Leo Griffin finally said, "Now you know, it’s absolutely impossible for Ivana Monroe to take the Kane family’s money to support her father. Besides, Mr. Monroe’s life is nearing its end, and money is of no use."

"It’s nothing."

Ivana didn’t think too much, arriving at the luxury car, she first opened the back door for the two children to get in. Leon helped Ivana open the front passenger door, waited for her to get in, and then sat in the driver’s seat.
The luxury car pulled out of the parking space, his deep gaze looked in a particular direction, precisely the direction Ivana had just turned to look back.

Kyle Sinclair broke free of Julia Sinclair: "Sis, what are you doing? We had a good chance just now to get rid of Ivana."
It was all because his sister stopped him; otherwise, Ivana would be a corpse by now.
Julia raised her palm and gave Kyle a slap.
Kyle was stunned by the slap, muttering, "Sis, you hit me?"
Julia had always been kind and protective towards him, never willing to hit him so hard. For his illness, Julia gave it her all.
So, this slap, rather than landing on his face, felt like it was aimed at Kyle’s heart.
His heart ached.
The pain wasn’t Kyle’s alone, Julia’s heart hurt too.
Julia, with eyes reddened, said, "Give me the gun."
Kyle refused, so Julia reached out to snatch it. Kyle tightly protected the gun: "Sis, I know I was wrong. Please, don’t take my gun. This was left to me for self-defense by Jack Quinn."
Julia felt like laughing. Self-defense? More like murder?
Julia forcibly took Kyle’s gun, seeing Kyle reach for it, she directly stuffed the gun inside her undergarment, leaving Kyle unable to get his hands on it.

She feared more for Kyle’s wellbeing than killing Ivana.

Julia didn’t know exactly what happened to Jack right now, but she could guess it wasn’t good. She’s so scared that if Kyle harmed Ivana, Leon would move against Kyle.

Kyle blamed himself. He always believed Julia and Leon were in love, and it was Ivana who seduced Leon, causing his sister to lose her love. If Ivana were gone, Leon would return to Julia’s side.
"Don’t say anymore," Julia’s eyes showed pain. "Leon and I are not meant to be together."
To get rid of Ivana wasn’t Kyle’s job; she had a better candidate, the old man of the Quinn family. With Jack’s whereabouts unknown, the Quinn family was going crazy.
If she sent intelligence now that Jack was killed by Ivana, the old man of the Quinn family wouldn’t spare Ivana.
Julia didn’t tell Kyle this plan. She wanted Kyle to live in the light. She could be in the dark but didn’t want Kyle to be darkened too.
However, Julia didn’t realize Kyle had memorized the pain in her eyes, and his hatred for Ivana surged once again.
"Who says that? Sis and Mr. Kane are meant to be together." He would create that "fate" for Julia, even at the cost of his life.
After sending Kyle to the hospital, Julia arrived at Old Man Peyton’s villa.
