Chapter 87: Cultivation Meets Biology

Chapter 87: Cultivation Meets Biology

Garion crossed his arms, staring at the new screen floating in front of him.

"Alright. Let’s see what changed."

The first thing he noticed was obvious. The entire God Gym had expanded again.

The hall stretched wider, the ceilings taller, and the building seemed to hum with stronger mana.

But aside from that and the increase in disciple capacity, nothing else looked much different than before.

But then, his eyes narrowed as he looked at the new mission list.

"’Fill all the members slots’... it was quite doable. ’Turn all direct disciples into Mana Core Realm Cultivators’... also looked doable."

He rubbed the back of his neck, seeing the third one.

"But ’Reach the Third Realm’..."

He could only sigh. "I don’t even know what the name of the third realm is yet."

He looked at the screen again.

"And these two locked missions? Great. The system’s teasing me again."

He took a deep breath and sat on one of the benches, staring at the glowing screen.

"Just... dang."

Then his eyes moved to one of the new facilities.

"And also, what the hell is this ’Learning Hall’ supposed to be?

And suddenly, just right on cue, another screen appaered.

---

[Learning Hall]

[Description: A facility where members can study and master any subject, from cultivation and body training to science, math, and strategy.]

---

Garion blinked.

"Science? Math? Strategy?"

He rubbed his chin.

"So you’re telling me this thing can teach them everything?"

He thought for a moment, then scowled.

"Wait. Since when do you start giving me descriptions when I ask?"

The system, of course, remained silent.

"...Typical," he sighed.

"Fine. If you’re feeling generous, you might as well share the rest of the details with me. Show me the description of other facilities."

One by one, the screens appeared again.

---

[Training Hall]

[Description: The main area for physical and mana training. Equipped with divine-grade tools and weights that adjust to each member’s strength level.]

---

[Restaurant and Bar]

[Description: Provides divine meals and supplements that restore stamina, boost recovery, and enhance cultivation efficiency.]

---

[Dormitory]

[Description: Living quarters for disciples. Each room adjusts to the occupant’s mana type, providing optimal rest and energy flow.]

---

Garion whistled softly.

"Now that’s an upgrade.

He stood, stretching his arms.

"So, everything just got stronger, smarter, and more comfortable."

He then walked toward the training hall, smirking, thinking that it’s time.

"It seems it’s finally time to teach them the true core of the God Gym, the [God Physique Cultivation Art]."

---

Garion entered the training hall and took a deep breath.

The disciples were still lying on the floor, half-asleep after the sparring with Dahlia earlier.

Garion clapped his hands loudly.

"Wake up!"

The shout echoed across the hall, waking the disciples up instantly.

Some of them tripped over each other, and some were still rubbing their eyes in panic.

"What... Master? What’s happening?"

"It’s not training again, right?"

Garion crossed his arms, his face calm.

"Today, we will not be training."

The entire room froze for a moment, then erupted in cheers.

"Really!?"

"We’re free!?"

"Finally, my body can rest!"

Garion raised a finger.

"But that doesn’t mean you’re free."

Their smiles vanished.

He turned and started walking toward the exit.

"Come with me."

The disciples exchanged looks but followed quickly, still yawning and muttering under their breath.

When they reached the new Learning Hall, every disciple stopped dead in their tracks.

The hall was enormous, lined with glowing panels, bookshelves filled with strange texts, and seats arranged in circular, rising rows, much like an academic lecture hall.

"Whoa..."

"What is this place?"

"Did we always have a place like this?"

Garion smiled faintly.

"No. This is new. The God Gym isn’t just an ordinary sect building. It’s a living, magical item. Sometimes, when it upgrades, new facilities appear."

The disciples gasped.

"So it’s really alive?"

"A magic item this big... how high grade is it?"

"Probably divine-level!"

Garion chuckled, walking to the center of the room.

"Don’t think too hard. What matters is how we use it."

He gestured to the circular, elevated seats.

"Now, all of you. Please sit down."

The disciples obeyed, sitting down in large circular seats around him.

Garion stood in the center like a lecturer, his tone shifting to something serious.

"Let me ask you something. Do you know why I told you not to cultivate mana when you first joined?"

The disciples looked at one another, unsure.

One raised his hand nervously.

"Because... we’re body cultivators, right? We don’t cultivate mana."

Garion shook his head.

"Not exactly. We do train mana, but differently."

Another tried with a different answer.

"Because our bodies aren’t strong enough yet?"

Garion nodded.

"A good answer, but not quite a full one."

Then a third spoke up.

"It’s because the God Gym has its own cultivation method, right? you were waiting until we could handle it."

Garion smirked.

"Exactly. That’s the right answer."

The disciples’ faces lit up.

"So... are we finally learning it today?"

Garion grinned.

"Not yet."

Groans filled the room.

"Whaaat?"

"Master, you’re teasing us again!"

"At least tell us what it’s called!"

Garion chuckled.

"You’ll learn it soon. But before that, you need something important first, and that is... knowledge."

The disciples were confused.

"Knowledge?"

"What kind?"

He turned around, went to the table in the center, waved his hand, and with a shimmer of light... Thud!

A covered body appeared on a large metal table, shocking them all.

And when Garion pulled the cloth away, they all gasped.

"Is... is that a corpse!?"

"Master, what are you doing!?"

Garion smirked.

"Relax. This is what I called a cadaver."

He tapped the table lightly.

"A cadaver is a body used for learning. This one has been treated, so no decay or even smell whatsoever."

The disciples stared at it nervously.

Garion continued, his voice steady.

"Today, I’ll teach you about the human body, which is our real foundation. Organs, muscles, blood, bones, and anything related to the body."

The disciples were shocked, unsure of how to reply.
