After saying this, he left the room to make a phone call. He called three times before the call was finally picked up.

Recalling Jin Xuyan’s warning about zombie rats before, Mo Junjie knew the importance of the answer.
If the maggots were infected by the corpses, then this matter lay with the ability-users. If the maggots were not infected by the corpses, then this matter might put the base in danger as they had to find the source of the zombified maggots.
Pinching his nose, he let out a sigh and said, "Give me the location, I will be there in an hour."
"Just report to the central ring’s laboratory," Qin Luzi replied.
"Understood."
After hanging up the call, Mo Junjie finished the experiments he was doing, recorded the data, and stored everything in his necklace. When he was done, he took a shower and changed into a set of clean clothes before he left the house on his bicycle.
When he arrived at the laboratory, it was already in the afternoon. After showing his ID card, he was escorted to the laboratory and underwent several inspections before one of the staff led him to the third underground level.
The moment he walked out from the elevator, he raised his eyebrows when he saw the number of researchers and scientists working in this place. Everyone was busy with their tasks and didn’t even give him a glance.
Those who were working with dangerous substances were given an isolated room. The door was made of Wen Kai’s metal while the walls were made from tempered glass.
Standing outside one of the rooms, Mo Junjie observed the scientists extracting a green liquid from a mutant plant. The mutant plant was locked inside a tempered glass box with several small holes for ventilation.
He watched them add chemicals and heat up the liquid. One person was recording the data while four people were observing and mixing the liquid.
While he was lost in his thoughts watching them, an old man walked over and said, "Doctor Mo, it’s great to have you here."
Hearing this, Mo Junjie was pulled out of his thoughts. Turning around, he met a familiar face and replied with a smile, "Professor Fu, it’s a pleasure to meet you here."
After the two of them shook hands, Fu Zhengde said, "I will show you your laboratory. My assistant will send over the sample to you. Do you need anyone to be appointed as your assistant?"
Mo Junjie liked to work alone, so he refused, "No need, I dislike people disturbing me when working."
Fu Zhengde had long heard the rumors about this genius, so he didn’t insist and said nothing.
Ten minutes later, he handed an access card to him and said, "This is your access card. You need it to enter the building. We use a biometric system in the lab, so you can register your iris."

Mo Junjie opened the door and said, "Put it on the table."

Without wasting time, Mo Junjie put on a pair of gloves, a full-face mask, and opened the box. Inside were several pieces of rotten meat, blood samples, and fingernails.
He picked up the glass tube and narrowed his eyes. After a moment, he started testing the blood.
While he was busy working, Jiao Lizhi finished draining her energy five times and consumed four hundred crystal cores to recover her energy. After she rested for an hour and recovered some of her energy, she stood up and left the reservoir area.
