Chapter 190: Returning the Bullying She Suffered

Chapter 190: Chapter 190: Returning the Bullying She Suffered

Jasper Sinclair appeared in front of everyone.

The neighbors who were shouting earlier were now completely quiet, not daring to say a word.

He was wearing a black suit, with no extra expression on his face. Seeing him this way, everyone speculated whether Quentin Ford had owed money again and someone was here to collect the debt.

After entering the house, he took off the black suit and handed it to Sid beside him.

"Young master, don’t dirty your hands, I’ll handle it." Sid seemed a bit frightened, observing that the young master’s demeanor wasn’t quite right.

Jasper didn’t say anything, just unbuttoned his cuffs and walked step by step toward Quentin Ford.

"Sign this agreement, your son returns. Don’t sign, and you go in to accompany him."

He squinted at Quentin Ford in front of him, speaking each word clearly.

Quentin Ford felt a chill in his lower body, scared to the point of wetting his pants. Normally, he only dealt with the fiercest debt collectors, never someone like Jasper Sinclair who exuded the air of a superior.

Seeing him approach unhurriedly, Quentin Ford backed away in panic.

"Don’t mess around, if you continue I’ll call the police."

"Which one is Nora Northwood’s room?" He asked with a sullen face.

Quentin Ford didn’t dare to speak nonsense, trembling as he pointed to the smallest room inside.

He initially thought of checking what conditions Nora had lived under in the Ford Family, but upon seeing it today, there was nothing worth mentioning. As Nora said, it’s good enough to have a place to stay.

"Alright then." He said coldly with a smile, and when he came out again, there was a smile on his face, yet it still sent a shiver down Quentin Ford’s spine.

"President Sinclair, is there anything else you’re dissatisfied with? You tell us, we’ll sign the agreement immediately."

This time Quentin Ford didn’t dare make a sound, not to mention asking for any support money, he didn’t even have the courage to look at this man.

He hurriedly urged May Lawrence to finish signing and handed it over to Jasper Sinclair eagerly.

But sharp-eyed, noticing he showed no intention of leaving, Quentin Ford became even more frightened.

"President Sinclair, is there something else?"

"Indeed there is, I want to settle a score with you." Taking out a handkerchief to wipe his hands, Jasper Sinclair glanced coldly over them.

"You keep saying you treat Nora well, but you, your wife, and Spencer Ford all have bedrooms, leaving only a storage room for Nora. Yet another bedroom is turned into Spencer Ford’s game room—is this how you love your daughter?" Though his words were directed at both, his gaze was fixed solely on May Lawrence.

"No, it’s because Nora rarely stayed at home, so we didn’t particularly prepare a room."

"Then why didn’t you let her continue her studies after high school?" Jasper Sinclair toyed with a baseball bat Sid brought.

Seeing this made Quentin Ford’s heart race with fear.

"President Ford, we were just confused for a moment, and besides, we haven’t done anything hugely unforgivable. Please have mercy on us."

"Mercy?" Jasper Sinclair laughed chillingly, his blood-red eyes seemed to see them as mere objects: "If Nora hadn’t married me, who were you planning to sell her to? Just for an eighteen thousand eight hundred dowry, you ignored Nora’s life and death."

The more he spoke, the more shocked he felt later, not knowing how Nora had endured all these years.

If he hadn’t known these things, he certainly wouldn’t have come today, he found it disgraceful to associate with the Ford Family.

But Nora is his wife, he must pay back all the bullying she suffered!

"No..." Quentin Ford wanted to explain.

"What do you want to explain, no what?"

"Spencer Ford stealing things is a fact, you signing this agreement is doing a good deed, but the debt owed to Nora is not yet settled."
