Chapter 11 The Harvest

Su Ling left the supermarket and returned to her car. She picked up her phone and, using the same tactic, called Yang Yang.

"Yang Yang, have you arrived? I got stuck in traffic and probably won't be there for a while," a voice devoid of emotion sounded in the car as Su Ling fastened her seatbelt.

Yang Yang was furious. Hearing Su Ling's innocent-sounding apology, she couldn't contain her anger. "Are you deliberately messing with me?"

Their car had already started and was heading towards Su Ling's villa.

Su Ling sat in the car, looking straight ahead with a cold expression. "Yang Yang, what are you talking about? What's wrong? Are you angry because I didn't spend your birthday with you? Don't be upset, I have a surprise gift for you. Also, I've fired that irresponsible staff member from the hot pot restaurant. Calm down, and we'll see each other later."

With that, Su Ling hung up the phone, tossed it aside, and drove home.

Yang Yang stared at the hung-up call, fuming. Thinking she would see Su Ling soon, her anger subsided somewhat. That little vixen was easy to fool. Later, she'd trick her into returning the money she had spent and extort a considerable sum from her.

Thinking about the usurious loans she had taken out to pay the bills for the hot pot restaurant and the supermarket, Yang Yang felt enraged.

No, she had to make that little vixen compensate her for both these expenses!

Su Ling took a shortcut, driving at breakneck speed.

She returned to her residence, but Yang Yang and the others hadn't arrived yet.

Her car drove into the courtyard. She got out, changed the password for the main gate, drove the car into the garage, and went upstairs.

Back in her room, she went directly into her personal space.

While she was away, her personal space had undergone a complete transformation.

The poultry she had been raising had grown and begun to reproduce. The fish and seafood in the seas and rivers were also breeding rapidly and growing at an astonishing pace.

As for the fruit seeds she had planted in the yard, they had long since grown into large trees, laden with fruit.

At this moment, Su Ling stood under a grape trellis, looking up at the clusters of alluringly beautiful grapes. She reached out, plucked one, and popped it into her mouth. It was large, plump, juicy, and sweet.

After just one bite, Su Ling was hooked. She picked a whole bunch, held it in her hand, turned, and sat on a wooden stool to eat.

Compared to the grapes sold in fruit shops outside, the grapes in her personal space were absolutely top-notch.

Soon, Su Ling finished a bunch of seedless grapes. Still wanting more, she stood under a lychee tree, stood on tiptoe to pull down a branch, picked a few lychees, peeled them, and put them into her mouth.

The lychees had thin skins, thick flesh, and small pits. Their unique sweet fragrance exploded in her mouth, making them utterly irresistible.

After eating the lychees, Su Ling set her sights on the large, golden mangoes. She picked one, peeled it, and took a bite. The mango's aroma filled her nostrils; it was fragrant and sweet.

Su Ling was overjoyed. She tasted all the fruits she had planted, one by one.

Feeling full, she patted her slightly bulging stomach and went to the strawberry patch. Seeing how well the strawberries were growing, she regretted that they would have to be removed. She wanted to reserve this patch of black soil for planting some herbs.

If only she could transplant them to the red soil in the yard.

As soon as she thought this, the strawberries in the black soil vanished instantly.

A spark of realization flashed through Su Ling's mind. With a thought, she appeared in the yard. Indeed, the strawberries that should have been planted in the black soil were now spread all over, nestled beneath the fruit trees, densely packed, and very enticing.

Looking at the abundant harvest in the garden, Su Ling couldn't help but feel worried again.

Time flowed extremely slowly in the space compared to the outside world. However, the poultry, seafood, and fruit seeds she had brought in were growing at an accelerated rate. While she was delighted, she also worried that their growth cycles might be short, leading to their quick demise.

With this thought, Su Ling went under the grape trellis, only to suddenly freeze—
