Chapter 53: First Client
A few days had passed since Han’s arrival in Steeferce City, the Steel Fortress.
He spent most of his time on the Scarlet Cauldron and melee combat while his maids kept the Maid Restaurant bringing in good money. Hanna reported that a few Awberg Knights had tried their services and enjoyed them. She also suspected a few Dark Practitioners were among the clients, but she couldn’t name their affiliations.
Even so, Han didn’t press her. The Outside Team’s main goal was to learn about Steeferce’s connections, not the Underworld. Tracking the Awberg’s objectives was just as important.
Awberg maintains the Order of Law and keeps an eye on the Dark Families, in this case, the Nevolnik Family. I’m curious what else they do.
After days of practice with Bellatrix, Han was ready to open his clinic. Denver had earlier asked him to look at the slaves’ wounds, which sped his progress.
Denver brought up the Arena Pit again, and Han agreed to go soon. He was curious how the strengthened slaves would fare and whether it was as entertaining as Denver claimed.
For now, Han opened his clinic and waited for his first clients. He expected at least one. Denver had promised to help. His connections came in handy, and he was now a regular at the Maid Restaurant.
Soon, a woman in black robes and a festival mask pushed through the clinic doors. She spotted an older maid in an official black suit sitting behind the desk. Everything looked professional, so she stepped up and introduced herself.
"I’m from Denver. You guys can handle diseases, right?" she asked.
"Of course," the maid, acting as receptionist, nodded.
She led the woman to the room where Han and Bellatrix were discussing blood like a pair of freaks. At the bell, they straightened and smiled. Han sat behind his desk in a black suit, while Bellatrix wore a black dress that didn’t hide her curves.
"Welcome, Missy. You’re from Denver, I believe," Han said as he leaned his head on his right hand and reclined in his chair.
The woman nodded. "Yep. Feel free to call me Sera. I’m a whore working at the Red Lantern Brothel. You can imagine why I came to you."
"You must have contracted a disease from a client. Since brothels are common here, treatment is expensive. No wonder you came with just Denver’s recommendation," Han replied.
"Exactly. They don’t want us gone and want to overwork us to death, so they’re clearly in cahoots with other clinics. You may have some people knocking on your door soon, Handsome Healer. Well, I’m sure you’re prepared for it since you have Denver as a friend," Sera said with a chuckle.
"Yeah. So I’ll need you to spread the word, as Denver said you would," Han chuckled.
Han already knew this woman and the struggles whores faced. They worked long hours and ended up with all kinds of wounds from kinks or careless clients. They also proved useful. They met so many people they could mention a good healer during foreplay or sex and help Han get clients.
One word from a whore to another, and it could backfire or work wonders.
Sera smiled. "That is, if you can heal my disease."
"Obviously," Han smiled back. "To confirm, you contracted it through intercourse, right?"
"Sex. Yes."
"How much do you know about the disease?"
"It hurts when I piss, and the urine’s too dark. That tells me enough."
"Alright, no need to take off your robes. Just lie on the bed, relax, close your eyes, and let us handle the rest," Han said, gesturing at the bed in the corner of the room.
The woman listened and lay down comfortably, eyes shut. Han activated his Scarlet Cauldron, which conjured itself beneath her, along with his Analysis Spell. He looked into her body and found the disease, a swarm of worms formed from mana.
Mana makes things so much easier.
Han’s Scarlet Cauldron burned the blood in that layer. He kept control even as color returned to her face and she whimpered, feeling like she was in a sauna. He didn’t simply burn the disease and its mana spores. He did it in a controlled, precise manner, burning in pulses. The Cauldron kept the heat inside the infected layer, leaving healthy tissue untouched.
Easy. Pulse, don’t scorch.
That’s about it. Now I just need to flush it out. Since she’s enjoying the heat, I’ll make her perspire and push it out through sweat.
Sweat carried the inert residue and mana ash out through her pores.
Han poured on the heat.
"Mhmm," Sera moaned, her lips parted and her hair sticking to her skin.
"Handsome... Doctor... are you really healing me? It feels a little too good..." she asked.
"You want me to hurt you?" Han asked, smiling.
"No, no... mmm, that’s nice."
"Well, I told you not to take off your robes, but it turns out it would have been better if you had, since you’re sweating a lot now. My bad. I’m still new to this. Forgive me."
"I forgive you~~" she flirted.
At the end of the session, Han let Sera use the bathroom. She showered, her cheeks still warm from the session. Then she felt the urge to pee. Usually, it made her wince because of the disease, but now she felt confident enough to let it out.
"Ah..."
It was normal, but without the pain, it felt so good she moaned again. The color of her urine looked clear, so it was obvious everything had been healed.
Clean. Good.
She stepped out wrapped in a towel, cheeks still warm.
"Thanks, Handsome Healer! It was way better than any other healing I’ve ever received! I’ll make sure you get many more clients, so just stay safe and stay the same! You’re the best!"
"You have my thanks. I have a soft spot for first-timers. Do your part, and you’ll have a permanent discount."
"Oh my! You’re the bestest! Want a quickie?"
"I still need to do my research, but I’ll keep your offer in mind," Han replied tactfully, not wanting to displease her.
Sera grinned. "Yeah, you’d rather do your hot assistant, right? Haha! Have fun tonight!"
And with those words, the first client happily rushed out of the clinic to spread the word about Han.
