Someone recognized Nora’s identity and greeted respectfully, "Hello, Mrs. Sinclair."
Nora smiled and nodded, then said to Jasper Sinclair, "Didn’t want to disturb your work."
Jasper Sinclair didn’t mind the interruption at all but instead told the people behind him, "Today’s report ends here; send a proposal to Special Assistant Hayes’s email before any decisions are made."
Then, everyone dispersed.
Jasper Sinclair pinched Nora’s cheek hard, and when he released his hand, a small patch of skin appeared faintly red.
"Didn’t expect to catch me here, did you?"
Nora exclaimed playfully, "Oh!" and explained, "I have to meet a very important person tomorrow, so I wanted to see if there’s any suitable attire."
Jasper Sinclair’s voice trailed with a teasing note, "So, in Nora’s heart, there’s someone more important than me."
Nora saw the playful look in his eyes and decided to turn away, ignoring him while continuing to examine the dress she had just taken a liking to.
Jasper Sinclair wasn’t annoyed, instead helping her analyze, "The neckline on this dress is quite low. Is it for meeting friends or business partners?"
Nora replied that it was the latter.
In the end, the two took home a mid-length dress in a low-saturation gray.
After going back and finding time, she informed her studio team about this through a message.
"Ladies, we have another big deal coming!"
Megan Underwood sent a tea-drinking emoji. "Let me guess, it must be a collaboration with Rhea headquarters, right?"
"Yes, we’ll discuss it in detail during tomorrow’s meeting. Although it’s not fully confirmed yet, I feel like things are already moving in the right direction."
