The woman’s face darkened when she heard this, and she retorted, "Watch your words. I came under Commander Pei’s order. Before we complete our mission, I won’t go back."
"Then you should do your part better. Did you know that the thing you did last time alarmed Xun Che and his men?" the man snorted.
"You can’t blame me for this. If not for your men’s mistakes, would they know about this?" the woman replied, unwilling to be blamed.
"Alright, let’s stop blaming each other. Now, what should we do?" the man asked, annoyance clear in his voice.
"Right now, we only know that the last signal from our agent came from this base. But we couldn’t pinpoint the exact location of Subject Eighty Eight. From the information we have, Subject Eighty Eight might be hidden by Xun Che in a secret laboratory," the woman said.
"So, you want to divert their attention and manpower using this matter and search for the secret laboratory?" the man asked with a hint of realization.
"Well, we still haven’t found the exact location of the secret laboratory. But with the security weakened, it makes it easier for us to move," the woman nodded.
"Understood. I will inform our people and let them search for the secret laboratory."
"Good. If there is nothing important, don’t come find me. If we are exposed, everything we did will be in vain and we might drag Commander Pei Xun into this matter," the woman warned him.
"I know what to do. Don’t worry," the man replied and left the place.
Hiding behind the wall, Qin Luzi finally understood what was going on. Since they were spies, there was no way he would let them go.
With a snap of his fingers, the atoms around them changed, and the sound of explosions echoed in the area.

The woman and the man never expected that they were exposed and were caught off guard by the sneak attacks. While the explosions didn’t kill them, they were severely wounded and lost consciousness from the pain.
Without wasting time, Qin Luzi dashed toward them and tied them up using a rope he found nearby. When Wang He arrived, he was taken aback to see two injured people tied up like dumplings near the piles of mutilated body parts.
