"You kissed me," Gu Yanjing repeated softly.
"Why are you still being unreasonable and denying it?" Qiao Yuxian was about to get mad but then deflated halfway, muttering softly, "I did it, so it counts as my kiss."
"Okay," Gu Yanjing agreed.
"Then you can’t blame Special Assistant Su," Qiao Yuxian said.
Gu Yanjing paused and said, "Let’s negotiate a condition."
Qiao Yuxian looked at him cautiously, then after a few seconds, said, "You go first; let me hear if it’s reasonable."
Gu Yanjing pinched her little face and said, "I won’t interfere with your internship, but we go to work together and have lunch here."
Knowing his wife was in his company, yet not seeing her all day, Mr. Gu felt that was unacceptable.
Qiao Yuxian repeated what he said several times in her mind, confirming that he didn’t lay a trap, she said, "If I agree, you won’t mention this to Special Assistant Su anymore?"
"Yes," Gu Yanjing said.
