Chapter 303: Venting One’s Anger

Chapter 303: Chapter 303: Venting One’s Anger

"Mm, don’t worry, godmother. Timmy is a little man and will take good care of mommy."

Stacy Floyd relaxed with a smile; how lucky is Ivana? She gave birth to such a handsome and warm-hearted little angel.

Aunt Golding took Timmy Monroe away.

Stacy Floyd did not walk out of the hospital doors, and Amy saw Stacy turn around and head toward the stairway next to it.

Amy was surprised, "Sis, where are you going?"

"Going to settle a score."

Stacy Floyd dropped a sentence.

Amy was stunned for a moment, then she hurried to block Stacy Floyd.

"Sis, don’t! You’re a public figure; if you make a scene in the hospital and the media expose this, you’ll be blacklisted."

Oh, Timmy, dear little ancestor, what did you whisper to sis?

Amy almost felt like crying.

"Get out of the way."

Stacy Floyd couldn’t hear Amy’s words; she was too angry. Timmy had told her in secret that the woman who hurt Ivana wasn’t like how Ivana described.

Julia Sinclair did it on purpose; she has designs on Leon Keane.

"No, sis, I won’t get out of the way. As your assistant, when your brain loses its calm, I am responsible for stopping you from impulsive actions that could hurt your image."

"Haha... I hereby announce, you’re fired."

"What?"

Stacy Floyd pulled Amy’s hand away.

At that moment, two doctors in white coats passed by.

"Ladies, this is a hospital, please don’t shout loudly or fight with each other."

The speaking young doctor was Evan Reed; he had just been assigned here as Leo Griffin’s assistant, about to examine a patient and perform foot surgery.

"Sorry, we’re not fighting; my sister is in a bad mood, sorry to have disturbed you." Amy apologized through tears.

However, Stacy Floyd’s actions startled Amy.

Stacy Floyd directly took off her sunglasses, her flaming red lips slightly curving, smiling beautifully, "Hi! I wanted to inquire, which ward is Dr. Julia Sinclair in?"

Evan Reed widened his eyes in surprise, his tongue tied, "You... you... you’re the superstar, Stacy Floyd?"

Stacy Floyd smiled and said, "Mm. Is that a problem?"

Evan Reed trembled with excitement all over, "No... no problem."

Evan Reed was a fan of Stacy Floyd; he adored her immensely. Seeing the goddess right in front of him, his brain had already stopped thinking, and without even asking why Stacy was looking for Julia Sinclair, he immediately told her.

"Dr. Julia Sinclair is in room 704 on the second floor."

Amy shouted internally: don’t say it!

Unfortunately, Evan had already spoken, and even if it hadn’t, Amy probably couldn’t have stopped Evan.

Oh my god, such close contact with the goddess.

The goddess even spoke to him, wow! So happy.

Evan Reed was enveloped in hearts of happiness.

"Thanks."

Stacy Floyd wasn’t stingy; she gave Evan a super charming smile, striding gracefully up the stairs in high heels.

"Sis, don’t go... don’t go..."

Amy chased closely behind.

Evan Reed was too happy, resting his cheeks on his hands, with a mesmerized look.

Suddenly, his head was hit painfully.

Leo Griffin had given him a knock on the head.

"Dr. Griffin, why did you hit me?"

"Still gazing mindlessly? She’s gone, and you’re still staring?"

"Stacy goddess was so beautiful!"

"Can her beauty feed you? That kind of woman, you can look but never taste in this lifetime. Better be practical, earn more money, and marry a pretty wife home."

Evan Reed had only graduated a year ago; as a newcomer in the hospital, he was diligent, honest, and easy to boss around. People bullied him, easily swaying him with a few words, thinking others were doing it for his good.

After hearing Leo Griffin’s words, he nodded, "Dr. Griffin, don’t worry! I’ll work hard. Even if I can’t marry a pretty wife, I’ll earn enough money to attend Stacy goddess’s concerts!"

What an idiot.

Selling himself out, the fool even helped count the money!

Seeing Evan’s honest face, Leo Griffin couldn’t help but associate it with his past self, hoping things would go smoothly this time!

To be honest.

He didn’t want Evan Reed, this silly guy, to take the blame for him.

Second floor, in front of room 704.

Amy ran quickly and reached Stacy Floyd, spreading her arms wide like a mighty eagle, blocking the door to room 704.

At this moment, Amy’s phone rang.

Tears welled up in Amy’s eyes; she dared not answer, pleading softly, "Sis, I’m begging you, stop causing a scene. I know you’re heartbroken for Ms. Monroe and want to vent for her."

"But venting like this is absolutely not right. Sis, have you considered? Julia Sinclair is a doctor here, if you rush in now, whether you scold her or hit her, you’ll feel good. But what about Ms. Monroe? Ms. Monroe is still staying in this hospital!"

"Sis, listen to me, patience in turbulent times, step back, and the world will be at peace. Let’s wait for Ms. Monroe to be discharged and then settle this with her."

Stacy Floyd’s anger gradually subsided, talking was like piercing her heart as she feared Julia Sinclair’s retaliation against Ivana Monroe in the hospital.

"Fine, I’ll wait, once Ivana is discharged, I’ll come for her. Amy, if you stop me then, you needn’t follow me anymore, nor call me sister."

"I won’t stop you, absolutely won’t stop you. Then, if Sis wants to scold her, Amy will scold with you; if you want to hit her, Amy will hit her with you."

Amy spoke with loyalty, already planning internally; there would be no next time, she’d call Ivana to stop Stacy Floyd.

Stacy Floyd listens to no one but Ivana.

VIP room 2.

Leo Griffin and Evan Reed walked in.

Ivana Monroe frowned, why are they here again?

Leo Griffin calmly said, "VIP patients will receive a complimentary health check, aiding medical staff to better understand patient conditions."

"Reed, please wheel Ms. Monroe into the examination room. Ms. Monroe’s foot injury is severe, push slowly; don’t hurt her."

"Oh, okay."

The bed in the ward can be directly wheeled away, no need to transfer Ivana Monroe onto a wheelchair or stretcher.

"I had a health check-up two months ago, I have a health certificate; can’t I skip the examination?"

Ivana Monroe’s injury was on her foot; everything else was perfectly fine, and she felt there was no need for this free examination.

Evan Reed opened his mouth, just about to say "it’s okay."

Leo Griffin spoke first, "This is for your health, Ms. Monroe. Please cooperate with our work."

What else could Ivana Monroe say?

Ivana Monroe was wheeled out of the ward by Evan Reed.

"Grandma Golding, those two clumsy doctors, let’s follow them to see if we can help mommy." Timmy Monroe, wise beyond his years, took the calloused hand of Grandma Golding voluntarily.

"Okay."

Even if Timmy Monroe hadn’t said it, Grandma Golding would take him along to take care of Ivana Monroe.

She didn’t think much else, just thinking Ivana’s foot was not well, and two grown men could have inappropriate ways of examining, where she could lend a hand.
