"I wasn't this infuriating before," Lin Feng glanced at him, denying it.

"Heh, you'll only be more infuriating than him," Peng Tao snorted. "Who was it who got injured on a mission, told to rest properly, but refused to listen and insisted on going out?"
"Are those the same thing?" Lin Feng disagreed. That was a mission; how could he retreat just because he was injured? He felt he could still hold on and continue fighting.
"They are the same," Fu Wenwen and Peng Tao said in unison.
"See? Even sister-in-law agrees! What else do you have to refute?" Peng Tao, hearing Fu Wenwen's agreement, immediately lifted his chin and glared.
"..." Lin Feng looked at Fu Wenwen, who narrowed her eyes dangerously.

Peng Tao and Xiao He's voices faded. Lin Feng chuckled and continued washing the dishes.
That night, after Lin Feng had bathed Lin An and handed him to Fu Wenwen, he put on his clothes and was preparing to go find Peng Tao. Not long after stepping out, he discovered he was being followed.
Lin Feng raised an eyebrow and feigned a move, disappearing into an alley.
The person behind him, not expecting Lin Feng to disappear so suddenly, quickly pursued him.

Wang Hu raised an eyebrow. "She told me to give it to you unconditionally, but I think! It's fair to have give and take! Giving you such important items without getting anything in return feels like a loss, doesn't it."
"What do you want?" Lin Feng gestured for him to speak.
Wang Hu thought for a moment. This was a rare opportunity; why not secure a guarantee for his brothers? "If any of us from the black market are caught, you have to ensure we're safe!"
Lin Feng had expected him to make an exorbitant demand, but he only wanted protection? Yet, thinking about it, it also gave Lin Feng a different perspective on Wang Hu.
"Alright," Lin Feng nodded directly. Compared to Chen Long's matter, this was incredibly easy.
