Nora said with a hint of flattery, "Pick a blue one; it’ll match you better."

Nora looked around carefully and finally chose a retro teal qipao.
"Jasper, how about this one?"
"Try it on."
Doing as he said, Nora took the qipao into the fitting room.
Her complexion was fair and radiant, complementing the silky fabric, enhancing her elegance. The qipao had a slit above the knee, revealing her calves as she walked.
One had to admit, Nora really suited wearing a qipao.
When she came out, she found Jasper in a daze, lightly tapping his knuckles against the coffee table.
Nora called out, "Jasper."
Hearing her, Jasper looked up, his eyes lingering on her slender waist, causing his throat to tighten.
"It suits you well; let’s go with this one."
Nora smiled wryly at his words.
The stylist fussed over Nora for a while longer, and by the time the two of them arrived at the celebration party, more than half of Rhea’s people were already there.
This was a small celebratory event, only involving the partners and their families, with few outsiders, which meant less superficiality.
Nora saw Raina Sinclair and went to greet her, "Hi Auntie, long time no see."
