Chapter 191: Chapter 191: Break One of His Legs
Quentin didn’t dare say no anymore, quickly picked up the pen and signed his name.
Jasper nodded with satisfaction, but now it was time to discuss Nora’s matter.
"President Sinclair, I was wrong. I will never dare bother Nora again. Please let it go."
Slumped on the floor, Quentin begged repeatedly.
The people outside watched his sorry state and couldn’t help but laugh, none of them had any intention of stepping out to help or call the police. After all, this man brought it upon himself.
The room was silent, Jasper walked a little closer.
"You should know, I originally intended to take care of you directly before I came, but Nora said not to dirty my hands because of you."
As he finished speaking, Quentin’s body trembled suddenly, his pupils changed in an instant.
Take care of him? That’s against the law!
Jasper merely glanced at him, then tossed the baseball bat to the bodyguard.
"Break one of his legs." With a casual tone, he decided Quentin’s fate.
Quentin already owed a lot of debts and got into various troubles, Jasper knew he wouldn’t call the police.
But he still felt unsettled, how could one leg compensate for the years of torment Nora endured?
Stepping out of the room, hearing a miserable scream from inside, he sneered and walked downstairs.
However, he suspected Quentin wouldn’t give up so easily, so he was prepared.
Back home, he saw Nora in a daze and felt a slight ache in his heart, assuming she was worried about May’s situation.
"Nora, if you can’t bear it, then..."
She looked up at him and shook her head: "It’s not that, I’m thinking about Rachel Woodward’s matter."
Yvonne just called her, the hospital said Rachel’s arm was severely injured, the fracture situation was quite serious.
They also said if she could publicly admit to doing it and sincerely apologize to Yvonne, they would let the matter go.
Otherwise, if it escalates, it would also affect The Sinclair Group.
Even though she knew the Woodward Family couldn’t really threaten The Sinclair Group, after all, she hadn’t done it, she couldn’t randomly admit it.
Raising her elbow to rest her chin, she instinctively sighed.
She immediately felt a lightness as she was pulled into his embrace.
She instinctively wrapped her arms around Jasper’s neck, their eyes met, and in that instant, affection spread.
With a flushed face, she turned her head, murmuring: "Stop messing around, Mrs. Walker is still here."
He chuckled softly, seeing her so adorable, couldn’t help teasing her.
"What if I mess around, would you bear to let me suffer, my dear wife?"
"President Sinclair, take care of your health, don’t ruin it while you’re young." She said earnestly, noticing the man’s darkened expression, feeling quite pleased.
Jasper pinched her little nose as a punishment.
"Don’t worry, I’ve already had someone investigate Rachel Woodward’s matter, I’ll make sure justice is done for you."
"But it’s not easy to investigate, after all, nobody can prove whether she pulled me or I pushed her, even the surveillance can’t show it."
Thinking about this, Nora’s expression turned worse, she seemed to have caused trouble for Jasper again.
He tenderly held her in his arms: "It’s okay, there will be a way."
She nodded in agreement, but still felt uneasy inside.
The next morning, she went to the studio to work as usual, while Jasper took people to the restroom where the incident occurred.
He had already arranged for the hotel staff to seal it off in advance, so when he arrived, there was no one around.
He repeatedly checked the position of the surveillance camera, continually furrowing his brow without saying anything.
