Chapter 100: Chapter 100: Trying to Drive a Wedge Between Me and Ivana Monroe?
Ivy Linden was overjoyed when Ivana Monroe called her "Ivy."
It felt like being exclusively favored by her idol goddess.
"Ivana, let’s not be so formal with each other. I’ve loved GK’s design style from six years ago and have always wanted to collaborate with you. What I’m doing now is fulfilling a dream from six years ago."
What Ivy Linden said was true. She really loved GK’s style six years ago, but at that time, she had just graduated from college and was starting "Yiren Magazine."
"Yiren Magazine" was just starting out, an unknown little magazine company, with no qualification to collaborate with GK.
Later, she expanded "Yiren Magazine," finally qualifying to talk collaboration with GK, but GK was no longer the GK it used to be. The style had changed, and the quality was unspeakably poor.
She accidentally discovered a fashion designer abroad named Anne, whose style closely resembled the old GK style. She instantly became enamored with Anne’s works.
She had also thought about collaborating with Anne, but that was just a dream. As soon as Anne’s works were released, they were snapped up by the hottest fashion magazines abroad. How could they possibly end up in her "Yiren Magazine"?
Ivy Linden never dreamed she would have a day to collaborate with Anne. Her idol goddess was standing right in front of her, negotiating with her, handing over all the new winter clothes for her to make the cover.
It was just like a dream.
Ivy Linden went home happily, finding Samuel Lockwood lounging on the couch with his legs crossed, reading the newspaper.
Ivy Linden was surprised, "Honey, you’re not working today?"
Samuel Lockwood put down the newspaper, got up, and hugged his little wife, a handsome smile on his face, "There’s no rush. The company is mine. I can go in whenever I want."
Ivy Linden looked at Samuel Lockwood suspiciously. Why were his eyes always on her face? Was there something on her face?
"Ivy, did you settle things with your idol goddess?"
"Honey, you guessed it. My idol goddess was so gentle. She entrusted all her new winter clothes to me for the cover," Ivy Linden said, full of excitement.
"Oh? The cover? She’s quite ambitious!" Samuel Lockwood’s black eyes flashed with a cold smile. He had thoroughly investigated Ivana Monroe’s affairs: extramarital affairs, got pregnant with another man’s child, was left by her ex-husband Zachary Heston and now attached herself to Leon Keane, becoming Leon’s companion.
His little wife was as pure as a little white rabbit. He didn’t want her innocent little wife mixed with a woman like Ivana Monroe.
His little wife wasn’t a match for Ivana. She’d help count the money even after being sold by Ivana.
Ivy Linden lightly punched Samuel Lockwood’s chest, put on a stern face, and said angrily, "I won’t allow you to talk about my idol goddess like that. It was my idea to make all her new winter clothes the cover for Yiren Magazine. It’s my honor to use her design works for the cover."
Samuel Lockwood let out an "ow" as if he was hurt, thinking his little wife would show some concern.
Who knew Ivy Linden had no sympathy for him and even pushed him away.
"Stop pretending. I’m too weak to hurt you," Ivy Linden exposed Samuel Lockwood.
Samuel Lockwood looked at his little wife in amazement, "You could tell? My little wife has gotten smarter."
Ivy Linden pouted, "I’ve always been smart."
Samuel Lockwood took the opportunity to hug her slender waist again, kissed her enticing lips, and seeing his little wife blush, he had an urge to carry her to bed and pamper her properly.
"But Ivy, have you ever thought that Ivana is now the president of GK, and among the works she handed you, maybe only one was truly created by her, and the rest are by other designers?"
Samuel Lockwood feared Ivy Linden was being deceived by Ivana, so he had to remind her.
Ivy Linden said nonchalantly, "So what? I trust her. Even if other designers created them, Anne’s vision ensures they’re masterpieces."
Samuel Lockwood held his forehead. His little wife was completely enthralled with Ivana.
Ivy Linden glared at Samuel Lockwood again, "Don’t think I don’t know you’re just trying to stir things up between me and Ivana. Don’t do it again. It won’t change my love for my idol goddess, and it’ll only make me resent you."
Samuel Lockwood felt a heavy blow to his heart.
Ivy Linden continued, "The new winter clothes by my idol goddess will participate in Ravenswood’s fashion show. I’ll leave the supermodel arrangements to you. Make sure to get the most famous supermodels in Ravenswood for me."
Samuel Lockwood, nursing his wounded heart, said, "Ivy, aren’t you afraid the supermodels will be attracted to your husband’s looks and have thoughts about him?"
Ivy Linden curled her red lips, smiling seductively, "Sure, let them think! But can they have me? Unless... you don’t want me and our daughter anymore."
Samuel Lockwood’s expression changed, and he tightly hugged Ivy Linden, "Don’t say things like that. You and our daughter are the most important in my heart."

Time for school to let out.
Ivana Monroe was already standing at the Wellbright Kindergarten gate. She couldn’t just let Timmy be helplessly picked up by the driver sent by Leon Keane without a word anymore.
Behind her was a very luxurious Rolls Royce, also waiting for the kindergarten children to finish school.
"Timmy."
Timmy Monroe was the first to come out. Hearing Ivana call him, he immediately looked toward her, his handsome young face beaming with a sunny smile, "Mom..."
Ivana Monroe walked up to Timmy Monroe, ruffling his hair. It seemed like today, Timmy Monroe had returned to his original self. She squatted in front of him and gently said, "Timmy, mom wants to discuss something with you. Mom will have to work late tonight, so would it be okay for you to stay at Uncle Kane’s house for the night?"
After the last experience, Ivana didn’t dare promise to pick him up at night again, fearing it would be too late and disrupt his normal sleep.
Timmy Monroe’s eyes sparkled brilliantly. He was worried if his mom recognized him, he wouldn’t be able to go home when his brother came out later.
Seeing the boy not speaking, Ivana took his little hands in hers, "I promise, I’ll definitely bring Timmy home tomorrow."
With a childish voice, Timmy Monroe said, "Mom, if you’re working late, don’t come home too late. Take care of yourself, okay? Timmy will behave at Uncle Kane’s house. There’s another big brother there, and Timmy likes him too! You don’t have to worry about Timmy."
Ivana’s eyes brimmed with tears, seeing how understanding Timmy was. Her Timmy had returned, and she hugged him tightly, choking up, "Timmy, my good boy."
At this moment, leaning against the wall at the crowded kindergarten gate, stood another boy who looked just like Timmy, with a handsome but not sunny face, looking rather cold.
