Chapter 162: Chapter 162: He Is the Most Important Gift
Jasper Sinclair took her to the dress shop, where she wore a light pink long gown, looking just like a princess.
He called for a makeup artist to do her makeup.
Half an hour later, she appeared like a fairy descending to the mortal world, making it impossible for anyone to look away.
Her long hair was braided in a fishtail braid, fluffy and youthful, with a small diamond crown on her head, and her makeup was cute and playful.
Seeing herself dressed like this, she blushed momentarily. Although she liked it, she was worried others would find it strange, considering she no longer belonged to that age.
"Do you like it?" His eyes were filled with amazement.
He remembered seeing in her notes that her childhood dream was to be a little princess.
It was a pity she didn’t realize it as a child, so as her husband, he would help her fulfill her dream of being a princess!
She nodded eagerly, how could she not like it!
"As long as you like it, let’s go, we have another place to visit." He hurriedly took Nora Northwood with him, rushing out as if attending an event.
As they approached their destination, he somehow conjured a piece of light silk and gently blindfolded her eyes.
"Be good, trust me, you will absolutely love it." He was already impatient to see her reaction. He had been preparing for almost half a month for this day.
The scent of mint lingered around her nostrils, and she knew Jasper Sinclair was still close.
The next second, his slightly cool lips touched hers, and she blushed suddenly.
Compared to the blush applied by the makeup artist, this natural flush complemented today’s makeup even more.
Getting out of the car, he carried Nora forward. Nora couldn’t see anything in front of her, so she nervously grasped his collar with her small hand.
Bodyguards cleared the path for them, and Nora only knew they entered an elevator; beyond that, she was lost.
It wasn’t until a refreshing evening breeze blew around her that she snapped out of it.
"Are you ready?" His voice was low and enticing, making Nora’s heart itch: "3, 2, 1."
As his countdown ended, the light silk in front of her eyes was also removed.
At first, she wasn’t adjusted, but once she was, her eyes widened.
"These..."
"Is this your childhood dream? I fulfilled your regret." He suddenly knelt on one knee in front of her: "Although we are already married, I still owe you one formal proposal, so, Miss Nora, will you marry me?"
Her nose tingled, and her eyes instantly filled with tears. She nodded fiercely, too excited to say a word.
Surrounded by pink briar roses, it was evident they were fresh and vibrant. The scent of roses encircled her, and there was even a doll she had dreamed of as a child.
Though this doll was worth an unknown multiple of what she wanted back then.
And other gifts, all arranged together, with a photo of the two of them on top.
"I’ve found all the gifts you recorded as wanting, leaving the most important gift—me. I’m giving it to you, is that okay?"
Hugging her from behind, his voice was enchanting.
Gently he kissed her neck, and before she could respond, there was suddenly a pop beside her.
"It started." He pointed to the distance, where a fireworks show had begun.
Everyone in the city was astonished to see this scene, not for anything else, but because the fireworks were extraordinarily beautiful.
They had never seen a pink rose blossom shape before.
