, how should she be dealt with?"

"Leon, you’re lying through your teeth, it’s that little bitch Ivana who physically assaulted me... Officer Thorne, look, the slap mark on my face is from Ivana. Arrest her, lock her up, and strike her with an electric baton..."

"Ahh~" Jean Shaw’s foot slipped, and she suddenly fell backward onto the ground, her face showing a bizarre expression of extreme pain: "My... my tailbone..."

"Mom~" Michelle ran over to Jean Shaw’s side in panic, reaching out to hold her up.

"Slow down, slow down, it hurts, it hurts..." Jean Shaw cried out, and after standing up, tears of pain streamed down her face, and she furiously yelled at Leon: "You purposely kicked and tripped me, causing this terrible fall, Officer Thorne, I want to sue him."

"This..." Officer Thorne was somewhat speechless, isn’t he supposed to go to court to sue Leon?

"Yes, I did it on purpose, it’s a pity I didn’t fracture all your sacral nerves and leave you in a wheelchair for the rest of your life." Leon was supremely arrogant.

"Officer Thorne, did you hear him? He’s... he’s too arrogant and vicious. I want to sue him... Officer Thorne, you are my witness."

"Go ahead and sue! If you die from the fall, I can afford it."

"You..." Jean Shaw was livid with rage, her face turned a pig-liver color, her heart trembling uncontrollably: "Leon, you’re going too far, do you really think, just because you have some filthy money, you can do anything in Ravenswood? If you cause my death, prepare to go to jail! My husband and daughter will never forgive you, you murderer."

"Your husband?" Leon’s thin lips curled into a cold smile: "A man who betrayed his former wife, ignored the lives of his former wife and daughter, do you think after an old hag like yourself dies, he’ll give up money for you? He won’t, he’ll take the compensation from your death and marry a younger and more beautiful woman."

Leon’s words were like a steel blade, piercing Jean Shaw’s heart.

Two years ago, Caleb Monroe already had a woman outside, although she wasn’t aware, it was that little wench who sent her bed pictures and told her. She’s been with Caleb Monroe for two years and had abortions for him twice, recently pregnant again.

No wonder Caleb Monroe hardly touched her in the past two years, she used to think he was getting older, his work was tiring him out. Turns out he had another woman outside.

Leon continued to strike: "When you break up other people’s families and force an innocent woman down a path of no return, you should have anticipated that one day, a similarly vicious woman would appear and send you down that same path."

Leon’s cold gaze turned to Michelle: "And you too, the debts and evil deeds you accumulate will eventually need repayment."

Michelle was horrified, feeling a chill throughout her body, she dared not meet Leon’s icy gaze. Was he planning to help Ivana, this skank, to deal with her?

"I don’t understand what you’re saying. My mom didn’t force Ivana’s mother to the edge; it was the aunt herself who was depressed, untreated, dragging herself to death."

Ivana suddenly clenched her fingers, heartache as if being torn apart. If it weren’t for Jean Shaw’s shamelessness, how would her mother have suffered from depression? If it weren’t for Jean Shaw pressing hard after giving birth to Michelle, how would her mother have ended on a path of no return?

All of this was thanks to Jean Shaw.

Ivana’s fingers dug into her palm, the pain making her mind clearer. She would never let these vicious mother and daughter off, by any means necessary, she’d make them pay for their blood debt.

"Depression? Untreated illness? A bloodless way of murdering." Leon sneered coldly.

A black sedan sped over like the wind, stopping after which Caleb Monroe emerged from the driver’s seat, slamming the car door.

He walked over with a dark face, seeing Leon and Ivana, his expression softened, a concerned look appeared: "Ivana, your dad knows about you being kidnapped by the thugs, did they hurt you? Tell me, no matter the cost, I’ll make sure those malicious thugs get life sentences."

Ivana looked at Caleb Monroe’s hypocritical face, feeling no warmth in her heart, only a sense of ridicule. Can’t people have a bit less hypocrisy and a bit more sincerity?

Since you’ve never cared about whether she lives or dies, is there any need for pretend concern now?

Caleb Monroe received no response from Ivana, he turned and asked Leon: "President Kane, is Ivana okay? Her expression seems a bit off."

Leon walked over to Ivana, reaching out to pull her into his embrace: "You should ask your dear wife and daughter, how intolerant of her they are, that they’d come up with such evil and cruel methods, spend big money hiring a homicidal maniac, to murder Ivana?"

Caleb Monroe froze heavily.

Leon held Ivana and walked away, behind them, angry shrew-like cursing was heard from Jean Shaw.

But it didn’t last long as Caleb Monroe dragged her into the sedan.

He started the car engine, driving halfway, Jean Shaw was still cursing and crying.

Caleb Monroe, annoyed by it all, suddenly made a sharp turn with the steering wheel and braked, causing Jean Shaw and the rear-seated Michelle to lurch forward, both banging their heads heavily.
