Gu Yanjing walked out of the room to find Qiao Yuxian sitting on the steps, a cushion under her, head down, kicking a small stone back and forth.
Shen Wenyan was standing not far from her, watching her.
Hearing the footsteps, Qiao Yuxian turned around. Seeing Gu Yanjing come out, she immediately stood up and asked, "How is Auntie?"

Seeing Gu Yanjing arrive, Chu Zhengran and Lin Huai Shu both stood up and walked towards him.

Gu Yanjing said nothing, walking over to sit by the chair inside.
Chu Zhengran and Lin Huai Shu also sat down.
Qiao Yuxian sat next to Gu Yanjing, touching his cold hand, and asked, "Did they catch the leader from the Sixth Hospital?"
"Yes," Chu Zhengran replied, "He’s still here. Do you want to see him?"

Chu Zhengran looked towards Gu Yanjing.

They dared to target Yan An, so they couldn’t possibly leave the Capital City alive.

Su Qi nodded, walking directly towards the man.

Chu Zhengran gave her a warm smile.
Though the same gentle smile, Qiao Yuxian found it terrifying now.
She politely returned a smile and sat back next to Gu Yanjing.
Gu Yanjing asked, "Qin Rui?"
Initially, they hadn’t noticed. But when he mentioned Qin Xia, they started to feel he resembled Qin Xia.
Given the man’s age and the information they had, their first thought was Qin Xia’s brother who wanted to kill her. Qin Rui.
