Chapter 329: Menstrual Period

Chapter 329: Chapter 329: Menstrual Period

Leon Keane put down the opened ginger brown sugar drink: "Honey, what do you want me to do?"

Ivana Monroe blushed and said, "Help me to the bathroom."

Leon frowned. Her feet couldn’t even touch the ground, and she asked him to help her to the bathroom?

Leon lifted the quilt, and a strong smell of blood drifted over. His gaze shifted down, seeing her pants already stained red with fresh blood.

Ivana was mortified and raised her hand to cover his eyes.

"Don’t look."

"How can I carry you without looking?"

Leon took away her small hand, seeing her face as red as a fiery sunset. He bent down gently, picked Ivana up, and carried her to the bathroom.

"You can go out now. I can change myself."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Leon squatted in front of her: "If you can touch your toes with your fingers, I’ll believe you."

Ivana: "..."

She reached out her hand but discovered that without any support, her body would tilt downward when she did.

Leon supported her delicate body, smiling as he said, "Don’t struggle, what part of your body haven’t I seen?"

Ivana was so ashamed she wanted to dig a hole to hide in.

Seeing this, Leon was in a pleasant mood. He helped her change and then gently placed Ivana back on the hospital bed, treating her like a treasured jewel.

Ivana lay on the bed, and a wave of intense pain surged from her abdomen. She frowned distressingly, "It hurts so much."

Leon was heartbroken. He first opened a heat patch, placed it on Ivana’s small belly, covered her with the quilt, and then prepared some hot ginger brown sugar drink for her.

After feeding her.

Leon held Ivana’s small hand and pressed on her Hegu acupuncture point.

Ivana felt pain, withdrew her hand, and weakly exclaimed, "Leon Keane, why are you pressing on me?"

Leon held tightly, saying gently, "Pressing on this point can relieve menstrual pain, you’ll feel better soon."

Ivana doubted him!

It hurt like hell.

"It’s okay, I’m already feeling much better." She drank the ginger tea; naturally, the effect wouldn’t come so quickly. Ivana feared the pain in her hand and pretended to be well.

"No way you could feel better so fast, Derrick said it takes at least an hour for your menstrual pain to ease," Leon exposed her lie.

Ivana screamed from Leon’s pressing, cursing Derrick secretly.

The problem that could have been solved with a heat patch and ginger tea, why teach Leon to press the Hegu point?

And describe the situation so thoroughly? Derrick missed his calling as a women’s health advisor.

About ten minutes later.

Leon saw that Ivana’s Hegu point was red and bruised from his pressing, and he didn’t dare continue, starting to doubt Derrick—does this method really work?

If it doesn’t, isn’t Ivana suffering needlessly?

It better work.

Otherwise...

He’ll let Derrick experience the feeling of having his Hegu point pressed.

Strangely enough.

After Leon pressed Ivana’s Hegu point, her menstrual pain seemed less severe. Her whole body relaxed, drowsiness kicked in, and she soon drifted off to sleep.

Leon watched her peaceful sleeping face, no trace of pain on her pale face. His eyes flashed with warmth, and he leaned down to kiss her forehead, then lay gently beside her.

During the day.

Laura Thompson called Susan Heston: "Susie, have you found out Ivana’s whereabouts?"

Susan was frustrated; she had spent several thousand, but the people she sent out couldn’t find Ivana’s whereabouts. Ivana seemed to have vanished into thin air, and she wasn’t going to the "Trendsetter" company anymore.

Susan had a bad feeling, could it be that Ivana really got involved with Sean Vaughn?

Sean Vaughn’s family is so wealthy, supporting several Ivana’s wouldn’t be an issue. Ivana wouldn’t need to run that struggling company to make hard-earned money.

Susan was infuriated; Sean Vaughn was hers, and Ivana should not even think of taking him away.

Susan said, "Why are you in such a rush? I’m more anxious than you are. Give me a couple more days, and once I find her, I’ll call you."

Laura became impatient: "Susie, didn’t you say you used to do well in the film crew? How come you can’t even find Ivana’s whereabouts? The people you’re sending are incompetent, or are they just not paid enough?"

Susan twitched her mouth.

If it wasn’t for wanting to use Laura against Ivana, she would have already had a falling out with Laura, this fake friend.

Deliberately poking her in the back?

How she was doing in the crew is none of Laura’s business?

She had already spent several thousand, was that not enough? If Laura was so good, why didn’t she spend her money to investigate?

Laura hadn’t spent a dime, so what right did she have to complain?

Susan rolled her eyes slyly and said deviously, "I did well thanks to my cousin Isaac, and now Isaac’s siding with Ivana. Do you think the crew would honestly inform me and offend my cousin?"

Laura trembled with rage, "Bitch."

Susan laughed and continued, "I’ve spent so much and still haven’t found her. Could Ivana be kept by a rich man? Oh, by the way, I haven’t seen my cousin Isaac these days; he’s deliberately hiding his whereabouts from me. Laura, do you think my cousin is with Ivana now?"

Laura fumed, "Impossible, Susie, don’t use Ivana to insult Isaac, okay? Ivana’s a trash who’s had kids, only old men over fifty would fancy her. Isaac is so outstanding, Ivana doesn’t even deserve to tie his shoes."

Susan said, "You never know, Ivana’s got lots of ways to seduce a man! Maybe my cousin couldn’t resist her allure and got together with her, it’s possible."

Laura couldn’t stand it anymore; Susan must be saying this to get on her nerves!

Laura said, "Stop talking, you’re making me sick. Call me immediately when you find Ivana. I’m hanging up."

Finally, no more of her annoying voice.

Susan heard the call end and curled her lips.

Damn it, where is Ivana hiding, making her search like crazy?

Suddenly.

Susan thought of a sinister trick.

Though she didn’t want to go that far, to force Ivana to show up, she had no choice.

Mount Cygnus Hospital.

The system had been sabotaged continuously for three days, directly causing severe financial loss.

If this continues, Mount Cygnus will be finished.

Dean Quinn looked for the best hacker in Ravenswood, but no one could solve the problem; he then instructed Jack Quinn to contact the world’s fifth-best hacker abroad.

Jack Quinn, through a friend, got in touch with George.

"Hi, I’m a classmate of XX... Jack Quinn... Mr. George, you should be aware of the situation on our end. Can you guarantee one hundred percent virus removal?"

"Of course, the virus on your side is child’s play for me, solving it is a matter of minutes."

George spoke with confidence, which made Jack Quinn, and Vincent Quinn beside him, breathe a sigh of relief.

"That’s great, then Mr. George, let’s talk about the price now!"

"Ten million US Dollars, non-negotiable."

Jack Quinn was dumbfounded, wasn’t it supposed to range from several hundred thousand to ten million US Dollars? Why did George start with the highest price? Does he think he’s a fat sheep to slaughter?
