Chapter 83: Run or Lose Your Meat
The training hall was a battlefield of exhaustion.
Dozens of disciples lay sprawled across the floor, their arms and legs spread out like those of fallen soldiers.
Even with the massive breakfast and the fiery Demonic Creatine coursing through their body, they were still done for.
Every part of their body was basically screaming and begging for mercy.
They were in this condition because Dahlia had gone completely insane.
In one day, she had forced them to go through nearly every exercise she knew... all chained together without rest.
And thanks to the creatine heightened focus effect, they couldn’t even forget what she taught them.
Each stance, each form correction, every painful repetition was now burned permanently into their memory.
Meanwhile, Dahlia was still full of energy, doing some more exercises.
While most of the disciples had barely managed to lift 30 to 40 kilograms for their exercises...
Dahlia had gone all-in, using between 100 and 200 kilograms for everything...
Even her lateral raises, one of the most challenging exercises, were done with 100 kilograms, shocking everyone.
"Senior Sister’s not human..."
"She’s a demon in disguise..."
"Even demons would’ve passed out by now."
Dahlia then put back her dumbbells and stood in front of them.
She looked around at her defeated disciples with an expression of disapproval.
"What’s wrong with all of you? You’re tired already?"
No one replied, too tired to reply to her.
Dahlia sighed, shaking her head.
"Pathetic. I said this is body cultivation, not nap cultivation."
Garion chuckled quietly.
"You might’ve gone a little too far this time."
Dahlia turned to him with a glare.
"Master, you told me to train them properly."
He smiled.
"I didn’t say ’train them to death.’"
She rolled her eyes and turned back to the disciples.
"Alright, enough lying around. Training’s done for the day."
A collective sigh of relief echoed through the hall.
Dahlia then clapped her hands loudly.
"Now... It’s time to eat!"
Half the disciples groaned again.
"I can’t even move my arms..."
"I think I left my legs somewhere behind..."
Dahlia smirked.
"Then crawl. I’m not waiting for you."
She spun on her heel and started walking toward the restaurant, stretching her arms and cracking her neck.
"Remember," she said loudly.
"I also drank Demonic Creatine today. And I’m super hungry."
The disciple froze.
She looked over her shoulder with a wicked grin.
"So if you don’t get up now..."
She flexed one arm slightly, her muscles tightening.
"I’ll eat all your share too."
That single threat was enough.
Within seconds, the disciples suddenly scrambled to their feet.
Some limped, some crawled, and others clung to each other just to stand up.
A few of them shouted as they stumbled toward the restaurant.
"Move! She’s serious this time!"
"I’m not losing my meat again!"
"Help me! My legs are jelly!"
Dahlia smirked, watching the chaos.
"Good. At least you can still move when you’re scared of being hungry."
Then she turned and dashed toward the restaurant, shocking all others with her speed and scaring them.
"Senior Sister’s running! Run faster!"
"She’s going to eat everything!"
The disciples broke into a messy sprint, tripping over each other, shouting and pushing.
Garion stood near the training hall door, arms crossed, laughing quietly.
"She’s worse than all of them combined."
By the time the first group reached the restaurant, Dahlia had already grabbed a huge plate and piled it high with food.
Dahlia didn’t wait for anyone. She just sat down and started eating like a starving beast.
Her hands moved fast. Meat bones piled beside her plate as she devoured everything in reach.
"Mm... finally! This is what I needed!"
The disciples’ faces quickly turned pale, realizing half of the food was gone.
"Senior Sister! Leave some for us!"
"Don’t eat everything!"
Dahlia turned to them with her mouth still full.
"Then move faster next time!"
One brave disciple tried to grab a piece of meat near her.
Dahlia’s hand shot out and slapped his hand away without even looking.
"Touch my food again, and you’ll be doing squats all night."
The poor disciple froze.
"Y-yes, Senior Sister..."
Meanwhile, Garion entered slowly, chuckling.
He took a seat at the far end, watching the chaos unfold like a proud director watching his masterpiece.
One disciple shouted.
"I can’t believe I trained just to fight for food!"
Another replied.
"This isn’t training anymore. It’s survival!"
Dahlia wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, still chewing.
"Welcome to the real God Gym! If you want strength, learn to fight for your meal!"
Garion laughed loudly, "Well said!"
A few moments later, the disciples finally managed to grab whatever leftovers were left and collapsed into their seats.
Dahlia leaned back, rubbing her stomach.
"Ahh... now that’s a proper dinner."
Garion smirked.
"You ate more than all of them combined."
She shrugged.
"Well, I trained harder."
A disciple whispered weakly, "She’s really a monster."
Dahlia grinned, pointing her fork at him.
"A monster who can still train tomorrow morning."
The disciples groaned in defeat.
"We’re doomed."
Garion laughed, enjoying their misery.
"Good. That means you’re learning the true spirit of the God Gym."
He then clapped his hands, and two wooden crates appeared beside him.
The disciple froze.
"Wait... not again..."
Garion smirked.
"Remember to take your Demonic Protein before sleeping. It’ll help your body recover."
A wave of groans filled the room.
"Not that bitter thing again..."
"It tastes like dirt!"
"My tongue went numb for an hour last time!"
Garion crossed his arms.
"You want power or comfort? Choose."
The disciples sighed in defeat and slowly reached for the bottles.
"Good. Now drink it and rest early. Tomorrow’s another full day."
He turned to Dahlia.
"Dahlia, go back to your room and clean up. I’ll come by later. There’s something we need to talk about."
Dahlia raised her eyebrow but nodded.
"Alright, Master. Don’t take too long."
She stretched her arms, turning back to her room.
Behind her, the disciples were still groaning, seeing the bitter supplements.
Garion just smiled quietly.
"Perfect ending to a good day."
