Chapter 72: Ruin Her

Chapter 72: Chapter 72: Ruin Her

Originally, there was no one by the railing, but suddenly a familiar profile appeared in view.

Nora Northwood didn’t have time to speak before she saw Wendy Bell throw herself into his arms.

She seemed to hear the sound of a breaking heart. To protect her last shred of emotion, she turned and ran out of the venue.

Forget it, it seems like I’m the one who doesn’t belong here.

Meanwhile, on the second floor, Jasper Sinclair felt a murderous urge.

"What does Miss Bell mean by this?" He frowned, already having some OCD, and the woman in front of him had just spilled a glass of red wine.

The wetness on his body was really uncomfortable, but luckily he dodged quickly, otherwise, Wendy Bell would have jumped on him by now.

"Sorry, President Sinclair, I lost my balance for a moment. Let me wipe it off for you."

Wendy Bell stepped forward, her eyes filled with more than just apology, her doe-like eyes looking at Jasper Sinclair.

That expression was hard for any man to refuse, especially since she was dressed in a figure-hugging outfit.

But Jasper Sinclair only felt disgusted. He gave a cold snort and turned to leave.

Louis Hayes glanced from one to the other and quickly got up to follow President Sinclair.

As for Wendy Bell, who was left standing there, she showed no signs of distress.

Looking at her now, there was no necklace around her neck, just emptiness.

She sat languidly on the seat, casually pulled the necklace from her pocket, and thought she had bet right.

The first step to taking down President Sinclair was to sow discord in their marriage.

Sneering, "Can a sparrow also reach the treetop?"

She had someone investigate information about Nora Northwood and found out she hadn’t even gone to college. She really couldn’t understand why President Sinclair was interested in her in the first place; was it because she was easy to deceive?

"Hey beautiful, want to dance?" A man approached to flirt, but Wendy Bell just raised an eyebrow and glanced at him before directly rejecting and leaving.

Just outside the door, she clearly saw that the girl next to the Morgan Family heir had, like her, had her man stolen by Nora Northwood.

"A useful pawn," she murmured to herself, but before she could act further, her phone rang. Looking at the caller display, a flash of disgust crossed her eyes.

"Dear daughter, when are you going to send the money you promised?" The man’s voice was tinged with drunkenness.

Hearing the chaotic sounds around him, Wendy Bell instantly understood—he was out gambling again.

Her tone was still laced with contempt, "Why rush? Taking down President Sinclair isn’t that easy, I might even need your help later."

She was eager to sever ties with William Bell. Everyone else’s dads were protective of their daughters, but hers seemed afraid he wouldn’t be able to drain her dry.

William Bell impatiently said he got it before hanging up the phone.

Meanwhile, Yuna Hughes had also been driven out, her face pale, her tearful eyes truly pitiful.

"So pitiful, being robbed of your man by such a woman," she sighed softly, her seemingly sympathetic tone completely infuriating Yuna Hughes.

"Who do you think you are? Does this lady need your pity?"

She bristled, but in her heart, she completely agreed with the statement. How could her senior be taken away by a married woman!

Wendy Bell didn’t argue with her, just beckoned with her hand, her red lips slightly curling, "I do have a way to help you let off this steam."

Yuna Hughes looked at her cautiously. From her observation, this woman probably didn’t have any decent ideas in mind.

She was still considering whether to refuse when the other woman spoke directly.

"You just need to ruin her, don’t you?"
