Chapter 163: Chapter 163: Let’s Have a Child
Nora didn’t expect this man to be so unbearably romantic.
"Did you think of all this yourself?" She leaned into his embrace, and the two were cozily nestled on the large balcony.
"Yes, but most of it I found online. I combined them with your preferences to create this scene. I hope you don’t mind."
After all, it was his first time doing this, and he was unsure.
This was the estate left to him by his parents. He used to feel it was too desolate, so he rarely stayed there.
But now that he had Nora, he wanted to bring her to live here.
He wanted to say more, but suddenly she turned in his arms and kissed him directly on the lips.
"I really like it, Jasper."
Jasper Sinclair was stunned in place, only feeling small fireworks exploding in his heart—Nora had actively kissed him!
He picked her up and placed her on the big bed in the room, eager to be close to her.
Just as he was about to lean down to kiss her, Nora spoke again.
"Let’s have a baby," she said, her lips barely parted, oblivious to the shock her words had caused Jasper.
"What did you say?" He was pleasantly surprised and stunned.
"I said let’s have a baby, but not now. We should wait until VK has established itself in this big environment. I want to meet you at the top."
Nora spoke ambitiously, confident in her abilities, and also in Lily and the others.
They were five women, determined to carve out their own path.
At first, Jasper was taken aback, but then he nodded and agreed.
The room’s candlelight flickered, and the two of them fully enjoyed the present moment of leisure.
They indulged until the early hours, and when Nora couldn’t take it anymore, Jasper finally held her and took her to wash up and sleep.
He thought it wouldn’t be long before he would meet Nora at the peak.
...
At the bidding conference for the Eastmoor land, Jasper Sinclair glanced across at Jenson Sinclair and raised an eyebrow.
"Sorry, brother. I really want this land too." His fox-like eyes gleamed.
He had expected to see other emotions in Jasper’s eyes, but Jasper simply snorted.
"There’s nothing to be sorry about. After all, I don’t think you’re worthy of being my opponent."
Jenson was momentarily stung, but exchanging words here was pointless.
He wanted to show Jasper through action that he wasn’t the same Jenson Sinclair as before.
"However, I heard your wife’s family caused a ruckus at your place earlier. Brother, I must say it’s better to find a wife from a comparable family."
Jenson didn’t want to see Jasper so relaxed, so he deliberately said things to disgust him.
Men care about their image, and even though Jasper didn’t show it right now, he must have felt embarrassed.
Jasper glanced at him, uncrossed his legs, and put the documents from his lap onto the table.
His eyes stared relentlessly at Jenson, giving him a surprising chill.
After a moment, Jasper’s eyes just casually flitted over him.
"A comparable family? Only those without ability solely pursue compatibility. I insist on what I like. Is that not okay?"
With a squinting smile, these words left Jenson speechless, opening his mouth only to coldly snort and say nothing more.
Soon after, the person in charge of the bidding arrived.
Standing above, they announced the start of the bidding.
Aside from Jenson and Jasper Sinclair, several other families were eyeing the Eastmoor land.
Once the announcement was over, everyone submitted their bidding documents.
