Chapter 111: She’s Pregnant with Jasper Sinclair’s Child

Chapter 111: Chapter 111: She’s Pregnant with Jasper Sinclair’s Child

Seeing Nora Northwood so open-minded, it was actually Jasper Sinclair who felt uneasy this time.

But before anything else, he wanted to know, "Who is Yara?"

He scratched his head, utterly clueless about how Nora came up with a Yara.

Hearing him say that, Nora just assumed he was being stubborn and pursed her lips before getting out of the car and entering the elevator.

What should she say? Should she really disgrace herself by saying her husband called out another’s name while with her?

Thinking like this made her heart even colder, as Mr. Sinclair not only bullied her but refused to admit it too.

At this moment, Jasper Sinclair was baffled. What had he done? Who is Yara?

He originally wanted to go up and ask Nora for clarification, but by the time he did, she had already gone to bed.

Forget it, he thought, he’d ask tomorrow when there was a chance.

...

Nora Northwood looked at Wendy Bell with a blank expression.

"It seems Miss Northwood isn’t surprised to see me at all." Wendy Bell smirked.

Her alluring red lips, paired with her beautiful face, attracted many passing guests.

"Did you know me before?" Nora fiddled with the photos and prenatal check-up documents in her hands, simply raising an eyebrow at the woman across from her.

If so, then everything was explained; those life-recording posts on social media were probably meant for her to see.

Calmly putting down the photos, she picked up her coffee and took a sip.

Seeing her so composed, actually caught Wendy Bell by surprise.

No matter, the reason she came today wasn’t just for a staring contest with Nora Northwood.

"You could say so; I saw you on Jasper Sinclair’s phone. But as you’ve noticed, I’m pregnant with his child. Even though you’re married, he and I are truly in love. He doesn’t want to hurt you, so I had to be the one to say it. I have to consider the child I’m carrying."

As she spoke, the phone on the table suddenly rang.

Nora glanced at it; it was from an unnamed number. She raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Wendy Bell, a bit agitated, hang up and then return to her calm demeanor.

"So, please let Miss Northwood grant me and Jasper what we want." Wendy Bell spoke as if it were easy, acting as though she were the rightful one and Nora the intruding third party.

"I’m not someone who can’t let go, but Mr. Sinclair needs to tell me himself about this matter. Apart from marriage, there are other things between us. I’m not in a position to bring up divorce, but if Mr. Sinclair does, I won’t hold things up." She looked seriously at Wendy Bell.

She didn’t know if the relationship Wendy spoke of was true or false, but this was indeed what she felt.

Wendy Bell’s eyes tightened, precisely as her phone rang again. It was that annoying call, which she hung up on irritably.

Nora leaned back in her chair, "Miss Bell seems to be a bit busy. If there’s anything else, just let Mr. Sinclair discuss it with me. We have nothing more to talk about."

With that, she stood up to leave, and as she left, she casually noted down that phone number on her mobile.

Her memory was slightly better than most, and after a few glances, she had mostly remembered it.

Perhaps that phone number could come in handy in the future.

At this moment, Wendy Bell angrily answered the call, "What do you want!"

"I lost at gambling again. Just send me a hundred thousand," the male voice on the phone said, as if it was his right, without considering how difficult it was to come by that amount of money.
